As someone raised on a farm I found it incredulous that the St. John's mention they don't even know what's wrong their last cow?!
What the hell kind of diary farmer cannot even tell a cow is pregnant but that it's about to birth it's calf?!
The majority of farmers should be able to help deliver the offspring of their livestock without the aid of a vet, unless of course there are major complications.
Cannibalism I can just about forgive but incompetence by fellow farmers,no!
I just wonder if they meant something else, Lee does mention that the cow looks skinny.
Seriously, Maybelle even has her own character page in the wiki, which I found awfully cute. They had to leave in a hurry, it's true, but leaving the cows behind (with a vet in their group!), that might have been a bit stupid.
I think they had too leave it behind, I think it might of slowed the group down to get it to come with them. Plus it was pregnant too so I might of wanted to stay put.
Bill: Dude, check it out! There's a cow behind that fence.
Peter: Aw yeah, I see it.
Bill: Dude, we can eat that cow.
Peter: What?
Bill: Dude, come on! We can totally eat that cow. We could, we could do it, man, we could. It'll be so easy man, it'll take like a minute.
Peter: Could it really be that fast?
Bill: Peter, that cow could be in our stomaches in like one minute. And then we could, and then, we could do other stuff.
Peter: Oh right, I'm starved. Let's do it.
