Someone just told me...thar Metal Gear Solid isn't as good as God Of War or Gears Of War. Or best quote yet. " The call of duty games, have a more realistic war feel to them."

I died on the inside.
I wouldn't have died on the inside they would have...and on the outside.
You're talking about a generation within a country that has been told by the media over and over that the sole piece of information that they need to know during a war is the death toll.

Of course those games get eaten up like candy.
I'm talking about someone who's a year my senior...I've been there I know what war is like and it irritates the shit out of me when people say these things.

Any bridges left to burn while you're in the mood?
So many! Just waiting on delivery of MOAR MATCHES!!
I've decided to move to San Francisco... this long-distance relationship thing is a bit balls and there's no real reason for us to be apart. Life is too short.
Not sure yet exactly what I'll be doing, just decided to make the leap and trust that I'll be able to make life happen. I thought my folks would freak out at the idea, but they're remarkably relaxed and supportive (and they haven't even met The Dude yet).
I'll need to get out of the country and come back on a different visa (tourist visa if I don't manage to get a job lined up, different work visa if I do). Timing is quite nice because The Dude has a work trip to Australia at the end of next month. Since I need to switch visas anyway, I'll go with him and we can do the whole "meet the family" thing. How exciting/nerve-wracking!
That will be my FOURTH time in Australia this year... crazynuts. Definitely not going back again for at least 12 months after that!
I don't know what you're talkin' about, man. Skullmageddon is the greatest villain I've seen since Tales LeChuck. The intentional Saturday morning cartoon voice. The Big Trouble in Little China entrance. The "two in the face" Continue screen.
Effin being able to make one player kneel down, and then push an enemy over his back like an effin bully. The frakkin 80s themes for each move. "Healing touch."
Your boyfriend is in San Francisco? MY boyfriend is in San Francisco. I'm going back there next month.
I absolutely agree about the long distance thing. Good luck with the visa, these are a pain to get, sadly. Leaving New York (that's where you were, right) sounds sad to me, as I loved it there when I was there, but you have a good reason (and the Bay area is pretty nice too).
I am sitting here in complete misery because I need to do....SOMETHING.....and I can't do anything. I literally can not get myself to do anything. All I could think of was to come here and make a post about it. And now I can't think of anything again.
Nice! It sucks to be apart, especially for long periods of time. Is the visit permanent or temporary?
Three months. To give an update, my stays in the California so far have been:
- three months from Feb 2011 to May 2011 (max allowed without a visa)
- then back in France for six months, got a visa
- six months from October 2011 to April 2012 (max allowed with a visa)
- then back in France for six months (current status)
- three months from October 2012 to January 2013 (no visa this time).
Then I'll be back in France for six months, and hopefully after that, I'll be able to move permanently. Otherwise, it should only take one extra back and forth.
I hear you on the mooching, but I'm not allowed to work in the US, and if I had to spend that whole time in France away from him I don't know how I would have done it.
Good luck with your future plans. Sounds exciting either way.
I'm an effing adult who holds a high intensity position and likes to relax in the weekends while staying within the FDA recommendation for liquor per week.

I have no problem with you. You have no problem with me. It's life and the world, we're talking about here. My father is a successful engineer , I don't see much of him. He's an alcoholic amongst other things. He's not a truly happy person.
All I did was ask you a question.
The ball is and always has been in your court. I wasn't challenging you . And if I've insulted you, my father whom I love dearly happens to be a alcoholic.
You have every right to react as you did. I can respect that.

Must... resist... urge... to go there...
...and a bag of "Tittles" in the vending machine. I'm liking this but I haven't gotten to the meat of gameplay yet.

Pffffffffffffffffffffft.
We're talking about the same gung-ho action movie Pro-America military propoganda masquerading as entertainment, right?

With your last couple posts..your like a little ball of sass...and I'm starting to fear you.
It's mirror universe , it's...

Oh, good, I'm not the only person to get my "famous person from American history" references from Lucky Luke.

I trust NASA about as far as I can throw a space shuttle into space. When it comes to many things but I see no proof this is a alien mother ship.
I like it.
One of my favorite videos on the net. Just saying.
These are both valid and correct responses.

Now to post what I came to post.
I don't know how anyone could hate Double Dragon Neon....and like The Secret of Monkey Island.
Effin being able to make one player kneel down, and then push an enemy over his back like an effin bully. The frakkin 80s themes for each move. "Healing touch."
"TERRA-firmative!"
YEAAAAAHHH.

Please don't take this wrong...
Are you a alcoholic?
My brain hurts.

Each to their own.
