Just saw this video, someone choosing silence or letting the timer run out at every opportunity. Paints a very weird Lee. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVFxpkBzJwM

Thanks Jake & others for watching, hope u enjoy them.
I plan to do the same for every episode. :)

I do hope that they will make an ending that really show a result to his silence, this one just didn't make sense. :)

I also put together a music video too. just love the game. Thanks to someone I went & get it.

just for vold if you choose to be silent in all possible conversations in all future episodes then the final episode will unlock a secret ending where Lee becomes a Mime
  • edited May 2012

Technically, ur character is silent when ur playing him, lol
well except for the last mission, apparently he can't keep his mouth shut. :)

anyway here's the music video of MW3
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yixYFTdxemE

Had 4 scenes, but only 3 chorus... choices choices...
Was going to make a TWD video with this song too, actually I plan to try to make 1 for any game I think possible.
Love the lines for various stories, I made 1 for Mass Effect 3 & Deus Ex:Human Revolution

link to the Campaign (Veteran difficulty, except the 1st mission)
is in the end of the video. I hope. :D

I was just trying out the 1st mission, before I decided, eh lets go all in. :D

In the Police Car in episode 1 I also chose alot of silent options. It actually makes the narrative better, because as the player I wasn't sure what I was answering towards. It also gives it the tense, thick atmosphere in some scenes. In others I choose silence because what has transpired was so horrible saying anything at all would be entirely stupid.

When the Police asked me if I did it I chose silence as well. I didn't know what I did, how could I respond? When he asked me if I want to know how he sees it, I said not really. Then when he made the comment about my wife I also chose silence.

In Ep2. When Andrew asked me if I didn't hear the bell for supper I chose silence, because I was stunned he caught me. Some of the other answers were insane, considering if it was real life I wouldn't know if he would flat out assault me.

Silence throughout the entire game would be awkward however, but it has it purposes for atmosphere and the narrative or difficult happenings.

    in my regular playthrough

if i recall correctly in ep1
i kept quiet when the cop say i married the wrong woman

another time was in the drug store when kenny & larry were fighting, i wanted to try to get everyone to work together
i know that may b impossible, but hey :)

    ep2 haven't stayed silent yet :)

there was a convo i said i try to b civil to mark, i didnt hear what they were talking about, lol

The Silent Treatment, all silent & various death scenes is just to explore what is made for us to see that people most likely avoided instinctively
    :)

lol at the comment from youtube it does seem like the main character from a japanese game

I just played the Silent Treatment all the way through in EP1 and EP2 and it is really interesting how the game play's out. The worst part was sitting there watching Clem eat the meat!

I've only used silence once in both episodes, it was just after Shawn had been killed by walkers at Hershel's farm. The other options were to blame myself, blame Kenny or say it was nobody's fault, I stayed silent and Hershel said "You don't need to say anything, at least you tried to save him". T'was perfect for the mood.

Perhaps instead of watching youtube videos of people playing your game you should sort out the problem with European PS3 users not being able to play said game which they've already payed for. Alternatively; some information as to why this is happening, when we'll get to play it or who is at fault would be brilliant.

FYI, this thread was made last month, long b4 the so called "problem" occured...

the final video for silent treatment is up
sorry can't post the link by phone,

u can find it on my channel via the previous silent treatment links
    :)

    Hah.

They should have an achievement for this, call it "Man of few words" and make it unlock a crowbar and an orange HEV suit for Lee.
  • edited July 2012
If he gets any more silent, Clem's gonna run around him screaming "HEY! HEY! LISTEN! WAKE UP! HEY! LISTEN! HEY!"
  • edited July 2012
lol, replace the axe with a crowbar or have a separate crowbar?
    :D

He's already stated he has a team working on the issue, meaning others are working even when he's not. Not to mention you don't know when he found this. For all we know, Jake could have found the video at home or during a lunchbreak.

Wow, I've just commented how I've enjoyed my silent indecisive coward Lee playthrough in another thread and then I see this...... I enjoy the reactions you get and sometimes you'll get some interesting information i.e Jolene in the camp......

The Silent Treatment is awkward. Sometimes Lee automatically talks to characters and then he is completely silent. I have not seen the whole video, but I am guessing this will not go over well long term.
  • edited July 2012
its just fun to watch, btw
in this video, i only include moments where we can choose to be silent & anything else based on choices i made in ep 1

also i include the many ways lee can die in the game for anyone to watch, especially those who never loses b4
    :D

will post the link later when i get back home for easier access to anyone who's interested in watching
    :)

PS, i love the barn encounter with Andy via this method of play, lol

    Yeah, I got that too.

Because of these vids I realized that silence is a valid option. I pick it most often now in replays.

It gets you out of tight jams
  • edited July 2012
I got that one too! I knew I didn't have anything on him - it was just a slaughterhouse, so just tried to glare at him. "Weird guy" indeed.

When dealing with annoying people, like the cop in episode 1, silence is awesome. However I remember when Larry wanted Duck out the pharmacy, I was conflicted over the last option and I truly couldn't pick a choice, and that's when the silence option yielded Katjaa saying "he wasn't bitten. There's no bite."

That was pretty cool. Even saw rare moment of Larry saying sorry to Kenny.
  • edited July 2012
Nice job with this, Vold. I never had a chance to opt to silence in my play-throughs.

    Clem fuses with Navi

    with

Gamings Most Annoying Tutorial/Exposition Fairy. Who you want to use as a Fishing Lure.
