Sam and Max's Surnames?

If Sam and Max have surnames, or even middle names, what do you guess they are?

My guesses are Sam Andmachs and Max DeStruckshin. ;)

    Sam Mcgruff! He hates being called mcgruff which is why it's a good surname :rolleyes:

    I can't think of one for Max :(

    I don't believe they have any, which is part of their bizarre Purcell charm. But if I had to give them surnames it would be Sam Spayed and Max Pain.

    My guess is that they have regular last names.

    Samuel Hill and Maxwell Smith.

    Maybe Max's middle and last names are "Little" and "Buddy"?

    They don't have last names, obviously.

    But if I had to give them last names, I'd take the laziest route possible and say they're Sam Ewell and Max Imilian. :p

    Maybe Sam and Max are their Surnames rather than first names.
    They could be called Sultry Sam and Mad Max(sorry it's the best I could think of).

    Damn. I was coming here to see if Sam had a last name. In my mind I always called him "Sam Spade" -- it sounds very 1930's Detective-ish.
