[SPOILER] How the hell did he do that?

1. In Crawford, when Lee goes back after killing the zombie doctor and taking the tape, he teleports himself back into the old school. It took a way on the truck then on the roofs, and a jump, to get back to the school previously. As he came there after climbing a shelf and through another rooftop... HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT?

2. The lock of "Logan" which is supposed to have a combination is mysteriously opened after you watched the first two tapes, without any combination. HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT? Is that related to the paper he found on the doc?

(edit: I said Jason, it was Logan, related to first reply)

3. Chuck was fighting with a shovel, then he is in the sewers, with a magnum?? HOW THE HELL did he open the sewer entrance without a Hilda? And HOW THE HELL did he get a magnum?

Yeah, the locker suddenly being open (it was Logan by the way) is the only thing that confused me. The sudden cut-to back into the school was just Telltale saving the player time and avoiding backtracking, which I have no problem with.

Except that the tool used to open the garage door was removed, and you did not have Hilda anymore. So you had no way to go back on your path... So 'saving time' can't be a reasonable explanation to getting out miraculously of a deadly trap xD

For the locker at least, yeah, it has to do with the paper you find on the doctor. Lee mentions that it's too many numbers to be the code for the safe--which is because it's the combination code for the locker. When you watch the first tape in the nurse's office, the doctor introduces himself as "Logan", which is supposed to be the clue.

To answer #2 I can't remember it clearly but I do remember Lee saying something like "Christa said the lock combination had only 4 digits, but this combo has more than 4 digits" I can't remember exactly where he said that but when he said that I knew immediately to go to the locker and he was able to open it.

    (OP here)

yes indeed Lee said about the paper he found after killing the doc-zombie that the numbers were too long. And I did expect them to open the lock of Logan. But it was a bit too rushed up, he just opened it by watching at it. One mystery solved, two more to go :)

As we all know, as soon as you know the code for a locker, you can instantly open it; this saved me a lot of time in high school.

At any rate, yeah, I feel like this episode was just a bit rushed - there are some typos here and there, and some vaguely nonsensical things that it seems TTG just didn't have the time or will to work out/correct.

If I agree a few things were a bit rushed (I also did not figure out those timers in conversations you could just restart to explore all the lines), this is highly balanced by the fact this is the most polished episode we had

Very weak plot holes...nothing concrete here I can give logical answers for all three:

    1) The first time zombies trapped him in the garage... this time there were no zombies so he could of just hopped over the chain link fence back...

    2) He finds the combo and the blood made him suspicious first. I agree not the most creative writing but it makes sense

    3) There are plenty of open pipes into the sewers, probably went in there expecting to be safe... how did the zombies get down there? He could of found the magnum or had it the whole time... there were other survivors. You also see multiple dead bodies in the sewer so maybe one of them dropped it.

THE REAL PLOT HOLE HERE IF THERE IS ONE IS THE GUY THAT CREEPS BEHIND LEE WHEN HE IS WALKING TO GET THE CAR BATTERY??? WHO IS THAT? VERNON WAS IN THE NURSES OFFICE, COULD OF BEEN MOLLY BUT IT LOOKED LIKE A MAN. ALSO IS VERNON THE GUY ON THE CONTROLLER THE WHOLE TIME??? STILL VERY CONFUSED WITH THAT.

I have answered this before. It was simply Molly..

Nice screen shots, but is vernon then the man who was watching Lee from the gate AND talking to Clementine. If that is the case, which it seems to be I find that to be pretty spotty and takes away the plot the slightest bit

Why would it be Vernon? What's up with peoples totally wrong guesses. I mean it makes no sense.... Vernon has a totally different voice. And Vernon is actually a nice guy, has his own people to care for and isn't some creeper who tries to lure little girls to him.

And don't you think Clem would have noticed his voice after all they talked about?

Plus... Vernon doesn't have brown hair

But, one thing that this episode didn't have that I experienced in other episodes, there wasn't any glitches. Also, heard no complaints of glitches in this episode. So, that's good on TTG's part :D

Although, there is those corrupted saves ._.

    Actually....

If you click on the camcorder when it's empty after watching the third tape. Vernon's disembodied voice calls out that it has to be around there somewhere.

Those aren't problems for me. Chuck probably didn't have much ammo left, so was conserving it. Lee says it's empty, when he picks it up, and Chuck must have left the last bullet for himself. Which leads to how did Clem get ammo for it. Either her hat gives her infinite ammo, or Lee's back pockets are big enough to carry everything, for every eventuality. He probably already had a battery, or even a working boat, if he only he had taken the time to search deep enough.

I am pretty sure it is the leader of the group that was holed up in that area that is talking to clementine. You could see his picture somewhere and he seems like a big enough creep and someone who would get himself out of there at the cost of everyone else.

No, that guy was the zombie hanging from the bell.

Hmm color me wrong then :) Didn't even think of that :)

You can get sewer lids off without named +1 maces, bro. Chuck was a man's man. He hoisted that 150 pound baby right off and tossed it to the side, then broke his shovel over some 20 walkers.

After it broke, he killed 5 more walkers before popping himself in the face.

RIP Chuck. The bell tolled for thee. :(

I'd say he had it all the time, to for himself.

He's been by himself long enough to find one eventually & with the world the way it is, one might keep one for themselves like Jack Sparrow being stranded on an island...

Well, don't you remember the zombies knocking over that one fence? I guess he did go that way. Though it's kinda stupid for him to climb up that shed again and over that other fence.
But yeah, I guess he just walked over the knocked fence and did go another way back into the school.

How come Chuck didn’t run around the block and come back to the house? There weren’t many walkers attacking them. Going into dark sewers is a pretty risky choice I think.

Sense this is the how the hell did he do that thread, how the hell did that walker that bit Lee propel itself into the air to bite Lee anyway? It can't jump!
  • Also, how the hell did Logan's tapes get back in his locker when the tape that is found in the locker shows him getting killed (and we assume that's how crawford is overrun by walkers.)
