Hearing a lot about Diablo 3. Is it really that good? Looks very repetetive to me.
Talking about other companies games in Telltales forum feels a bit like eating a Big Mac inside a Burger King.
Do I have any reason not to? I disapprove of poor, improper, and incorrect usage of language. There's no reason why a meaningless word can't be used as a personal pronoun as long as it's used grammatically.
Yeah, thanks, that was a good correction because the mix-up of mote and moat might cause some confusion. Be advised that generally, we don't correct spelling here. There are a lot of non Native speakers on these boards and they tend to make mistakes. Also, we have vision impaired posters using speech to text technology (among them moderatrice divisonten!). Correcting everything would mean that we would scarcely talk about anything else (like, the game). Also, we have quite a few linguists around and you might earn a lecture (sixth post onward) if you come across as too derogative towards people who supposedly use the language "wrong".

However since most people don't really understand what that means I often put it in simpler terms. And I do try to let most things slip by (unless someone is annoying me and I'm feeling petty) because everyone makes mistakes (myself included) and an internet forum isn't exactly expected to be held to the same standard as doctoral thesis. But the "mote" thing, as you said, was a pretty significant change in meaning that I couldn't let slip. I just hope that it was taken in the spirit it was intended: that of friendly correction and not of trolling.
Am I the only TWD fan that doesn't like this? Too slow, far too much description. I did get audiobook though so maybe its better to read.
I did both and found the audio version to be a little less compelling (Also listened to it after reading the book), parts of it really stalled out and the guys voice became a little annoying:mad:, but still it was pretty alright. Definitely NOT the best use of Kirkman's IP so far (even the book):(

I cried Lol, no.. it was definitely taken in the spirit intended. I can't believe I made such a petty mistake! I ain't no grammar expert but homophone mistakes like that drive me bonkers! (and "there", "their", "they're" and "your", "you're" mistakes! oh and "to", "two", "too" lol :P) Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go clean some motes out of my moat
Well, I'm impatient but I'm not going to rant... Here are my suggestions for those of you waiting patiently, or even like me impatiently but civil enough to not rave and/or cry.
Play through Episode 1 again.. or again again for some of us heh
Play a few rounds of COD or BF3
Take that girlfriend or boyfriend out to a nice dinner because you have possibly neglected her while you rant on these forums for the new episode
Get drunk... Come on, games are more fun to play when you are intoxicated so prepare yourself!
Download the ap "Don't press the red button" for your tablet, funny stuff but remove it after the first time through
I played Book of Unwritten Tales and really had a lot of fun. Minecraft is something I love to play on occasion, same as Mount and Blade. I found Dungeon Keeper 2 which I had not played in about 10 years. I am pretty sure that is abandonware now, a really great game I miss Bullfrog. I read Stephen Kings book, which is part of the Dark Tower.
