Just to let you guys know. 'Murmurs of Hope' will be a lot more survival themed. It will be a bit more difficult to kill walkers. However there will not be alternate endings, though you will see why when you reach the ending.

Thanks for answering. Loved the first episode cant wait for the second episode. One thing you can improve is making the episode a bit longer then the first one. Besides that excellent writing
No, the next episode will ask you what happened during your play-through of the first episode. Then your choices will be taken over to the second episode.
Well yes but there will not be a checkpoint you will have to start the episode all over again. This is put in place because it's meant to be harsh towards you. You playing the episode again isn't you "going to play for a second time because you died". It's another play through entirely because dying opens up a different ending.
Wait a moment, did you mean that in this episode you can die like in the video game, that you'll then have to restart from the checkpoint?
Because I unterstood that the main charatcer can definetly die (if you fuck up) like Lee xD

No no no. Not at all. When you die, that is an ending. However that ending (whether it be canon to you the player or not, is up to you). You still play as "you" but this time the death isn't "canon". Think of it like how you play the actual Walking Dead by Telltale Games.
If Lee dies (from a walker in Episode 3 or something) then the player could take his death as canon or just replay the episode in order to actually complete the episode. The same happens here, except when you die it gives you a little more insight and make it come across as an actual ending.
Overall I wouldn't say the deaths you face are canon but it is up to the player to decide.

Thank you very much it worked. Here's a small trailer for the game (This game is completely like TWD of TTG,but more things to play and longe… morer episodes)
You shot the State Senator, cops on the way!Surrender or escape?
What is that?Find the shot gun and the shell and kill it!
"You survived all this long on your own?" Says Lee shocked.
*"YOU DON'T FUCKING TALK TO ME!JUST GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK!" Says Hershel.
"ESSSSHOOOOOW" reacts Duck for the stitches
Enough spoiling for now, when the official episode is out,I will inform you!
I liked this quite a bit. Nice job for the most part, as although there were few characters, they all were drawn out to be believable. Shame you barely get to know a couple of them before they can die.
For KarjKS -
Problems: There are some grammar/spelling errors that stand out pretty well. The chapter also felt a bit rushed, like with the scene at John's house where they talk a little about themselves before going to sleep. Then they're off as soon as morning hits.
Examples of how to extend it:
John offering some breakfast, to which your character could decline, ask about what he cooked, or just accept flat out. And that would expand on your character's personality, as to whether they're picky on eating(which could become a problem) or not, whether they are good at preparing food(since we don't know the character's occupation/hobbies), and how trusting they are of strangers. It'd also allow them to talk for awhile, so the character could show some back-story or pry into John's life.
Before they head out, John could ask if you are willing to kill walkers, and if you have any skills that would help defend yourself. That way you could say you are good with your hands/pistols//bow/explosives/rifles/etc. Which could either lessen his worries about breaking into the gun store or increase them, depending on your choice. It could affect your aim with ranged weapons, or your effectiveness with melee weapons. Makes the story feel more... personal.
John kinda just puts his guard down, when he should be fairly paranoid. He seems easygoing and all that, but he seems to know more about what's going on than your character at the time, so he's probably seen some terrible stuff. So he would probably check to see if you were bitten, and whether you are armed at all(instead of assuming you aren't).
You also don't get to know the character much(you), which I can understand if you want to make the protagonist the avatar for the player, but even then there are ways to hint at who the character is and all that without setting anything at stone, and without changing the story much. At the most, there would be references like: "Aren't you good at this?", or "He/She said that..."
I don't mean to sound mean or like what you're doing isn't good as it is. The fan-story you made got me a little emotional at times and kept me interested for the most part. I even played it again to see what happened if I picked different decisions. I just felt it could use some touches here and there, and that there were some errors that I could address. Sorry if I presented myself as rude.
Looking forward to the next episode, and how the choices I made reflect the story. Great job, dude.
Wow! I loved it! Oh my goodness, that was great. The writing was tight, nice and great! Dialogue and its responses were pretty great. I would suggest as an improvement however is to make more options, and there are a couple grammatical errors in there. Sometimes the story did sort of not immerse me as well, but other than that. Great job!
Hey man, I released mine as well. Check it out here, please send feedback! http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/79096/new-the-walking-dead-text-adventure-episode-1-out-now?new=1
Thanks so much and oh my god you are completely right. I'd love to put choices and dialogue choices like this in there to expand the characters backstory, and you know what? I think I may. Thanks so much for all your help and playing the game, I am so glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the feedback! The second episode will have much more choice, I just wanted to get the episode out the door before I leave on a trip (today until Saturday).

In celebration for my fan-made game making it to #1 of the 'Most Top Rated' of the website it was posted on, I wanted to give you guys a present. So here's as a thank you.

I'm so excited! Can't wait for Episode 2 to be released. You know, your game inspired me to do mine. Once I finish my interactive fanfiction, I'll probably start making a game myself.

Check the teaser again, I may have linked to the original teaser, sorry. It should be fixed now, and I'm glad to hear that. I cannot wait for your game.

Thanks! Considering that I must do Episode 5 and DLC of my fanfic, I'll start doing the game not earlier than in September, but my school hear starts in September, so it probably won't be easy.

"and in this episode you will die" WTF?? O.o
Even if that's true, why would you spoil it now?
Sorry, my mistake.
Okay but I still think it was better not to tell that now.
I understand, I will edit the posts.

Nice man! You inspired me to make one of my own! (It's in development, though I doubt that episode 1 won't be done until next week)

Thanks, it seems I've inspired quite a few people and I'm so glad I have! I wish you the best of luck and I cannot wait!
Thank you so much, I hope you will enjoy Episode 2
So you become a different character?

Oh ok that sounds pretty cool. So It's like Corpse party with the wrong endings
I guess you could say that, yes.
Ohhh okay, now I understood, so i don't think that's spoiler
You made this? Most impressive! May I ask you what program you used to create these games?
Thanks so much! I used a program called 'Quest' you can find it here: http://textadventures.co.uk/quest
Does this program allow you to add in voices and noises? (This would be a fun project!)
Yes that's how I did it. It takes a while to learn but you can get the hang of it.
Thanks for showing this me, man! I'm going to try it out!
Ah, okay. I'm glad you understand.
Spoiling? These scenes are almost the same as the game.
