He's at least 18, thats considered a man. All I know if i was in his situation I would have Shot Nate when he handed me the gun in the pickup to reload it after the walker incident. I would have said "Pull over I need to go toilet" then when he stops the car..... BANG.

I think so too... but in real situation, would you be to shoot a living person? And if Yes, than you better than he? If so, then maybe let's kill this grandpa from gas station?
Showed he a weakness? Yes. If he kept his own soul? Yes.
It's exactly like Shel's situation. Do you remember her condition after (if) she kills Stephanie?

Well no one truly knows how they would react in that situation but I play the game the way I think I would react and I think I would Kill Nate and that it would be justified because he just tried to kill me, and no i wouldn't kill the old people once I realised it was a misunderstanding.

I agree, In this point, the game puts us "bandwagon" after I tried to kill Nate I realized that I don't have complete control of the character, this is an amazing course I think.
Let's realize that I (we) tried to do. We tried to kill a man shot in the nape ( before he turned), and who we are after that? I feel that lack of Clementine (moral compass) strongly affected by me a without it, I as if released from the chains that kept my rage and anger , and I became angrier, and at this moment Russell refuses to fulfill my "order", it's just awesome!

I feel the opposite, when I tell Russell to shoot nate then he won't do it, it completely takes me out of the experience because I no longer have control at all,it might as well be a linear game story like uncharted that i watch rather then control. I hope stuff like it doesn't happen again.

You hear the gun click. Like it jammed or something.

When the hell does he try to kill you? He puts you in the situation with the walker because he knows you won't die. Then he saves your goddamned life.

Wasn't it the same gun Russell and Nate use to shoot back at whoever was shooting at them?

    Yes.

Seriously, Russell could have easily been bitten, he obviously isn't that strong and also he never gives you cover when you run the first time. Thats twice he nearly got you killed.

You even can not imagine how I was disappointed that the game would not let me kill Nate.
We all know that the first playthrough it's a "true" playthrough . That is how we play the first time, so we would react in reality. (theoretically)

    I tried to kill Nate.

I told the truth for Lelend, to cause him MORE pain.

    I killed Stephanie.

Playing in the first season, I even could not imagine that I would become such, but rather the absence of a "moral compass" showed my true nature.

Maybe Telltale made this "bandwagon" the situation with Nate., to tell us: "Hey, Hey, you know what you're going to? Don't you think that you have gone TOO far?"

Or I just have a very high opinion about the developers of the game?

Only if the window broke, and he knew the window wasn't gonna break from a single walker leaning on it. The only time he pusses out is when he doesn't cover you... Then he covers you immediately afterwards.

Probably a bit of both! :D

I didn't hear gun click, but if it's true, it really makes a difference. Thanks for info. I'll check it out.

If a guy pushes me off a cliff then pulls me back up when i'm hanging on I'm gonna be pissed that he pushed me not grateful that he pulled me back up.

Then our minds work differently, I guess.

Agreed, moral of the story don't try and get me killed in the ZA or i'll put a bullet in your head the first chance I get. :D

By the way, Glock 17 does not have a fuse. So I don't understand what it was, why pistol didn't shot? BUT, it's means that Russell really tried to kill Nate (on my order)

Was the safety on? I don't know how guns work though...
  • edited September 2013
    Yup.
  • edited September 2013
    That would explain it.

Then from the looks of it Nate was testing Russell to see if he would shoot him in the back after the walker fiasco, maybe?
  • edited September 2013
No, I told you that G17 doesn't have a fushe. You press the trigger and the gun shoots. And the clip was full. So I have no idea why Nate pistol didn't shoot.

Maybe it's because...Nate will appear in Season 2?

    Dun dun duunnnn!

I don't buy the jamming thing, Russell chickened out of pulling the trigger is all then Nate snatched gun off him
  • edited September 2013
    Then it was faulty?

I guess it works well with Nate's personality, it's unpredictable just like the owner.
  • edited September 2013
    I heard a click.

No, that was gun click, trust me.

Yeah, I looked at a video and he does actually pull the trigger, I heard a click too.

Yeah maybe, but the semi-automatic pistols have a very small chance to misfire about 3% not more, so Ben's rights: "Nate will appear in Season 2

    Dun dun duunnnn!" :D

    Who the fuck is Russell?

    Russel: redeemed-stamp.gif
  • Howe could he be worse then Ben, I liked Ben anyway so I fail to see the hate, I think both Russel and Nate made that chapter so good.

  • I have no idea. For all his failings, I liked Ben too.

  • Me to, he reminded me way to much of me, how could I hate a more screw up version of myself?

  • Derail.

Have gravatar; I can select it, but it doesn't show up here. OH NOES! I'll work it out.

Hang on a minute, where are the emoticons?!

Me to, he reminded me way to much of me, how could I hate a more screw up version of myself?

  • I got no idea on what emoticons are.

  • Smileys! :)

I'm just gonna have to be Biff until my gravatar sorts it's shit out.

I got no idea on what emoticons are.

  • Ben and Russell - the most realistic characters in the game.
