Luke's Idiocy
This is in regards to Nick's death. So first off, Luke said HE sent Nick off to go look for help right? But the thing is, Nick's walker had no weapons visible on him! Now it's possible that the weapons fell off him but Nick normally didn't carry melee weapons, mostly rifles. So let's assume he had a pistol at least. Luke knows that walkers are attracted to loud noise so shooting the gun would be a death wish out there. And pistol whipping isn't the most effective way of killing walkers. Now Luke knowing this and having a MACHETE that he could've easily given to Nick instead of sending him out there with basically nothing, doesn't give him anything at all! Luke had an AK that he could've used if the walkers busted in so he didn't NEED the machete. Luke knew going out there was a death wish and instead passes it on to the one guy (who's also injured by a bullet earlier) that is willing to do anything for his best friend. I think that Luke maybe knew it was a lost cause and didn't give him his machete because he didn't want to lose it, not having hope in Nick's abilities. Or could be bad writing. Maybe both :P
Edit: Also even if Nick volunteered it still wouldn't make sense for Luke to not give him His machete at least. And Nick could've easily stayed behind also! He knew Sarah just as long as Luke had so he could've tried maybe!

To be honest, I kinda felt like they could've taken out all those Walkers if they worked together, there were about 10-20 it seemed. I wish that Nick wasn't sent out by Luke so that he could have a more heroic death, like if you leave Sarah behind, Nick disagrees with you and grabs Sarah and lift her up to the top of the R.V. then get bitten, or if you chose to save Sarah, Nick could've boosted Jane up and got bitten.
We weren't there, we don't know what happened, but it's safe to assume that Nick most likely wanted to prove himself by protecting Luke and Sarah. As for Luke's machete, Nick might have needed it, but come on, we've seen him fist fight walkers before.
P.S. It's bad writing. :P
Nick couldn't have lifted her to the top of the RV, you seen how Sarah reacted when Clementine tried to hug her.
He could've forced Sarah to, besides, Luke never mentions that Nick tried anything with Sarah.
He never said that he SENT Nick to go out for help, it's possible that he insisted. or he just left the building and was like "I'M GONNA GET HELP" before Luke could even stop him.
I'm popping in just to say:
It's called "idiocy." Luke's Idiocracy implies that Luke is leading a society of idiots, and so far that isn't necessarily the case.
OK Nick's not the smartest guy out there but even idiots would hesitate when there's a herd of walkers banging on the door.
In that case, it's Clementine's idiocracy.
We really dont know what happened, or if luke even told nick to find help.
What about his fan base? Zing! Lol here come the downvotes but OK I'll change it
Heh, I'm sure a lot of people have already talked about how dumb the cabin group has been...
To me, it seemed like they were implying it was a mutual agreement that Nick would go and Luke didn't give him any weapons to defend himself
Yeah but Luke's been cautious and really smart until now. He's had a HUGE string of fuck ups since episode 3
"Nick tried anything with Sarah"
O_o
It seemed, doesnt confirm
Well Telltale can't just confirm everything in the game otherwise it would be boring. They instead leave you implications other than outright telling you
That's true. But that doesn't necessarily mean Luke carelessly let nick get himself killed. But i can't say your wrong about thinking so, because we just don't know.
I personally believe that with that gunshot wound and walkers all around, Nick knew he was dead. Luke and Nick basically agreed for Nick to go on a last-ditch effort to look for help. Nick didn't get far before a walker caught the scent of blood and attacked him. Luke pretty much knew this was a suicide mission, so when he heard of Nick's death, it only confirmed his suspicion.
I meant that it is never mentioned that Nick got the chance to try and get Sarah to move.
