Mike kills Clementine?

Someone told me about a scene where Mike kills Clementine? I looked for it on YouTube and I can't find it anywhere. Is this true or not?

its a non canon death, it doesn't count. if you don t grab the ladder in time he lets go of the rope and you fall.

people hate mike for this but i don't see it as a reason to hate him. they just put that in there to make you tense up and panic to try to grab the ladder fast.
  • I'm pretty sure it does :P

  • It's not a reason to hate him, just to see how he's not super perfect as everyone makes him out to be. I still really like him.

  • i don't hold a grudge toward mike for that though, its non canon and was added to cause suspense.

  • Man... I didn't know about this. This kinda makes me lose some respect for Mike. I understand that he couldn't just hold on to her, but the very least he could have done was try to let her down easily enough to survive the fall. The fact that he straight drops Clem to her death is pretty fucked up. I can't even imagine what Kenny would do to Mike if that was Clem's canon death. Kenny would do to Mike's entire body what he canonically did to Carver's face.
  • Its non canon so people are overreacting for no reason IMO.
  • Doesn't change the fact that it shows what Mike would do in that situation. I thought he was really trustworthy, but the fact that he'd rather be responsible for Clementine's death than get caught trying to escape is pretty fucked up. I suppose one could argue that Mike and Clementine would both be killed for trying to escape if he hadn't just dropped her, but still, I think it would be better for them to go out that way than for Mike to let her die.

  • I don't hate him either, but unnerves my like towards his character...

  • I dont hate him. but after i saw that death.. man!

How could someone let a girl fall like that.. maybe this is a hidden clue of his personality, maybe it's nothing at all. but anyway he lost some points in my list.
  • Kenny or Nick wouldn't mess up like that. I still don't get why neither of them held the rope instead of Mike, who they barely knew.
  • Didn't notice this but it doesn't really change my opinion of Mike, don’t know him enough yet anyways but he seems decent. Chances are he panicked since we all know how brutal Carver and his men are and let go of the rope assuming Clem grabbed something.
  • I'm sure if that wasn't canon and Kenny was there Carver would be the least out of Mike's problems. Still I don't mind it, still like Mike.
  • Yeah, but Clem falling and Mike catching her would change the story, sky you'd have to replay that scene by reclining back up and telltale wanted to make it so you climb up at that moment and not later. It's really just a gameplay thing, it has nothing to do with who Mike is as a person.
