Still pretty traumatizing, being touched in such a manner. If even that were to happen to Clementine it'd break her. I don't want to think about Clementine being raped or sexually assaulted, but at the same time I don't want telltale to pretend that bad times like that in TWD don't exist.
Therefore, her sanity would be fluttering from that point on. I don't want Clementine to go completely insane. I mean, the rapist would have deserved it for sure, but the entire action of rape towards her would just harm her mental health.
Something tells me if someone tried to rape Clementine it would end like this......http://youtu.be/3tR-TpmYjXM After seeing what Clem can do I believe the rapist would meet a gruesome end if he tried to rape Clem
I don't believe she was "raped to death", but rather they gave her to the St John's, perhaps in exchange for food. You do find a whole pile of clothes and other things in the barn.
There is rape in TWD S1. It's heavily implied in Ep 2 that Jolene's daughter was... raped and killed by the bandits.
"JAKE, BART, LINDA, … moreand ALL YA'LL FUCKIN' SICKOS FROM THE SAVE-LOTS! THEY CALL YA'LL BANDITS! BUT YOU'RE FUCKING RAPIST MONSTERS--"
—Jolene shouting at the Save-Lots Bandits
Not while Clem's still our main character. Most of what you mentioned came in season one when Lee was the main figure but the community is very protective of Clem, so it limits what telltale wants Clem to do and see. I wonder how much darker it could get if we played as ourselfs with no one to protect.
How does that explain Jolene calling them rapists? And the unused audio from Ben saying (paraphrase) that he wishes the bandits had just killed the little girl they found? I thought the wheelbarrow full of clothes was from just random survivors that had stumbled by the farm or come there for help, lured there the same way Lee's group was.

I'm pretty sure Ellie didn't go insane after she did that. She just became more distant and more determined then before and I think the same would happen to Clementine

Rape in general would be sickening. That's just too dark.
It is, that stuff makes me uncomfortable. When it's done subtle like what Molly had to do to get her sister medicine, or what happened to the lady in episode 2 in the woods who had her daughter taken away, then yeah okay it serves the plot. But to go straight out and say what Ben's unused audio was in being that graphic, no, just no...
It's the same with torture as well, if you go too far on that, it can be just as sickening. That's why I don't like the Saws films, because it's people getting killed in the worst pain possible, and in the most horrible ways and I just can't take it.
I don't really know anything about the comics but i think it is all in your interpretation. For me one of the most darkest moments of the game was when Carlos was forced to smack his daughter. That affected me a lot more than seeing Mark Legless. I didn't really know mark he was just added in at that episode. I was also annoyed with him for telling the St. Johns pretty much our life story when i was avoiding conversation with them the whole time. You would think he would of picked up on that, but no. I think the game is pretty dark already, what do you want to happen? A Sexual assault? I just don't see that happening in a video game, it is just too taboo, and i don't think many people would want the series to go in that direction, including myself.

What's happening here is they're trying to get through a horde. One kid starts to freak out and then devoured. He doesn't let go of his mom and she doesn't let go of him. So she starts freaking out and starts to get bitten. She's holding on to Carl, and won't let go. So Rick gets his hatchet, and chops her hand off to escape. And this is a woman Rick loved.

oh I'm sorry I thought the spoiler tag was more than a hint that there were spoilers in my comment and the only important detail that was in there was the governor thing and ben and billy's deaths and I'm pretty sure you would already know about the ben and billy thing if you watch the tv show
No, at the end of the day, it is still a video game.
People (Anti-Video Games) see video games as the Violence maker. We (who play video games) can see more than just that. If there was a Dark moment in TWD, we would be shocked as hell.
If they see that... "Video games raises violence by over 9000%".
Then, they would unleash their inner wrath.
PS: If there was a rape scene, no, that would do me in. Meeting someone who suffered from rape during the ZA (no matter the gender or age). That.. woud still do me in but is better tham acually wathing or even listening to it.
Also, it wouldn't lose its core fanbase (if it became darker), it would just be way too real, which can make real emotions
Some perverts might joined too. Unfortunately.
Hell yes, I want to see just how "dark" things can truly get. Everything that has happened so far in the universe of TWD (Game, comics or show) have been dark at one point, but lost it's "darkness" over time and now I just want to see something that I can actually consider to be dark.
I've just gotten into the comics and have caught up to volume 20 and if this game ever got that dark it would make this already awesome game all the much better for me. Carl getting shot in the eye is my all time WTF moment. I think the darkest thing for me in the game is Ben's episode 5 death.
Let em' unleash all the wrath they want. It'll give us something to laugh at. I'm pretty sure I remember Congress saying video games are "a form of art", and there's plenty of art showing rape and nudity and stuff so it's not like they'll get very far.

If video games led to violence I would have killed thousands of Nazis, millions of zomies, billions of civillians, 3 entire planets, and 1 Universe by now.
Also I would currently have stolen about a kajillion cars, looted billions upon billions of corpse for petty cash, and robbed several banks by now.
That argument always pisses me off. Maybe people kill people, I don't know, because they are fucked up in the head and don't have parents that can tell them you can play this video game, but realize what is fake and what is reality. Hell I've been playing games rated M since I was 6 or 7 (started with Turok Rage Wars) and I haven't been tempted to shoot anybody yet and im 21. Well maybe when I see somebody texting and driving but I'd rather not get into that cause that releases that voice in my head that says kill them all let the darkness flow through your veins and release hells wrath lol.
EDIT: Oh and add Earth and the Moon to that kill list. (Just beat Serious Sam 3 XD)

Well he ends up saying that in EP5, so by that, I do believe Carver raped Rebecca. That and the way the group reacts about Rebecca and Carver, especially Luke talking about how they left the camp "when Rebecca began to show." That seems an odd time to leave unless there was a strong reason. That and Rebecca's intense disdain of Carver is far more than of a woman remorseful.

i think there was also unused audio suggesting that Carver raped Rebecca

I hope not. Every issue of the comics pretty much SUCK after #6.

Thanks for fucking spoiling everything, really appreciate it.
There was?

For sure clem wouldn't trust men. And it would change her. Ugh i don't want to think about this shit...
No. I want something like this to have to happen.
What's happening here is they're trying to get through a horde. One kid starts to freak out and then devoured. He doesn't let go of his mom and she doesn't let go of him. It wasn't unused. Carver told Rebecca that 'she enjoyed every minute of it', which to a lot of people sounds like rape.

The darker the better. After all, it's apocalypse and it's TWD, so bring it on.

Didn't know about the fucking dick and rape part. And I obviously had to read your comment, put it as your third one or some shit.
