Screenplay co-written by Gary Whitta, who also wrote Episode 4 of the Walking Dead game. I was planning to see it anyway (hey, it's a Will Smith movie!), but now it's almost mandatory.
Yeah, we still have a sun. It show up every few days in Michigan. We enjoy the visits, but I personally wish Snow would stay longer than a day at a time.
All of the above. Yes, I liked the remake. You can't replace Zero Mostel or Gene Wilder, but I really enjoyed how they added in more songs (or... you know, songs at all), having John Barrowman sing Springtime for Hitler, and the Heil Myself rendition... oh god, that was probably the most brilliant part of the remake right there.
My dream performance would be all the musical numbers from the remake mixed with the actors from the original (with a few replacements, like John Barrowman). Editors... get to it!

Would it bother you if someone you hated was near death and activated a self destruct button and you escaped but they died thinking they won and you where gonna die too.

Arch villains who kill themselves are boring anyway. They don't deserve any better. The only thing more boring than arch villains who kill themselves is arch villains who kill themselves out of boredom. Yeah, thanks for that, Steve Thompson.
Okay, because I'm fairly certain this post will eventually be snowed under by other posts, I'll just share a coupon code for you:
ELDRITCHFAIRYTALESTTG
It's for a free copy of my novel, and it's valid until April the 1st.
Why am I giving it away for free? It's not because I don't like money, it's more because I just want to know people's opinion, and so far, of the 12 people reading my novel, only a few gave some form of opinions and comments and stuff. Also, I like it if people read it.
It feels like when people mention their favorite TMBG songs, they always point to songs from Flood like Birdhouse in Your Soul or Istanbul not Constantinople.
My personal favorite is Ana Ng. It lyrically paints the singer's bittersweet realization that there is someone out there in the world that is perfect in every which way for him, but no matter how much he and his counterpart may search, they'll likely never ever meet each other despite how close they may get. There's a sadness in knowing that time is finite and that he and the girl are progressively older with every ticking second without each other. Despite all this, there's hope in simply knowing that this person exists somewhere in the world.

I find that if people Even know about TMBG they mention "Why Does The Sun Shine", and of course Istanbul not Constantinople.
My favorite used to be Particle Man, Which was on Flood, yes. Flood must have had some good songs. I wonder why I haven't heard the whole album
If you ask me now my favorite They Might Be Giants song is Marty Beller Mask, although I can't for the life of me tell you why. Also clearly I need to listen to Ana Ng. (didn't click your link yet)

My first major exposure to TMBG was through Homestar Runner. As such, "Experimental Film" will always hold a special place in my heart.
I'm glad we live in a day and age when video gaming has progressed to such a mature, introspective level that we now have games that pose deep philosophical messages for the audience to consider like "killing people is bad unless you feel like it"

I guess I feel a bit sad-ish that their silly songs turn out to be more well liked than their more musically serious stuff? But at the same time, I just really love the band and welcomes anyone to enjoy any of their stuff.

Well Flood was by far their most successful album (hitting platinum), and for good reason. Lots of really great songs in there. Here's a fun promo for it they did in 1990. Internet humor before internet humor existed.
Flood has a special place in my heart because my dad would play the album on long car rides so we would all sing along as a family- except for my mom who would sulk about the long ride in chinese eating her homemade stewed chicken feet.
They're going to be in Detroit in a couple of weeks. I won't be able to go

I've let my spriting go for far too long. After I finish up Epic Mickey 2, I'm going to spend at least one night a week doing art. Well, as close as what I do comes to art, so doing "art".
Chosen 4 London based universities to apply to, keeping the local university as a backup option if needed. Just need to write my personal statement. It's probably the main deciding part of the application so no pressure there!
My stomach. Ow. Did someone piss in the pizza I ordered last night? My stomach is a gurgling, painful abomination this morning. I didn't ask for the Mary Tyler Moore experience.

It worked yesterday. Those Nazis!
Heil Hailstone!
Living on a Prayer: Goat Edition cracked me up even more than the Taylor Swift one.

Seconded! It will be an exciting new adventure, and you'll have your brother there for support. Best of luck, biggins!
Yes. That one is really good.
No, no, no, no. The GEMA are the good guys, they're fighting for your musicians!
We still do have a sun, don't we?
Quiet before I link you to Heino's "Sonne" once again.
Movie or Broadway show?

Huh! I haven't listened to the new album. I like this song. I'm hoping to go see them in concert in April. They're touring!
