I'm glad we live in a day and age when video gaming has progressed to such a mature, introspective level that we now have games that pose deep philosophical messages for the audience to consider like "killing people is bad unless you feel like it"

You just reminded me that I have a Queensrÿche game around here somewhere that is supposed to be filled with deep thinking philosophical messages, but I never got around to actually installing it. Maybe someday, but for now, I have some taxes to do.
  • Why is it that Hollywood made a shit load of westerns in the past but now they’re very rare?

My stomach is a gurgling, painful abdomination this morning.
    Fixed.

Joking aside, I hope you'll be getting better soon.

There not "in" at the moment. Maybe with Django they will hop on the band waggon.

"Pirates of the Carribbean" wasn't exactly reviving pirate movies.

Okay, because I'm fairly certain this post will eventually be snowed under by other posts, I'll just share a coupon code for you:

    ELDRITCHFAIRYTALESTTG

It's for a free copy of my novel, and it's valid until April the 1st.

Why am I giving it away for free? It's not because I don't like money, it's more because I just want to know people's opinion, and so far, of the 12 people reading my novel, only a few gave some form of opinions and comments and stuff. Also, I like it if people read it.
Sorry, I've been uncharacteristically busy with art and music projects this year.

I just downloaded the latest update to my iPad, so I'll be sure to make some time to read it and let you know my opinions on it. :)

I'm fine now. It was bad though. Screw Pizza Hut, man.

Also, I don't want any more westerns unless people start pulling a Tarantino and taking their cues directly from spaghetti westerns. SCREW AMERICAN GLORIFIED WESTERNS.

Not a problem, I know a lot of people are busy with real life stuff and stuff, I just felt like giving my novel away some more, so that more people could spread the word about my novel and that it would one day become a full feature movie that will spawn new generations of Edwards and ripped werewolf people.

Well, I had a complete mental relapse tonight. I think it's time to go see a psychologist again.

What about Pale Rider? Outlaw Josey Wales? Unforgiven? True Grit?

P.S., I changed my mind. Django Unchained is the shiznit!

Psychiatrists are better. They have drugs and drugs make everything groovy.

All of those movies, if you mean modern True Grit, are the opposite of the American glorified western.

Also, I'm on medication.I'm past the point where it can help me. Fear has taken hold.

Generally, if the word is proceeded by "the", it is complimentary.

I just keep forgetting how awesome Gitaroo Man is.
Then I boot it up randomly again and fall in love with it again! <3

Edit: it's been way too long since we've had an awesome music rhythm game with original music.

Edit 2: Born to be bone has to be my favourite level.

So where the fuck is the major game review that says: "No tomb, no raidin', keep that shit for yourself, SquareEnix"??

Yeah, sorry, really bad mood. Work was exhausting AND I ruined my Dreamfall fan art contest entry yesterday simply by adding too much watercolor. Came out too dark, all details lost, it's just a big dark patch of color now. God DAMN. It would have been finished right now. :(

Why do people complain that the new Tomb Raider is ripping off Uncharted? It's the same thing about Castlevania: Lords of Shadow where people say it rips off God of War.

The truth is that Tomb Raider in part copies Uncharted which itself in part copies previous Tomb Raider games (meaning Tomb Raider is effectively copying itself); and Castlevania: LoS copies God of War which itself also in part copies previous Castlevania games (meaning it also is effectively copying itself).

The only thing is that Uncharted and God of War are more recently popular, so people who hadn't played previous Castlevania or Tomb Raider games don't realize how ignorant they are.

I hate when people say something rips off something, period. Artists are influenced by things that they have experienced before, whether intentional or simply subconsciously. Even Shakespeare based many of his plays on works that had come before him.

It doesn't make Shakespeare's plays any less enjoyable, and the same goes for any of today's entertainment.
