Baby The Stars Shines Bright. They had a summer sale and I got this dress for a relative steal for what brand lolita usually goes for. >_>

it still weirds me out that the walking dead board is like a complete other communal entity. the culture and people there are COMPLETELY different than from here.

Why should that be strange? Back to the Future and Jurassic Park were the same way.

Don't worry, once you actually find Max it shouldn't take too long to remove the whole pesky extraneous body thing.

I think I'll go with a less authentic approach. I don't really want to get bits of Max brain in my hair.

But you can use the Toys!
  • edited August 2012
But what good would that do me if I don't actually have the Toys of Power?

I dunno, seemed a little more integrated back then. Now, it's just completely separate. Is this typical in normal forum culture?

I think it's largely a reflection of how much Telltale's games (and their target audience) have changed over the years.
  • edited August 2012
Well over the years, the gaming culture has changed from "what are we going to get?" to "this is what we deserve...".

    Gamers are spoiled.
  • edited August 2012
All I'm saying is, if Telltale makes another Monkey Island game and an episode is later than expected, I won't complain.

Guess the lesson is it is you who best watch yourself.

Although to be perfectly honest, I kinda want to have a ban on my TTG record. be known for always following the TTG forum rules except for that one time.

Trust me, it's not as fun as it sounds.

After the initial dramu, it was pretty dang funny. Its so easy circumventing being banned.
  • edited August 2012
I actually try to get banned from things for fun. Like several minecraft servers.I promise if I get the week suspension I'll never try again.
  • edited August 2012
Getting banned isn't really that hard. While there are a lot of flexible lines between mods, there are always the consistent hard lines. It only takes 1 post or PM.

But... But... We already had Spaceballs: The Animated Series.

EDIT: Oh wow, it's about just as funny as Spaceballs: The Animated Series too, it looks like.

Well if I had to describe it I'd say...
    Barf.

Well actually it wasn't absolutely terrible, but it wasn't very funny.

I admit, I have watched exactly three minutes of it on youtube, but these were so godawful that I never took a second look. Spaceballs is one of my favorite movies and I've known the dialogue [the German dubbing] by heart before I had even watched both Star Wars or Star Trek for the first time. So you'd think I'd be a bit more fanboyish about the franchise. Nope, the animated series was a complete dud.

A second movie, that might be it. We'd need a new Barf though. And a far younger and more active Mel Brooks.

Having watched a couple episodes of it on Netflix, I'd have to agree with you. It just lacked the charm and timing of the original. Plus, it seemed like a waste of talent. This Star Wars thing looks like it could go somewhere. but it has to be approached with the most EXTREME caution. IE, try to avoid the pitfalls of most movie spoofs.
  • edited August 2012
Here's the biggest problem. The first two episodes were the worst of the series. The first two episodes was a less funny adaptation of the movie. They removed the funniest jokes.

I mean I seriously think it could have been a great series. They had the right idea. They just pulled it off poorly.
