TWD Confessions

  • I cried when Kenny "died", when Ben died, when Lee died, when... Hmm, who else died? Anyhow, i cried when Pete died, too.

TWD is one of the few things that can make me cry.

  • I actually liked Larry.

  • I really didn't like Kenny that much after he killed poor Larry. But then after episode 3 I felt pretty sorry for him poor guy...

  • I ship Cluke.

  • I'm a bit of a hard to break person, and yet, The Walking Dead was the very first game to make me shed genuine tears.

  • I'm gonna admit it: I always imagine myself in the game trying to change events and being Carley's young sister and trying to guide Ben to not to do nothing stupid .

  • That's not a confession, you, like, shout it on the streets spontaneously, i bet.

This isn't a game confession but i feel i'm in the minority when i say that......I don't hate Carl.

If Sam wasn't impaled or suffering. I would've still killed him if given the choice. I just can't find it in me to forgive a dog that bites the hand(or arm) that feeds it.(and I am afraid of dogs. Too afraid to let a dog that bit me just run away)

  • Let me try it... I expect dislikes for this post!

  • Just because you said it, I expected to have a romance option with Carley, since we're all confessing here.

And you're so far off if you think Dragon Age:Origins is a romance simulator.

    ViralType posted: »

I think all those people who wanted to have a romance option with Carley are deluded neckbeards who should stick to their romance simulators like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I also would sooner go with Carver than with Clem's group.

  • I think Carver is actually a good guy. He's built up like some villain, that he's a total badass threat to everyone, but who is making these claims? Scared, desperate people. Carver's got a fortress, weapons, a small population, etc. He also didn't kill in cold blood, not like Kenny. He probably wouldn't have killed anyone if Ken didn't shoot one of his scouts.

I'm actually starting to like the guy. He now lives in harsh times, with a hard life, and it's hardened him into a harsh man. He understands that people need fortitude to survive, so he has to be tough to everyone, even kids, to strengthen them.

Besides, would you rather go to Crawford? To the St. John's Dairy? The Motor Inn?

  • Sounds like Puke.

Larry looks and acts just like my father... So that means I'm related Lilly and Larry? 0_o

And, even though I was little sad, I never shed a single tear when Lee died... but it was until I played A House Divided that I actually shed tears which now made me able to cry to Lee's death.

  • I guess you're stupid and blind.

Never mind. Calling you those would be an insult to stupid and blind people.

  • Seeing that's it's Telltale, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make Carver out to be a generic scary villain. In fact, watching the preview for episode 3, I really want him to be this pragmatic anti-hero, someone like the intense version of Lilly who just takes 'family values' a little bit too seriously. It would REALLY be interesting just to see Telltale mess with our heads by having Carver convincing Clem (and thus in extension, us the players) with a 'grey-area talk', and then force Clementine to really outgrow her young and naive days by seeing that the harsh side of reality doesn't always allow you to play the nice guy, but like Pete said, forces you to "choose a role even if your loved ones hate you for it."

  • but you just did

  • Yeah, go ahead. Research. I don't really care...

  • Hey! As a legally blind and occasionally stupid individual, I take umbrage at that remark!

  • Heh, sorry, Max. I didn't mean any offense to anyone else beside Captain Oblivious over there.

  • --I cried at the end of my first playthrough.

--I cried even more the second time when Lee decided to make Clem leave him. It seemed especially sad given the context. Throughout that playthrough, Lee was a bit of a brute who wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone that he saw as a threat to the group. After the incident at the trainyard, he told Clementine that she needed to "learn to pull the trigger" and live with the consequences. After she put down the stranger, Lee realized that Clementine was slowly turning into the kind of person he was; a killer. He told her to leave him in hopes of preventing her from going down the same dark path.

--I like both Lily and Kenny and constantly have trouble deciding who to support.

--That said, I crushed Larry's head almost every time.

    --I find Eddie annoying.

  • I shouldn't say some of them, but I will say that Nate is probably one of the only characters that I can relate to the most, mostly personality wise.

  • But you will get a lot of upvotes.

i dont like the new kenny as much... he seems different. i will expect alot of dislikes for this...

  • No problem, what a coincidence, huh?

Heh, sorry, Max. I didn't mean any offense to anyone else beside Captain Oblivious over there.

I ship Puke (Pete x Luke).

    ...........................................

    Not really.

-I don't like Kenny all that much but I don't dislike him either.

-I don't get why so many people like Eddie.

    -I miss S1 Clem

-I think Walter had potential and he shouldn't have been killed off so soon.

  • I agree with you. It's true that he probably wouldn't have killed anyone had Kenny not gone and shot Johnny. I think Telltale is setting the stage for us/Clementine to realize that being a good guy doesn't necessarily mean you get to survive. Trying to be moral all the time in a world like TWD while also ensuring the survival of yourself and your family/group is near impossible. Look at what happened to Walter.

However, I don't think Carver is a good guy. Torturing Carlos (in front of his crying and screaming daughter no less) just to find Rebecca before him and his henchmen had even searched the place was going too far. But then again, after two years into the ZA, no one can be really be defined that easily. It's not black and white anymore.

  • Wow, damn. Okay, total perspective-change about Rebitchcca. Thought I could have forgiven her when she gave me that speech about "always depending on others" in episode 2, but this is just being a selfish prick.

OK, I found it. If you stay silent, she reaches out to grab Nick's rifle and he accidentally shoots in the process. Happens at 0:24.

  • I know, but since they're getting rid of the RPG in their RPGs and making the romances the more focal point of the experience, it's easier to call them romance simulators.

  • Yeah, but do you have to call fans like us "deluded rednecks"?

  • I want Clem and Kenny to stomp around rural areas killing assholes while being slightly irritated with each other, like a contemporary Arya and the Hound.

  • Ok so I recently replayed TWD. On my original playthrough, I sided with Kenny basically all the time, but on this new one, I sided with Lilly, and I'll admit that I'm starting to hope Lilly comes back, because siding with Lilly made a lot more sense and was a lot more interesting.

  • I said ''neckbeard'' not ''rednecks''.

Yeah, but do you have to call fans like us "deluded rednecks"?

  • Same here. I felt pretty much no sympathy for that dog, though I did put him out of his misery.

I too wasn't sad with Sam's death. He did just bite Clem in the arm, so, he got what was coming.

  • I cried when Kenny "died" too, and got all teary eyed at Pete's death at the beginning of Episode 2.

    I know that feel, bro.

Oh yeah. Because that's totally less insulting.
