I knew how Kenny survived in S1E5!)URGENT(

Hello guys.I were thinking for few days and trying to solve it,and I did!Kenny survived LOGICALLY.And in both cases.I will say both ways below!

1-Saving Ben;There was too many walkers,and Kenny would've fought them,and he was full of their blood.Then when the rest were coming,they just smelled the blood on him,so they ignored and continued.

2-Saving Ben 2:He would've ran away.When they showed the upper view,I ACTUALLY saw someone/something running.Then I reckoned that Kenny was the runner.

3-Sacrifice:Just like the first Saving Ben theory:There was too many walkers,and Kenny would've fought them,and he was full of their blood.Then when the rest were coming,they just smelled the blood on him,so they ignored and continued.

  • My memory of EP5 is a bit foggy, but didn't Kenny have a gun with only one bullet during the Ben scene? How would he get the Walker guts all over him?

    No, he just got lucky. Real lucky.

    Sounds good for the saving Ben, but I think Kenny would have figured that out in Episode 3... And Kenny didn't have another weapon besides that Gun...

  • guys he hit them with it,don't you remember when he was hitting the walkers with it on their heads?!That's how he got covered in blood!

  • Yeah, but he was being swarmed in the alleyway at both ends. The "Urban Kung Fu Powers" theory seems a bit more plausible to me.

  • My theory: He didn't fight any walkers, just fucking ran and pushed his way through the herd.

  • True, but in Episode 3 he would have realized the thing with the Walker Blood if this is the case, I think... and where did you see Kenny running in the City after other Kenny S1 "Death?", I never bought that Kenny was dead and somehow knew we would see him again later but I never had a 100% reason that made perfect sense, hmmm..... Power Of the Saltlicks?

    guys he hit them with it,don't you remember when he was hitting the walkers with it on their heads?!That's how he got covered in blood!

  • Maybe he luckily found a building with the door unlocked. Then he stayed cooped up inside until Sarita, who managed well surviving on her own, found Kenny while killing many Walkers on the way.

  • Kenny was covered in plot armor... that's how he lived.

  • Maybe Kenny pulled something out of his magic pocket?

  • Impossible. In season 2 he didn't know that walker guts would protect you;

  • You actually can give him a gun with extra bullets if you don't use all of them during the mansion escape. Not that it should have helped him any.

    Why would he fight or run? If he was so concerned about living, why didn't Kenny just quickly mercy kill Ben, run back to the gate, THEN lock it behind him (and thus still be around to help Lee rescue Clem)? Kenny was committing suicide by zombies.

  • He can be seen pistol whipping them

  • Yes.There's also a reachable edge where he can climb to the top of the building.But what about the sacrifice?Damn it was the best part.

    I think it was originally really meant for him to die in Season 1. It's impossible for him to escape that back alley. The rooftop sacrifice I can understand Kenny finding a stairwell, trap door or closet door or something in that big building. Alley had nothing but boarded up windows on the side. And Omid and Christa was above looking down on the whole thing I would believe. Only way Kenny is still in Season 2 was that the writers just suddenly granted him immortality for the fans and wished him back with the Dragon Balls. The only other thing just as impossible as the Kenny resurrection in season 1, was how Clementine managed to find the inner strength in her tiny arms and legs to drag Lee through a garage gate in the midst of a horde and close it without any of them noticing them and attacking. But Season One is still overall superior to Season Two except for the graphics.

    He pulled a Tyresee and kicked walkers' asses.

  • I feel like Kenny would have mentioned getting out like that in your first theory for saving Ben when they are doscussing it in episode 3.

  • I'm not sure, but I think that Gavin Hammon said that he recorded Kenny's death scene. However, it was scrapped from the game.

  • Yeah I just knew when in E3 if Clem told him that Lee figured that out,he'll say "Thank you,Lee,"

    BUT if you were a bad friend with him in S1 he will stay silent and turn away.

    Impossible. In season 2 he didn't know that walker guts would protect you;

  • He lived, end of story.

    Of course he was supposed to die in Season 1, Gavin Hammon and Melissa Hutchison theirselves said that, but I suppose Telltale noticed how popular Kenny was or they thought his character had still some potential and play a role for Season 2.

    But if you ask me, I think they ruined his character. That death in the alley/building was the great ending for a great character, bringing him back in Season 2 means fuck up all that (even if I was really happy to see him again), if they can't make an even better ending for him now.

    I account the "new Kenny" as kind of a new character, the original one died in S1E5.
