Even before Kenny made his case, I was hellbent on having Clementine stay with him.
I felt: Either those two enter Wellington together, or … moreforget about it.
It's not worth having Clementine there, if that means abandoning Kenny.
And when I saw how deeply Kenny cared for Clementine, though I'd already had a good glimpse of it in episodes 2 and 3, I couldn't separate the duo.
Seeing what lengths Kenny had gone to for Clementine all through the season, made me appreciate his character in a whole new way.
Kenny's speech actually made me a bit choked up, not that I was crying, but his speech did move me.
Telltale has done such an excellent job with Kenny's character.
And if he is in Season 3, I hope telltale will keep him alive; even though he is now a determinate character, so that we can see more of this great character, and have him around for a long time to come.
I got the obsession vibe from her as well. People always complained about Kenny using Clem as a replacement for Duck, which I think he basically debunked with his dialog throughout the episodes, and particularly in the finale ending, but I think Jane was the one with the serious obsession.
I think you made the right choice.
It's kinda dumb when people want to change their choice but don't do it because of some honesty myth. … moreWhat the hell? You can play the game however you want to. Changing your mind on certain decisions doesn't make you a cheater.
Yep. Jane was manipulating both Kenny and Clementine at that moment. I'm starting to think her thing was an obsession. I mean, she lost a little sister already. That would explain why she was basically right there when the shootout happened even if you waited days to leave. That's what some have suggested, anyway.
Yeah. I mean, if you decided to leave right away it's somewhat believable she would still be around that area. But days later? Was she spying on everyone? We'll never know.

"He ain't like the others. Jesus! All y'all are just asking it worse."
Kenny's beaten the odds MULTIPLE times.
And he can sure as hell do it again.
I know there are many, including me, who want Kenny to stay around.
To beat the odds!
To become the one determinate character that actually survives.
Hopefully the writers see it that way too.

My friend and I just left work a couple of hours ago and we went straight to his house so he and his girlfriend could play No Going Back. We like discussing what happened after we all play an episode. Can anyone guess in which scene I teared up like a bitch, again?
Surprise!
Oh, and they actually stayed at Wellington. That hat scene killed me.
Yeah, five hugs isn't enough. Still, I enjoyed what I got. Their hugs are simply the best. Don't they look peaceful when they do it?
Plus, there's always Season 3 for those who saved him.
It's hard to choose between those two who got screwed worse. Nick all but ceased to exist after Episode 2, with barely any lines in Episode 3 followed by a lazy offscreen death with no lines whatsoever in Episode 4.
As for Sarah, she got killed off in the exact same Episode we saved her in. We still got to talk to her after the trailer scene (Even if it was just a little bit) but then after she dies at the deck literally nobody talks about it again. She's forgotten just as quickly as Nick is.
If I had to pick which one got screwed the hardest, gun to my head, I'd say Nick. But I'll freely admit to being biased in this regard because Nick and Pete were my favorite Season 2 characters. Both Nick and Sarah were handled horrendously after they became determinant.
My bad. I had totally forgotten about good ol' Pete.
I agree. Pete's was relatively well handled. His sacrifice was noble and actually got to me.
Who do you think was handled worse, Sarah or Nick?
It's a shame. I thought they were the characters with the most potential. Have you watched the video on Youtube of Nick playing Mike's role? He fits perfectly. We have so many goddamn characters for no reason. No wonder Telltale has to kill them in the mist meaningless ways.

Dude i started tearing up and soon as he suggested Wellington taking only clem and aj, but burst into tears when he gave me HIS HAT, the thing he didn't take off till this episode.

Technically we don't really know that he died when Clem shot him in the side... right? Totally could still be alive. Kenny confirmed for Season Three. No determinate status. Also... I really do not understand why Clem would leave him to reanimate.. there must be a reason
Though that shot to the head in the other shooting option looked pretty fatal..

Ah well, we are all different, bro. If I met you in real life, I wouldn't try and change you. I would just try and be a good role model, if that makes sense.
Not good being sour lemon all your life mate haha must be the kiwi way aye kiwi_walking_dead us new zealanders tend to be lovable chaps until you piss us off haha
Haha, for sure. I'm a proud Kiwi, but, even when I'm pissed off, I try and calm down and be nice. I hate conflict and tend to try and steer clear of it. In the apocalypse I probably wouldn't last very long lol

Yeah.. from a close range hunting rifle I believe.
I really wonder if Telltale intentionally had Clem not prevent Kenny from turning to leave the death more open ended for future ideas.
I don't know really. He was talking like he was dying, but he just kind of closes his eyes and stops talking at the end. The baby starts crying and Clem and Jane walk away from him.

I'm sure he's dead if you shot him, he was sliced in the chest, clawed in the eye, and then shot in the gut, he'd probably die of blood loss, if not anything else.

If someone can break the determinant status spell, it's Kenny. Though, it hurts to know his death is imminent.

Who knows. Maybe he gets lucky, real lucky...

I'm sorry... I had to.
I wish this was true. Not even Clementine is confirmed. ;-;

I fucking love this! Its like Kenny and Lee are bashing the place up. Hahaha!
Exactly. He's a flawed and complex character and very well written. You either love him or you hate him.
Amén.

God, we're all a bunch of softies.
I love being a softie. I don't care what anyone else thinks of that. :P
It's funny. I'm only a softie for this game. I'm a hardass in real life.
Heh, you hang around me long enough, it will wear off lol

You're nice in real life? I wish I could say the same.
Seriously though, didn't he survive a similar wound in Season 1?
There's a chance...
Well, not all the time, I must be honest, but, I was raised to be as nice as I can be to people. Although there is such a thing as "too nice".
Honestly, I'm a bit of a prick.
No wonder my favorite characters include Kenny, Larry, and Carver.

Why do New Zealanders and Australians use the word "mate" so often? Just curious.
Not really sure. I tend to think Aussies say "mate" more. New Zealanders its usually "bro"
A lot of your folks use it, too. I think you're the only one I've met who uses "bro" instead.
Bro if your a hori lol not at all mate bud bro cob gee cuz cuzzy lol its just our slang
Isn't it clear that he dies in that scene? Honestly, I only watched it a couple of times and didn't really pay attention to that.
Hori lol I havent heard that in ages. Haha.
Yep. The most beautiful country in the world, too.
80% of us a happy go lucky the other 20% a fuckwits but i love new zealand we are all pretty chill

It kinda looks like Lee keeps getting hit by a boat and coming back. Lol
Hahahahaha! It sure does.
Sorry guys but if you let him kill jane and then choose [shoot Kenny] he gets shot in the head
