This is going to be long so bear with me here. That is you Rock, well I see who you like now, Nate was a great character and hopefully should be in the future of the Walking Dead, now on to what I have to say. I was conflicted about what I should rank this, I liked the characters and got attached to them, not as much as Lee Clem and Kenny but still I liked them. I knew it would be short so that did not annoy me as much as I thought it would. My main problems are as follows, I came into the DLC looking for answers and by that I meant stuff like what happened to Christa and Omid, were is Clementine, who is on the hill and is Kenny still alive? I was hoping one of those questions would be answered but none of them were. I was happy to find out Vernon's fate but that was not my main focus. I would have liked to see a few more call backs to Lee's story, I was happy with the cameo of the drug store, Carley's body and the cancer survivors but maybe just a bit more would have been nice. The ending could have been a bit better with them showing how the survivors met but it's only a minor problem. I guess I came in with a different mind set then I should have. All in all I am happy with by buying of 400 Days so my final score is 8.9 out of ten, which is strange as IGNorant gave it the same number. My favorite story has to be Wyatt, because the back and forth between he and Eddie was all to similar to my friend on X box 360, I even called him Eddie today by accident. This post is more then likely to big by now so I am done now.
Pros: Solid voice work, solid writing, tense situations, a decent balance of the stories, some interesting new characters (Shel and Bonnie especially), great set design
Cons: Buggy at times, the male characters still feel a bit underdeveloped, a few choices with flimsy payoffs, too short
There is potential to follow through with what has been set up. I have a suspicion that this is an audition for a lead character (though there could be someone entirely new we don't know about), but there is potential. Shel and Bonnie were my favorites and I'd love to see them keep going. While I did like qualities of the male characters, they need some more development to round out their emotional qualities more. They've been presented as tough or cowardly or whatever, but we still need to see more of the caring side to them like we saw with the women or even Lee from Season 1.
I am intrigued though. I just am curious how Season 2 will play out.
I give it a 7 out of 10, mainly because of how short the stories were.
Characters were great though, loved the tension so hopefully we get to know the characters more in Season 2 (:
9/10. It was a brilliant, emotional DLC and one of Telltale's best, but I'd have liked it to be longer. It ended as soon as I began to get to know the characters. I really hope they return for Season 2.
8/10
It was good but a bit short and I felt that Vince and Wyatt had barely any time and the massive 130 day gap between Shel and the Epilogue kind of makes us feel like we don't understand the characters at all...
It was a good episode and I was really pleased with Shel and Russel but a bit shorter than a normal episode of the walking dead...
8/10
Pros:
-The choices were difficult
-the price was reasonable
-I liked the intersecting story aspect
-Interesting characters
Cons:
-Short length of certain sections (Vince/Bonnie)
-The epilogue was a bit abrupt, could have used more interaction between the various characters.
-The Reunited achievement, an established tragic event rubbed in my face, I was surprisingly offended. YOU WOUND ME TELLTALE!
I owned all 5 episodes. I was super duper excited when They are releasing 400 days. I YouTube the walkthrough (not to cheat) but to watch the game.
Rating: 8.5
Pro: the choices were difficult and they created interesting characters.
Con: the game is too short. I can finish it in 10 mins.
I didn't buy the game when it was released on iOS. The game is too short. Personally I don't think it worth 5 bucks at all. I will wait till price drops for that game
I am sure it takes more then ten minutes, how long the whole Episode is I do not know but ten minutes, really, I think any of the story's are ten minutes.
Shel's episode is my big gripe, the main choice felt wrong. Why would you kill your friend without questioning her?
The Tavia character and scene was kind of a let down, the characters had somehow met up and were just chilling around a campfire? Not the exciting conclusion I was expecting from a "Pulp Fiction style wrap up", and the only reason I care about getting the group to the settlement is maybe that's where Clementine ended up and I want to see her again.
With that criticism aside, I really liked a lot of the different situations and aspects 400 days brought to the table. Some of the characters were interesting, likable, or hilarious (Nate). Technically, you guys really created some fun experiences and a good atmosphere. I can't wait to see how you apply this kind of stuff to Season 2, with Clem and other characters we have more time to grow to like.
So I finally finished it (after some tech difficulties) but I would give it a strong 9/10.
Good stories, with a clear transition into Season 2. Cant wait to play season 2.
After playing the game and seeing other people play I can say I really liked it! So I am in the 8-10 crowd. I get the complaints people have of it, the stories are really short and you can't connect with the characters like we did in season one. But I don't think we are supposed to. This was a $5 DLC and a optional episode. So for what it is supposed to do It is fantastic.
A lot of people are saying this is a "Right" "Wrong" choice system, but we don't know what is to come in season 2 Anywho.. here is going into season two, and can't wait to see what come out of this.
Hello everyone. This is the first time I've ever joined a game forum and talked about a game. Telltell games.... it's because you are genuinely the first videogame that has ever made me genuinely connect with and weirdly have feelings for the characters ( in 20 years ). The 1st episode for free on x-box got me hooked. If it wasn't for that I would not have tried it as i dont care for the tv series.
Ok.... i found 400 days to be a little lacklustre. It is setting us up to have a great deal more dlc no doubt. I personally thought that most of the characters stories were too short and greatly uninvolving, which for me is where this genre gets you. In my opinion the original managed to make you emotionally attached to the characters making you want to play the game.
I wonder if this is a mass marketing ploy...develope lots of characters and their own sub plots and then after this one do individual dlc. That'd be a lot of work but good money for them and potential fun for us. If they continue the way they did in this first 400 days then i will find it hard to relate to the characters as there is not enough time with each person, thus preventing you from developing a proper attachment to that character. As a first time poster I'd appreciate responses to my comment just to see what you think? Personally, I'm much more interested in the developments of Clementine's story as in the role of Lee, she was the one I was emotionally invested in. What do you think guys? And apologies in advance for rambling but i love this game!!!!!
I still want to know what happened to Clem, Christa and Omid, Kenny if he is alive, just like everyone I am sure, but I do want to know what becomes of the 400 Day's cast because I for one did become attached to them, not on Lee and Clem level, but I did like them quite a bit.

You should give the comics a read, even if you aren't a big comic fan it is good, way better than the show IMO and I feel the game and the comic are both equally awesome, and the game is set in the comic universe anyway.
I'd give it a 6.
Each episode was far too short and just felt like this dlc was a collection of leftovers from season 1.
400 days was OK but as others have said it didn't hold up to any of the previous episodes.
It could have been fantastic if it was based around just one scenario for its entirety. Let's just hope this method of story telling isn't used in season 2!
Strange, I never found one bug, and the lag between the scenes was really reduced, so why did IGN still say it's a buggy mess, I know why, because they are IGNnorant.

Buuuuurrrrrrn.
But anyway, I only encountered one bug. When I hid from Nate Carley's corpse was levitating from the ground lol
I do believe that Telltale made 400 Days a lot more stable then the main game, which means the Wolf Among Us and Season 2 will be be much more stable, and they even said on twitter that the save bug is no longer around.
I didn't like the DLC for many reasons. It is far from having Telltale's TWD standards.
The timeline would have been a great idea if you were able to relate a little to any of the characters (every one of them has 20 minutes approx.). I can't get into the mind of a character in 20 minutes. At least Vince and Shel has some introduction; Wyatt, Russel and Bonnie are straight on the road, ready to make choices and mistakes even if you don't know something about them.
Vince is nicely introduced and his part starts Day 2. So that's ok for me.
Shel is also introduced with all her overprotective comments before her part really starts. I know what's her goal.
I don't know much about Bonnie and her group. What's Bonnie's goal?
What happened before Wyatt and his friend hit the road? He is also "very hard" to "roleplay" because he's dumb. It could have been interesting with some context but the DLC lacks it.
What happened to Russel? What is he looking for? Where does he come from?
Nate was the star of the show.
But overall, absolutely no emotion, no real surprise... I don't know, I was able to understand how to play Lee really quickly, I had emotions in episode 1...
They know a lot of things you don't and I didn't like that. As Lee, you started from scratch and were able to "make" his personnality within situations new to him. Here, I only met people who know what is happening and know what to do.
I can't relate to people spending 400 days in this mess within 20 minutes. Not a really good experience.
I disagree quite a bit...
Bonnie's goal? To survive. It's not like every person you come across is heading somewhere. Also, while we're on Bonnie, she was not making decisions seconds in... If you count the snake tongue... Just... Just why? It's not making decisions, it's 'would you rather'. She actually had my favorite intro aside from Vince.
For Wyatt and Eddie, you really don't need to have been there before they were on the road, you get pretty good context for them. They were involved with a couple of guys, they were scared, Eddie shot one of them. They booked. Also, you don't need to roleplay a character for them to be good. Wyatt was my favorite character because you felt like you knew him the best. Also, Deadpool is a pretty awesome protagonist, and he is the dumbest character on the face of the planet.
For Russel, you learn about him at a good pace. You learn that he's going to Statesboro, whether you say it or not, now you know. You learn all of that stuff in time. Mainly because this is a series of introductions. It's about learning about the characters.
As for the no emotion, they did pretty well for 15 minute intros. I had a ton of trouble in Shel's story on her decision. Vince too, and Russel, and Wyatt, not so much on Bonnie-but that's beside the point. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The only thing I wished there was more of was the transition from the individual stories to the epilogue. That's the only reason it doesn't get a 10 in my book. Even then, it gets a 9.5.
10/10 A new awesome experience, like they said action than a puzzle.. and I can't wait for the season 2.... new characters meets the old characters of season 1..
I'd give it high markings. The only thing I disliked. Just when you were thrown into one storyline, it started to get interesting right as the ending was near. I understand it being DLC, why it wasn't more fulfilled shows. Yet it wasn't sloppy, the people showed emotion and it made for a great storyline. I'd say 10/10

Great DLC, For some reason I really didnt like Wyatt's story plus there was a few glitchs but mostly great

+ got to deal with some hard choices
- lacks depth

Short, Sweet and Very Intense !
It had zombies. 10/10 best DLC episode I ever played
Though to be serious I would say 7.5/10 still a great addition, but I never got enough time to connect with all the characters, sadly.
Didn't last long, but I'm hoping those that join me really impacts S2.
I liked it a lot. I'd say 8.5/10

Yeah, please no. Stick to one main character, if they say 5 I'm gonna flip!

Vince story-10
Bonnie -7

Wyatt -9
Shell -8
