I seriously don't know what is up with the UK postal system.
I order some things, they arrive ok, but then other things don't show up at all!
I'm still waiting on those memory card adapters. What is the deal!?
Apparently one of the suppliers is from Swansea, so it shouldn't take over two weeks for me to get a damn parcel!
(They sent out another one, but I'm afraid that won't show up either)
I'm tempted to go to the damn post centre in town, and ask them if I have any undelivered mail, because its just so odd...
I order something from CEX, Play.com, Zavvi, ebay, or main Amazon suppliers, and it arrives in 2-4 days, but these two orders are taking weeks!
I'm worried that the packages might have been held or lost somewhere in the postal chain.
(I'd be worried if I was buying something expensive from abroad, but I'm NOT! I'm buying cheap £2.50-£5 bit of plastic with a chip in, so I can take my two 32gb micro SD cards and use them in a PSP!)
At this rate, I might as well give up, get my refund and buy a 16gb Memory Stick Pro Duo for £20.
(But thats not ideal really. I'd rather have the adapter for 64gb memory)
I'm flying back to Australia again today, where my phone won't work and internet frequently doesn't either. Because I'll be out of touch for a while, I planned to write my guy a little note for every day I'm gone... then I got a bit carried away.

Wow, you must be the greatest girlfriend ever!
If only you had some kind of SPIDER SENSE to tell you these things.
Spider... sense??!?
Don't be absurd!
What is this? Some kind of comic book!?
Sure I can whip up a web shooter with bio-degradable adhesive, and make a lycra suit with mini suction cups, but tell me:
Have you ever seen any REAL-LIFE hero with super powers?
EDIT: Welp. If the rumours about the next generation of consoles is true, it looks like I won't be getting any of them.
Except for maybe the Wii U if it doesn't have this anti-used stuff thats being rumoured to be in both the new Playstation and the new Xbox.
I spend A LOT on xbox live/psn stuff and I buy a lot new, but I also buy used games when money is tight, or the copy is conveniently there.
Unlike Valve who have great sales to make up for the account being tied up, neither Sony or Microsoft will offer retail games at a FAIR price, not for a looooooong time at least.
Guess I'll be sticking with my GOGs and Steam stuff. Maybe have to eventually invest in a PC that can play newer games.
At least... at least I will have the PSP and 3DS to keep my portable gaming going for a long time as well, but barring that, me and consoles are probably going to part ways.

This is my plan exactly. I'm not too optimistic and I've just spent too much on too many consoles. I bought a good PC and my plan is to stick to it. I'll have to upgrade parts eventually, but as computers have become more affordable, consoles have gone the other direction. It just makes more sense than it used to.

I'll really miss my NHL games though.
You know the state of console gaming has become ridiculous when a digital copy of Mortal Kombat is £45.
FORTY FIVE POUNDS!!!
The game is currently like £10 on retail. NEW
And. There is probably going to be a COMPLETE/GOTY edition with all the DLC. Its. Just.... INSANE!!!!
I'm assuming the console men are trying to stay tight with bricks and mortar retailers, there's no way they're this thick/incompetent.
R..right?
I'm not sure. This is the weird thing, some games on xbox live at least are reasonably priced.
Tales of Vesperia for instance is £15. Very good, considering the game is no longer available new, and used go for £40+
Many games are about £5 more than a new copy.
But most of them are £10+ more expensive, and that is just unacceptable.
And when they EVENTUALLY reduce the price of a game, its never even close to its current value.
Mortal Kombat I think was actually £49.99 when it was first released, but then it quickly went to £45.

Ahhh, but do you think it's so nicely priced because they're not competing with Gamestop et al as the product's unavailable there?
Makes sense in a perverted way. I've no doubt the reasoning behind the pricing is needlessly complex and tedious and mostly nonsensical to anyone but a suit.

I do a management degree and in no way does £45 for a game that is over a year old, AND is going to be made obselete by ITSELF, make any damn sense whatsoever! XD
(At most it should be about £15. You would some extra back from the DLC. Trying to encourage VOLUME is the best strategy here, especially in the long-term, (the more people playing this game NOW, the more people likely to pick up the sequel in the future))
EDIT: Its like some of these companies operate with no strategy whatsoever!
Its just, "slap a price on there", or "slap on this bit of DRM", or "slap the consumer in the face. They don't DERSERVE our product", I don't get it.
Other industries almost literally trip over themselves to keep their consumer base loyal and strong, offering them pretty much everything they want or could want, but videogame companies act like an abusive spouse, lashing out at their other half, then meekly apologising afterwards.
(e.g. Ubisoft. "WE DON'T LIKE YOU ANYMORE! YOU FILTHY PIRATE SKANKS! ACTIVATE THE ALWAYS ONLINE DRM!!" *1-2 weeks later* "we're sorry. Here, we'll just take the always on drm off now. Please don't leave us... )
Larry 4. XD
also the remakes are missing (originals are there though) but why include one remake (larry 1 = softporn adventure) and not others.
Just kidding. On both points.
I refuse to believe it. That /v/ were actually virally marketed to is gonna swell their heads up so big. Place is doomed. Nobody will talk about games still though.

Do any of the notes say, "I knew you couldn't resist and would open all of these the second I left!"?
Comments
Yep.
meanwhile, my sister snuck in the room while i was watching it
Aw, bummer. Time for pest control?
I moths eating the carpet in my old place in the UK... so gross.
Stop that, else I'll take those leather pants!
I'll get him hot. Show him what I've got.

Attachment not found.
1st row right: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
3rd row left: Asterix & Obelix
the last one is puzzling. I feel like I should know what it is but it's eluding me.
Edit: nevermind, it hit me.
omfg... I want to punch myself in the face!
Okay, I looked it up. It's something I've never watched. I feel better.
Simpsons Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
South Park Smurfs
Asterix and Obelisk Bert and Ernie
Scrooge Mcduck and his nephews (Don't know last one)
AAAH! I knew it was some kind of cowboy! (Just couldn't remember the name! XD)

I reckon! Someone should give that man a trophy!
