Maybe there were more of them and they took Clem and Danielle. Most likely the girls escaped from the horde, probably into the woods. So: we need a plan."
"Can we just stay here at the car?" says Dave. "We don't have clothes and we are freezing..."
Suddenly Kenny jumps at him, grabbing him at the collar of his coat, as he yells: "Are you fucking serious, mister?! We risked our lifes for you strange guys and even one good kid died because of this and you want to stay here and make a picknick?! Or probably stealing our car?! It is MY daughter who decided to save you and you want to stay here?! I will k...-"

Is that a good title? I was thinking about the whole Tavia situation and how she's gonna use Clem and Danielle for her "Evil Plans" (evil laugh inbound). And we do have some new group members, so we don't know how that might turn out.
but Kenny was in a rage and he punched Dave straight in the jaw.
"Kenny stop!" Pascucci screamed pulling him back. Dave clutched his jaw and backed away slowly spitting out blood.
"Asshole" He mumbled. Once Kenny calmed down Pascucci spoke.
"This is not the time or the place, I'll go into the woods with Dave and try and find Clem and Danielle, Kenny stay here with Jeremy and Gus, I looked earlier and theres some clothes in the back of the car, they're old and might not fit you but its better than nothing, oh and theres only one outfit".
Everyone nodded. Kenny was impressed with Pascucci's take of leadership.
"Sounds like a plan I guess" He breathed.
Episode 4: Traitor Within

I'm not sure it'll work, seeing as the entire episode won't be about Tavia, and Dave seems like a good guy as he and Jeremy go way back. I think betrayal just won't be the main theme of this episode.

Considering that Episode 3 was a very eventful episode and Episode 5 will be the finale maybe 4 can be Calm Before the Storm or just Before the Storm. I like Cry for Peace aswell

The three men guarded the car in silence. Several noises could be heard coming from the dark forest around them. The night was clear, and a cold breeze let the near naked men shiver.
''I think it's better if you two stay in the car, it's a lot warmer.'', Kenny suggested.
The two men silently agreed. They got into the car and hugged each other to stay as warm as possible. The two men were uncomfortable, but had gone through worse before. Kenny stood guard with his pistol in hand, carefully examining his surroundings. He felt bad for punching Dave, but couldn't help but feel slightly angry at him.

Clementine had been eyeing on Tavia for a while now. She seemed unusually aware of her surroundings. The woman shadily looked around and kept a close eye on Clementine, who had been covering their backs. The inexperienced Danielle walked in between them, she was complaining about all sorts of things, like she wasn't used to the harsh life after more than a year of survival.
''I'm pretty sure I saw some light over this way, if we're lucky, there might be some good people over there.'', Tavia said in a happy tone.
Clementine didn't trust her. The woman's shady behavior didn't seem to fit her happy tone and everlasting smile. Something was off, but Clem couldn't quite put her finger on it. She looked around, and listened to the mysterious sounds of the dark forest.
''Tavia, I think I--''
Clementine's sentence was cut off by the sound of an exploding skull, followed by guts spraying on the snowy floor. Two silhouettes ran out of the bushes, yelling at the group. Who are they? Clementine asked herself. As the men came closer their speech became understandable.
''Clementine, run!''
''Pascucci!?'', Clementine recognized the deep voice.
Her body was frozen in fear, Danielle and Tavia were just as confused and soon the group found themselves surrounded by a horde of walkers. Pascucci and a man unknown to her ran out into the field. Pascucci grabbed Clementine and told Danielle to run. He was just about to help Tavia when he noticed an odd expression in Dave's face.
''Dave?'', Pascucci was panicked, ''Dave? We've gotta get out of here!''
Dave didn't listen. His mind was blurry and his instincts took over. He charged at Tavia, pinning her to the ground. He repeatedly punched her, blood was running from her nose. She finally found the strength to fight back and pushed him off of her. She grabbed her gun and proceeded to shoot Dave, right between the eyes.
The rest of the group witnessed the fight and were shocked by Tavia's sudden move. Danielle started crying in fear, and Clementine aimed her gun to shoot.
''She'll die anyway.'', Pascucci stopped Clementine, ''We have to go.''

Clementine is suspicious but is willing to set that aside for now. Tavia slipped up a bit in logical thinking so she will probably have to improvise if it comes to it.

Clementine, still aiming her gun, angrily looks at Tavia running away from the walkers. After a few seconds she shoots but the bullet hits a tree.
"Stop it now!" grunts Pascucci, dragging Clementine away in a gruff way as the walkers are coming closer. While running away Tavia's yelling voice can be heard from behind. "You better pray we never meet again. Ever!". Only a few seconds later a male voice appears, only just saying "Tavia, is that you? Are you alright...?". Pascucci, who's carrying Danielle, makes a nervous remark. "This is not good.. Clementine, run ahead to the car and warn them - we need either a trailer or a second car. We don't fit in the jeep. Your gun is loaded, isn't it. Go!".

"Was that a gunshot?" remarks Kenny, pointing Charlie's rifle to the west, where the noise came from. But after a minute he lowers it. I am probably just tired. Then he reminds himself the optimistic words spoken by Pascucci before he disappeared in the woods. "Calm down.. they are probably hiding in the woods" he said. He better be damn right says Kenny to himself, starting to think about what to do next. We are seven persons but we only have five seats. Gotta get away from this place. It's not safe here. Right this moment a walker approaches and Kenny strikes its head off with the butcher knife.
Then he heads towards the car, opening the back door, saying "Cold or not - we helped you and you'll help us."
"What is it?" asks Gus, straining his coat tighter to his chest.
"I've seen that trailer a few steps from here, at the barricade. We gotta hook it up to our van." says Kenny, scratching his back.
"Was it white and green coloured?" asks Gus excitedly. Kenny replies: "Yupp. Looked a bit rusty but still better than nothing".
"No way! This is my trailer! Let's go get it!".
"Alrighty, Gus, just calm down. Someone has to stay here in case Pascucci and Dave return, hopefully with the girls. You will do it, Jeremy. Gus and I will go get the trailer." instructs Kenny.
"Don't get mad, Kenny, but... I am freezing. It better doesn't take too much time, okay?"
"It won't. And let me give you one advice, pal: we don't have any other clothes in petto. You can borrow some from the bodies laying around, though. I don't think they mind anymore. Good luck.". The engine starts and the jeep drives towards the barricade. Only a few flames in the distance remind of the enormous hellfire. First Jeremy just stands around, feeling abandoned, lonely and useless. His whole body shivers more and more until his teeth begin to chatter. I cannot just take clothes from these monsters. Only a minute later he tosses his ethics overboard and he examines the bodies. First he grabbed some clothes for himself and Dave, then for Gus. But then the scavenging becomes an obsession. Eventually he collected a bunch of outfits for the whole group. Jeremy decides to dress himself in blue jeans, a white shirt and an olive green buttoned shirt with longsleeves. With the boots and the coat which he had before he is now fully dressed. Much better. In the distance he can see the headlights from the jeep coming nearer, as a young voice yells at him.
"Hands up! Don't move!" Jeremy slowly turns around. "Clementine, is that you? Where is the rest?". She lowers the gun, replying with a question.
"Where is the car?! We gotta get out of here, now! Where is it?!"
"Don't panick, Clementine, it's ok. It's right there. We found a trailer, Kenny and Gus went getting it...-" but Clem breaks in on him.
"Oh THANK god! We have to leave! Pascucci and Danielle will be here soon. There are bad people following us..-".
This time Jeremy interrupts Clem: "Wait a sec, just Pascucci and Danielle? Where is Dave?".
Clem just stands there silently with her mouth open. The engine stops and Kenny and Gus get out of the car. At the same time Pascucci and Danielle show up at the edge of the wood.
"Clementine, I asked you a question:" Jeremy repeats with a shivering voice. "Where is Dave?"
Jeremy looked at Clementine, then at Pascucci and Danielle. The three gave him a grim look, confirming his worst fear. He stared off into the dark forest. The world started spinning around him and Jeremy's body was paralyzed by fear. He started to breath heavily. Gasping for air before finally collapsing to the cold ground beneath him.
''Jeremy!'', Gus swiftly catched the limb body of his fainting friend.
Danielle walked to the car, still weeping over the loss of Dave. Clementine walked over to comfort her, but Pascucci told her not to, stating she needs some time alone. Kenny and Pascucci helped Gus to carry Jeremy back into the car, Danielle had taken the front seat and refused to look at him. Clementine helplessly watched while the three guys hooked up the trailer.
''Clem!'', Kenny shouts in a happy tone, ''Why don't you get into the camper with Dani and Gus?''
She hesitantly looked at the worn-out camper and silently walks over to it. Danielle followed her lead and got into the camper with Gus by her side. The three sat down on the old mattresses and started talking. About Dave, Tavia and the horrors of her cannibalistic settlement before finally switching to a more positive topic.
Danielle eventually took on a smile and said something they could all relate to, ''It's been ages since I've seen a mattress, let alone lay on one.''
Clementine's mood lifted for a while, but Danielle's remark had also brought back a feeling she hadn't felt since the day she saw her undead parents roaming the streets of Savannah. She suddenly lost her will to live. The last one and a half year she had done nothing but surviving, starving and losing the people she cared about. She realized that the world she once lived in was gone, and the people she once loved were now just fading memories. She missed her parents, Duck, Katjaa, Ben, Carley, Doug, Christa and Omid. But most of all, she missed Lee.
I killed him.
The thought kept rushing through her head, chipping away at the last bit of happiness left in her young and innocent mind. It could all end here. Her loaded gun laid right next to her. She didn't deserve to live. She wasn't supposed to live. But against all odds she had survived one and a half years in a world full of flesh-eating monsters and maniacs. She wasn't strong. She wasn't quick. She only survived because Lee was there when she needed it. Ending it now would deem his actions useless. She had to survive, not for herself. But for Lee.

There was someone who said that he keeps saving all comments in a word doc, but he was not a very active member. I just made this super summary, don't know when I will have that much time to save all this. Any other active user interested in making a Backup?

The first part was good. I don't want to appear unfriendly but let's give them some rest finally, they just survived the most dangerous and action filled day so far and here comes another crash. Anyway, maybe we can make something useful of it.

The most important one is to read either the whole story so far (prefered option) or the summary of the story so far on page 26 (takes 10 minutes). 3 hours of driving passed and the sky slowly becomes a little lighter.
"Why haven't you killed her..." asks Jeremy. He leans his head on the left back window, staring on the snowy branches the car passes.
Pascucci sighs and speaks: "I told you, Jeremy - you weren't there. Everything went so quickly. The walkers attacked them and we were trying to help. The girls were in her company, and we used to help strangers. We helped YOU. We could've passed this town and live a happy life. Instead we risked our lives to help you, as Charlie wanted...".
Kenny drops a tear and rubbs his eyes. "Charlie was a good boy. We lost him because he desperately wanted to stay and kill these fuckers, helping you out. Don't act like it was just you who lost someone....". Jeremy cuts him off.
"Dave was my very best friend! I can't just go over it!" Kenny becomes angry: "And Charlie was a little boy! He was just 8 years old! And the bravest thing I've ever met. After I lost Duck he and Clementine were the most important things to me... I had to protect them both no matter what... And I failed...Maybe Jess was right..."
Jeremy eventually feels guilty for blaming the people for his loss. "I am sorry... I .. didn't know this. It's just... I misd him so much... He was the only familiar thing that was left after the world turned into this living hell.."
"I know, Pal... we understand very well..."
Suddenly a crash interrupts them. "Shittt!!" yells Pascucci and stops the car.
"What was that, Pas?". asks Kenny.
Pascucci opens the front door and steps to the back of the car. "The trailer loosened from the hitch."
Gus steps outside the trailer which stands 15 yards away.
"The ground is too snowy and bumpy. I suggest we get some rest and deal with the problem in the noon. It was an exhausting and traumatic day for everybody. I don't think that Tavia and her buddy will find us...."
Clem and Danielle peek out, following the talk.
"I don't think we are alone here..." Suddenly remarks Kenny, pointing at skidmarks in the snow which lead into the wood. A very soft flickering light can be seen.
Pascucci loads his gun: "Everybody into the cars. Kenny, you stay here. Gus, you come with me." and the group follows Pascucci's instructions.
"Can you see it? There's a cabin with a campfire in it. And there is the car..." whispers Gus, pointing with his finger. The roof doesn't seem to be fully intact, as the smoke raises up to the treetops. Only a few seconds later a female voice yells.
"I can see you, aiming right at your heads with my arrow - don't move!".
Pascucci takes a deep breath and speaks: "We don't want to hurt you - please put down the weapons.."
"Oh is that so? So why were you aiming at my campfire? Piss off, you rapist pigs!".
"... the fuck?!" whispers Gus, disbelieving what he just heard.
"Lady: this was a serious insult below the belt. We are not such horrible people but the opposite. We have kids and come in peace..." says Pascucci, vainly trying to find out where the woman is hiding.
"Liars!" she yells when suddenly a kids voice screams: "NO! Don't!". It is Clementine, running into Pascuccis arms and hugging him. Then a slender asian looking woman in her 30s, with long black hair and wearing black winter clothes, slowly steps out from behind the cabin with her mouth widely open.
"I... I am sooo sorry... you really got kids...." she speaks, lowering the arrow, obviously being ashamed of her false accusations. Then Jeremy arrives, gasping for air: "Clem, thank god... Is everything alright?".
"I am sooo sorry." the woman repeats. "Please: come here and accompany me at the campfire. I got plenty of cans to share with you.... there are really kids left in this world...". Relieved she smiles, getting very excited because of happiness. "I am Melody, btw. I used to be a teacher at an elementary school in Savannah before all of this. Please, come in and let's get to know each other!".
The group looks at each other and Pascucci finally says: "Ok, I'll go get Danielle and Kenny. And our jeep - we need to have an eye on our valuable supplies..."

Just a little note, Jeremy says ''Zombies'', which is a term not known in the Walking Dead universe. Other than that, good job.
It is not used often but it was used in episode 1 of season1 actually. I like it when different groups have different terms for the walkers

"Asshole" He mumbled. Once Kenny calmed down Pascucci spoke.
"This is not the time or the place, I'll go into the woods with Dave and try and find Clem and Danielle, Kenny stay here with Jeremy and Gus, I looked earlier and theres some clothes in the back of the car, they're old and might not fit you but its better than nothing, oh and theres only one outfit".
Everyone nodded. Kenny was impressed with Pascucci's take of leadership.
"Sounds like a plan I guess" He breathed.
I like it actually. We got a lot of suggestions. So...?
I'm not sure it'll work, seeing as the entire episode won't be about Tavia, and Dave seems like a good guy as he and Jeremy go way back. I think betrayal just won't be the main theme of this episode.

Seems to me that Kenny went a bit cray cray.
Considering that Episode 3 was a very eventful episode and Episode 5 will be the finale maybe 4 can be Calm Before the Storm or just Before the Storm. I like Cry for Peace aswell
''Before the Storm'' really captured my imagination, we could steer the story in such a way that the end will have the biggest cliffhanger to date!
I love it.
The three men guarded the car in silence. Several noises could be heard coming from the dark forest around them. The night was clear, and a cold breeze let the near naked men shiver.
''I think it's better if you two stay in the car, it's a lot warmer.'', Kenny suggested.
The two men silently agreed. They got into the car and hugged each other to stay as warm as possible. The two men were uncomfortable, but had gone through worse before. Kenny stood guard with his pistol in hand, carefully examining his surroundings. He felt bad for punching Dave, but couldn't help but feel slightly angry at him.
''She's all I have left.'', Kenny mumbled to himself, ''We're family.''
-SCENE SWAP-
''It sure is cold out here.'', Danielle shivered while looking around the rock filled plains.
Clementine had been eyeing on Tavia for a while now. She seemed unusually aware of her surroundings. The woman shadily looked around and kept a close eye on Clementine, who had been covering their backs. The inexperienced Danielle walked in between them, she was complaining about all sorts of things, like she wasn't used to the harsh life after more than a year of survival.
''I'm pretty sure I saw some light over this way, if we're lucky, there might be some good people over there.'', Tavia said in a happy tone.
Clementine didn't trust her. The woman's shady behavior didn't seem to fit her happy tone and everlasting smile. Something was off, but Clem couldn't quite put her finger on it. She looked around, and listened to the mysterious sounds of the dark forest.
''Tavia, I think I--''
Clementine's sentence was cut off by the sound of an exploding skull, followed by guts spraying on the snowy floor. Two silhouettes ran out of the bushes, yelling at the group. Who are they? Clementine asked herself. As the men came closer their speech became understandable.
''Clementine, run!''
''Pascucci!?'', Clementine recognized the deep voice.
Her body was frozen in fear, Danielle and Tavia were just as confused and soon the group found themselves surrounded by a horde of walkers. Pascucci and a man unknown to her ran out into the field. Pascucci grabbed Clementine and told Danielle to run. He was just about to help Tavia when he noticed an odd expression in Dave's face.
''Dave?'', Pascucci was panicked, ''Dave? We've gotta get out of here!''
Dave didn't listen. His mind was blurry and his instincts took over. He charged at Tavia, pinning her to the ground. He repeatedly punched her, blood was running from her nose. She finally found the strength to fight back and pushed him off of her. She grabbed her gun and proceeded to shoot Dave, right between the eyes.
The rest of the group witnessed the fight and were shocked by Tavia's sudden move. Danielle started crying in fear, and Clementine aimed her gun to shoot.
''She'll die anyway.'', Pascucci stopped Clementine, ''We have to go.''

Clementine is suspicious but is willing to set that aside for now. Tavia slipped up a bit in logical thinking so she will probably have to improvise if it comes to it.
I have the feeling I let Tavia go away too quickly. Any thoughts?

The way it looks like at the moment Tavia will be shooting Dave in the face. Personally I think the story will be more interesting if she lives.
Well, she DOES live. And she has to, she'll survive 400 days at least
Dave's poor face! First a punch then a bullet!
Clementine, still aiming her gun, angrily looks at Tavia running away from the walkers. After a few seconds she shoots but the bullet hits a tree.
"Stop it now!" grunts Pascucci, dragging Clementine away in a gruff way as the walkers are coming closer. While running away Tavia's yelling voice can be heard from behind. "You better pray we never meet again. Ever!". Only a few seconds later a male voice appears, only just saying "Tavia, is that you? Are you alright...?". Pascucci, who's carrying Danielle, makes a nervous remark. "This is not good.. Clementine, run ahead to the car and warn them - we need either a trailer or a second car. We don't fit in the jeep. Your gun is loaded, isn't it. Go!".
Scene swap
"Was that a gunshot?" remarks Kenny, pointing Charlie's rifle to the west, where the noise came from. But after a minute he lowers it. I am probably just tired. Then he reminds himself the optimistic words spoken by Pascucci before he disappeared in the woods. "Calm down.. they are probably hiding in the woods" he said. He better be damn right says Kenny to himself, starting to think about what to do next. We are seven persons but we only have five seats. Gotta get away from this place. It's not safe here. Right this moment a walker approaches and Kenny strikes its head off with the butcher knife.
Then he heads towards the car, opening the back door, saying "Cold or not - we helped you and you'll help us."
"What is it?" asks Gus, straining his coat tighter to his chest.
"I've seen that trailer a few steps from here, at the barricade. We gotta hook it up to our van." says Kenny, scratching his back.
"Was it white and green coloured?" asks Gus excitedly. Kenny replies: "Yupp. Looked a bit rusty but still better than nothing".
"No way! This is my trailer! Let's go get it!".
"Alrighty, Gus, just calm down. Someone has to stay here in case Pascucci and Dave return, hopefully with the girls. You will do it, Jeremy. Gus and I will go get the trailer." instructs Kenny.
"Don't get mad, Kenny, but... I am freezing. It better doesn't take too much time, okay?"
"It won't. And let me give you one advice, pal: we don't have any other clothes in petto. You can borrow some from the bodies laying around, though. I don't think they mind anymore. Good luck.". The engine starts and the jeep drives towards the barricade. Only a few flames in the distance remind of the enormous hellfire. First Jeremy just stands around, feeling abandoned, lonely and useless. His whole body shivers more and more until his teeth begin to chatter. I cannot just take clothes from these monsters. Only a minute later he tosses his ethics overboard and he examines the bodies. First he grabbed some clothes for himself and Dave, then for Gus. But then the scavenging becomes an obsession. Eventually he collected a bunch of outfits for the whole group. Jeremy decides to dress himself in blue jeans, a white shirt and an olive green buttoned shirt with longsleeves. With the boots and the coat which he had before he is now fully dressed. Much better. In the distance he can see the headlights from the jeep coming nearer, as a young voice yells at him.
"Hands up! Don't move!" Jeremy slowly turns around. "Clementine, is that you? Where is the rest?". She lowers the gun, replying with a question.
"Where is the car?! We gotta get out of here, now! Where is it?!"
"Don't panick, Clementine, it's ok. It's right there. We found a trailer, Kenny and Gus went getting it...-" but Clem breaks in on him.
"Oh THANK god! We have to leave! Pascucci and Danielle will be here soon. There are bad people following us..-".
This time Jeremy interrupts Clem: "Wait a sec, just Pascucci and Danielle? Where is Dave?".
Clem just stands there silently with her mouth open. The engine stops and Kenny and Gus get out of the car. At the same time Pascucci and Danielle show up at the edge of the wood.
"Clementine, I asked you a question:" Jeremy repeats with a shivering voice. "Where is Dave?"

Jeremy looked at Clementine, then at Pascucci and Danielle. The three gave him a grim look, confirming his worst fear. He stared off into the dark forest. The world started spinning around him and Jeremy's body was paralyzed by fear. He started to breath heavily. Gasping for air before finally collapsing to the cold ground beneath him.
''Jeremy!'', Gus swiftly catched the limb body of his fainting friend.
Danielle walked to the car, still weeping over the loss of Dave. Clementine walked over to comfort her, but Pascucci told her not to, stating she needs some time alone. Kenny and Pascucci helped Gus to carry Jeremy back into the car, Danielle had taken the front seat and refused to look at him. Clementine helplessly watched while the three guys hooked up the trailer.
''Clem!'', Kenny shouts in a happy tone, ''Why don't you get into the camper with Dani and Gus?''
She hesitantly looked at the worn-out camper and silently walks over to it. Danielle followed her lead and got into the camper with Gus by her side. The three sat down on the old mattresses and started talking. About Dave, Tavia and the horrors of her cannibalistic settlement before finally switching to a more positive topic.
Danielle eventually took on a smile and said something they could all relate to, ''It's been ages since I've seen a mattress, let alone lay on one.''
Clementine's mood lifted for a while, but Danielle's remark had also brought back a feeling she hadn't felt since the day she saw her undead parents roaming the streets of Savannah. She suddenly lost her will to live. The last one and a half year she had done nothing but surviving, starving and losing the people she cared about. She realized that the world she once lived in was gone, and the people she once loved were now just fading memories. She missed her parents, Duck, Katjaa, Ben, Carley, Doug, Christa and Omid. But most of all, she missed Lee.
I killed him.
The thought kept rushing through her head, chipping away at the last bit of happiness left in her young and innocent mind. It could all end here. Her loaded gun laid right next to her. She didn't deserve to live. She wasn't supposed to live. But against all odds she had survived one and a half years in a world full of flesh-eating monsters and maniacs. She wasn't strong. She wasn't quick. She only survived because Lee was there when she needed it. Ending it now would deem his actions useless. She had to survive, not for herself. But for Lee.
(It's not as long as I wanted it to be, but I don't have much time, so just continue from here.)

Is anyone making a backup of all the posts? I know that one of the topics i created which was about Telltale releasing their engine to the public for mods etc., was deleted without any warning nor reason.
I'd be so depressed if all the work we've all done was all of a sudden the next morning, gone.

There was someone who said that he keeps saving all comments in a word doc, but he was not a very active member. I just made this super summary, don't know when I will have that much time to save all this. Any other active user interested in making a Backup?

The first part was good. I don't want to appear unfriendly but let's give them some rest finally, they just survived the most dangerous and action filled day so far and here comes another crash. Anyway, maybe we can make something useful of it.
It occurs to me that you are new to the thread. Welcome! Feel free to join.
We are happy about every new contributor but we have certain rules. The most important one is to read either the whole story so far (prefered option) or the summary of the story so far on page 26 (takes 10 minutes). The other rules contain plausabilty, character developement, dialogues, not too many twists and so on. Have you read the story so far?
SCENE SWAP
3 hours of driving passed and the sky slowly becomes a little lighter.
"Why haven't you killed her..." asks Jeremy. He leans his head on the left back window, staring on the snowy branches the car passes.
Pascucci sighs and speaks: "I told you, Jeremy - you weren't there. Everything went so quickly. The walkers attacked them and we were trying to help. The girls were in her company, and we used to help strangers. We helped YOU. We could've passed this town and live a happy life. Instead we risked our lives to help you, as Charlie wanted...".
Kenny drops a tear and rubbs his eyes. "Charlie was a good boy. We lost him because he desperately wanted to stay and kill these fuckers, helping you out. Don't act like it was just you who lost someone....". Jeremy cuts him off.
"Dave was my very best friend! I can't just go over it!" Kenny becomes angry: "And Charlie was a little boy! He was just 8 years old! And the bravest thing I've ever met. After I lost Duck he and Clementine were the most important things to me... I had to protect them both no matter what... And I failed...Maybe Jess was right..."
Jeremy eventually feels guilty for blaming the people for his loss. "I am sorry... I .. didn't know this. It's just... I misd him so much... He was the only familiar thing that was left after the world turned into this living hell.."
"I know, Pal... we understand very well..."
Suddenly a crash interrupts them. "Shittt!!" yells Pascucci and stops the car.
"What was that, Pas?". asks Kenny.
Pascucci opens the front door and steps to the back of the car. "The trailer loosened from the hitch."
Gus steps outside the trailer which stands 15 yards away.
"The ground is too snowy and bumpy. I suggest we get some rest and deal with the problem in the noon. It was an exhausting and traumatic day for everybody. I don't think that Tavia and her buddy will find us...."
Clem and Danielle peek out, following the talk.
"I don't think we are alone here..." Suddenly remarks Kenny, pointing at skidmarks in the snow which lead into the wood. A very soft flickering light can be seen.
Pascucci loads his gun: "Everybody into the cars. Kenny, you stay here. Gus, you come with me." and the group follows Pascucci's instructions.
"Can you see it? There's a cabin with a campfire in it. And there is the car..." whispers Gus, pointing with his finger. The roof doesn't seem to be fully intact, as the smoke raises up to the treetops. Only a few seconds later a female voice yells.
"I can see you, aiming right at your heads with my arrow - don't move!".
Pascucci takes a deep breath and speaks: "We don't want to hurt you - please put down the weapons.."
"Oh is that so? So why were you aiming at my campfire? Piss off, you rapist pigs!".
"... the fuck?!" whispers Gus, disbelieving what he just heard.
"Lady: this was a serious insult below the belt. We are not such horrible people but the opposite. We have kids and come in peace..." says Pascucci, vainly trying to find out where the woman is hiding.
"Liars!" she yells when suddenly a kids voice screams: "NO! Don't!". It is Clementine, running into Pascuccis arms and hugging him. Then a slender asian looking woman in her 30s, with long black hair and wearing black winter clothes, slowly steps out from behind the cabin with her mouth widely open.
"I... I am sooo sorry... you really got kids...." she speaks, lowering the arrow, obviously being ashamed of her false accusations. Then Jeremy arrives, gasping for air: "Clem, thank god... Is everything alright?".
"I am sooo sorry." the woman repeats. "Please: come here and accompany me at the campfire. I got plenty of cans to share with you.... there are really kids left in this world...". Relieved she smiles, getting very excited because of happiness. "I am Melody, btw. I used to be a teacher at an elementary school in Savannah before all of this. Please, come in and let's get to know each other!".
The group looks at each other and Pascucci finally says: "Ok, I'll go get Danielle and Kenny. And our jeep - we need to have an eye on our valuable supplies..."
