Sam and Max's Surnames?

edited December 2011 in Sam & Max
If Sam and Max have surnames, or even middle names, what do you guess they are?

My guesses are Sam Andmachs and Max DeStruckshin. ;)

Sam Mcgruff! He hates being called mcgruff which is why it's a good surname

I can't think of one for Max :(

I don't believe they have any, which is part of their bizarre Purcell charm. But if I had to give them surnames it would be Sam Spayed and Max Pain.

    Sam Ulacra and Max Imus?
    Sam Max and Max Sam?
Maybe Max's middle and last names are "Little" and "Buddy"?

I vote for Max Max and Sam Sam

They don't have last names, obviously.

But if I had to give them last names, I'd take the laziest route possible and say they're Sam Ewell and Max Imilian. :p

    Sam Max and Max Sam?
That feels right to me ...
Maybe that's the reason the sometimes mistakenly call each other vice-versa! :D

Maybe Sam and Max are their Surnames rather than first names.
They could be called Sultry Sam and Mad Max(sorry it's the best I could think of).

In my family the pet's last name is the family name. Pets also have middle names. Patricia Joyce S., Dolly Gracie S., Wilbur Fenton S. ... That's so Mom had something to shout whenever the pet got into serious trouble. You know, like how when as a kid you did something really bad your mom would use three names.

In any case, when I saw the thread title, the first thing I thought was also Sam Max and Max Sam.

    How about this:

Samuel Oliver Leon and Maxwell Isaac Mum.
  • Damn. I was coming here to see if Sam had a last name. In my mind I always called him "Sam Spade" -- it sounds very 1930's Detective-ish.
