Wholy shit, in my opinion this episode saved the game. Like Green said, you got some high expetations.
Telltale didn't even ever say that pizza and ice cream were about Kenny and Luke, we just thought that. And I think Jane coming back in this episode was a good desicion from telltale because we already got so many caharcters that are 'supposed to come back in other seasons' so soing the same with Jane would just be bad writing and mean that telltale doesn't figure anything new. But I guess you don't like new or suprisea that this episode was full of..
Oh, well if you don't like the walking dead game anymore, no one makes you buy it.
You should still give them another chance, even though I think your expectations are kinda high, all in all, I enjoyed this season even more than the last one, and I'm getting the next one.
I can agree on the Mike/Bonnie incident. I actually thought Bonnie seemed off when Clementine went to talk to her, and this is even if you went to go help Luke. Or maybe she was just upset. I could let Nick's death go a bit because I just I like to believe he died trying to do some good by going off to look for the others to help Luke and Sarah, but Sarah's second death didn't work for me. Considering how Episode 5 goes too, it's possible they could've kept her on and had her die elsewhere or leave with Mike and Bonnie [but then if Clem her's friend that might've been a problem]
Yeah, I guess it is. I can get what they were really to do with the curve ball thing and have it be Jane and Kenny instead, but I still feel gloomy about it XD for me I just didn't want to see Jane come back in the last episode, I was fine with saying bye bye to her until another Season. The whole different endings though does make me question that too, how exactly are they going to pull off Clementine being in 3 different locations? The only guess I can figure is another character will come in and Clem won't be the main character anymore, that or she'll mention different things of where she came from or the game's has different openings.
But thanks for understanding. I didn't make this thread as a 'doom all that wanna play Season 3' it's fine if you were happy with it. I just wanted to get out how I felt about it that's all XD
I won't judge you if you won't play Season Three, it's YOUR decision. 'No Going Back' met all of my expectations, and more, but there were a… more few things that could have been handled better:
I wish they could have hinted us at Mike and Bonnie's betrayal more obviously, the only hinting you get at the betrayal is when you talk to Bonnie on the stairs, but she'll only talk to you civilly if you choose to save Luke instead of covering him.
Season Two started to have throwaway deaths starting with 'Amid The Ruins,' out of the deaths in that episode, only Rebecca's and Sarita's made sense. Nick's was just dumb, and don't get me started on Sarah's inevitable death. 'No Going Back' didn't have any throwaway deaths which made me happier, but how they killed Luke off almost halfway through was dissapointing.
The whole Pizza/Ice cream decision was something I give Telltale HUGE props for, almost EVERYONE expected it to be a Luke/Kenny decision, … [view original content]

Maybe...but if I did, it'll be more of a 'wait until the whole Season is out' before I could even consider it. I still don't know if I will.
Still I'm glad you enjoyed it XD I think both Seasons had good things and bad, but I did like the finale on Season 1 for what it did ;_;
