Luke or Kenny? Who's side are you on?

  • I'll side with Kenny, I'm agreeing with him a lot more than Luke or anyone else. That's not to say I always agreed with him( Told him Luke will help us when going to Carver's camp, I combined both Luke and Kenny's plan to escape Carver's camp, and said Rebecca needed to rest for a couple days instead of leaving in the morning)

    still in denial ;_;

  • I might side with our 6'2" friend, Kenny.

    But I like Luke too...

I hope they both make it to season 3.

I think the way Kenny killed Carver was stupid. He should have tortured the motherfvcker till he cried or leave him to get devoured by walkers, not give him a quick and painless death... I swear, Kenny knocked out Carver in two or so hits and the rest was painless for him.

    Carver deserved his death 100%

  • I like to believe that Carver felt all the pain but couldn't scream because he was knocked out.

This is like the millionth thread having to do with Kenny vs Luke. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but still. Do we really need another one?

  • (I'm trying not to get pulled in, but I just can't help myself)

If we're going to blame Kenny for leaving Clem in the herd, then we also have to blame Luke, who runs right past her without even acknowledging her.

But I'd rather not blame either of them tbh, because it was an extremely high stress situation. I mean they were surrounded by walkers, and on top of that there were people shooting at them with guns.

As Flog points out above, Kenny did really well caring for Clem when he abandoned her with a herd. "It's your fault because Sarita got bit

  • Luke... why in the hell would I ever trust Kenny?

Luke had one screw up... no pun intended... and it was rather innocent

Kenny on the other hand, well, my favorite parts of S2 have been Carlos and Luke telling off Kenny's most prolific actions ("There are consequences to rash actions" and "All you do is bark orders at people")

Kenny's list of transgressions go on and on and have been listed over and over again so i wont bother with it here. Luke has shown to be selfless throughout most of season 2. Kenny has shown to only care about himself and his family... forever.

  • Mike

  • But the difference is that Luke was actively running to Sarah - he might even have (wrongly) assumed that since Kenny and Clem were together Clem already had backup, so Sarah was the one in need of help the most.

Kenny simply left because that's what Kenny felt like doing at that moment.

I'll be honest I was siding with Kenny originally but now.....both of these guys have shown they aren't very capable, both argue and battle for control of the group.

I'm starting to agree with Jane on the fact that Clementine would be much better off on her own, which upsets me because I really wanted to have a good group going and Mike and Bonnie don't deserve to be in the middle of all this social war between them.

I can see that sort of choice coming....and it's going to kill me to leave them all behind, I'm still unsure. Maybe there's hope for the group, but then again maybe there won't be.....

There's No Going Back after this...

  • It's a possibility, but it's hard to tell if Luke even noticed Clem was there tbh. Also(yes, it's determinate but it still holds ground if you choose this option.) If you don't cut off Sarita's arm, Kenny rushes to get her out of there as quickly as possible. It makes sense that she would be his priority. But If you do cut her arm off, the only justification I can think of for Kenny is that if he couldn't stand to be around Sarita's body any longer and/or needed to take out his anger on killing more walkers, instead of Clem. (at the moment at least.)

  • I like both of them so much, but Kenny win the round. :)

  • the hell with both i'll run to find jane

  • You're all wrong. Don't you know TellTale already? They are going to make Kenny's character the worst for now, so you will side with Luke. And then, well ... You'll regret that. That's what TT is about to do.

  • Neither,Mike FTW

  • The one that makes sense and make the best decisions [ at the time ] No one or neither of em are right 24/7 and survival is important not following leader just because they r the leader[ if they ever was]

  • I was going to pick Luke until Episode 4. Now, fuck Kenny and Luke, I'm taking Bonnie, Mike and the baby with me to find Jane and eat the shit out of racoons.

    • But if I really have to choose, I'm still with Luke, because Kenny is losing it and I wouldn't be surprised if he pull a "Carver" thing in Episode 5.
  • I think I will choose Luke. Despite the fact that I care about Kenny, he is growing increasingly more unstable and violent. Luke made a point that he is driving the entire group too hard. While Luke made a mistake regarding him not keeping a lookout, he still have the entire group's best interest at heart. He also doesn't seem unstable and violent. Then again, Luke have the flaw of pushing himself too hard. Have you guys notices how Luke becomes more and more wounded throughout the Season?

    Kenny: Clem help!

    Luke: please Clementine!

Clementine: ugh I had it with this crap!

    You choice to walk away

  • Would the ''If people don't trust you, how can you trust them?'' question be a part of this Luke or Kenny thing? What do you think?

Oh and I'm kinda 50/50 on this one.

  • I love how I'm responding to this so late, but that was a mistake on my part XD

    Leaves nick to die, what?

  • Well I was with Kenny the whole time before that moment in the game.
So when it came to siding with Luke or Kenny, I chose Kenny.
Things weren't getting better, it was getting colder, and the longer Rebecca stayed out in that cold, the worse she was going to get.
Ordinarily, after something like that, I would've suggested she be given a few days to rest, but that wasn't an option at that point.
Not with the weather being the way it was!

  • I feel like Kenny couldn't take his time to torture him. Because... y'know. There was a giant group of walkers heading towards them. sooo.

    LUKE FOREVER

  • Neither?

  • That's kind of a stupid way to put it like that though. Think about this, would luke save Clementine over nick? Would luke save Clementine over Pete? Now think would Kenny have saved Clem over Lee? Would Kenny have saved Clem over Sarita? I think he would. Just because Kennys favors some people like the baby's over Clementine doesn't mean he isn't trustworthy. Luke favors other people over Clementine too sorry no one is Lee.
