Would most of the people disappointed with the lack of a card know there was a lack of a card were it not for this thread? I think I would have noticed the lack of dagger in betrayal, but not the absence of the scientist. Just a thought.
The perfect way that Telltale could make this up to us would be to include the scientist card in the deluxe edition of season 2. Or if the tarot/voodoo cards were to feature in the second season, perhaps a second pack could be made, in which the scientist card could be included. Of course, all of this would rely on a second season actually being released, though.

Think not.
In my case, I would have noticed, as I kept track of all cards, posted the card list, and noticed that the Scientist was missing when I saw the first pics of it (but never noticed the missing dagger in the other one...). Didn't expect it to end up in its own multipage thread.
...one who shall end you, pathetic creature of meat and bone.
Anyways, I like to think of it this way. The added cards help tie the deck to the proper tarot a bit better and the lack of The Scientist is a distinct reason to make another season of Tales of Monkey Island - there can be a regular deck of just the Minor Arcana as a stand-alone product and The Scientist will be part of another Deluxe Edition. It's all good, people.
Actually, by not bothering with "The Sixth Sense" and adding "The Scientist" back into the deck, the cards would more closely align with the real-world Voodoo Tarot of New Orleans which has a version of each of the 22 standard Major Arcana cards as well as an extra wild card (Les Barons).
get a membwer of the telltale staff to post the like 5 people who are complaining a piece of paper with the word scientist on it,posting a letter internationally doesn't cost too much if it is is only general and no profit right?
I could see them send out that 1 card, but only if you buy something else in the store to even out the shipping or something like that, sending out just 1 card is ridiculous.
Besides I still get all the other 20 or so cool cards so I can miss 1, and I don't think that card looks that good really, I have other favourites.
Well, maybe Telltale would be able to offer the card for a much reduced shipping cost. As I said before, sending a small padded envelope would be a much lower shipping cost than TTG's normal shipping rate.
I know I wouldn't mind paying the $1.50 to ship a small padded envelope. In my opinion, if Telltale at least gives us the chance to get the Science card for no additional cost (except a small shipping fee), they have done enough to correct their mistake.
Again, this is just my opinion. I would still really like to hear from a staff member about what will be done to fix the problem...
I was replaying the game on PS3 and I laughed when in chapter 4 Guybrush gets the cards and says something along the line of "there are a few cards missing but it is good enough for the feast of the senses"

Do you even know what the tarot cards look like? They're a little more than what you describe. They are in-game collectors' items. They're printed on card, not just a piece of paper. They feature awesome artwork and a specific design with skulls, an emblem on the back, and the words "the scientist" are printed inside artwork of a frayed banner. They actually look cool.
Rumour is they actually were printed and came into the warehouse. The were stored near some important documents that were slated to be shredded. The shredding company accidentally shredded the whole pallet of cards instead of the important documents. There is a huge fight going on between the shredding company and TT. Now they are looking for volunteers from this thread to glue the shredded cards back together:p

Lol... I didn't mean to sound harsh or rude with the title. I just wanted to attract attention. I guess it worked!
No Scientist Card, and the bonus card I got in the Deluxe set is The Joker. *points to avatar*

There's a difference between this and this.
I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Other than the occasional post by Jake, the Telltale presence around here has dropped almost to zero.
Hey! Will keeps us informed about things too.
I'm sorry. I don't even like Shakespeare.
