One of my faves. Andrew Lincoln is incredible. Don't know if you've seen any of the behind-the-scenes stuff, but the actual actor who plays Rick is an effeminate british man. You can watch him get called to set and, like, BECOME Rick in midstride. His whole demeanor down to the way he moves and carries his body just changes on a dime. That's talent.
I guess that depends on how much of a fan you are of the show. I love the game series but not as much as the show. Five seasons into the sho… morew and Im still excited for it. The last season of the game, eventhough I still enjoyed it, lost some luster for me. My favorite character of any TWD property is TV's Rick.
Season 2 was doomed to fail under Frank Darabont tbh. AMC cuts his budget and he was forced to fire all his crew. I think that's why they also killed off Dale and Andrea. (Jeffrey DeMunn and Laurie Holden, noted favorites of Darabont). So really, AMC didn't give him much of a chance to succeed which made no sense seeing as Season 1 was decent.
The second-half has some major issues but that's mainly Darabonts fault. He messed up Season Two and I'd imagine it'd be harder to solve it all. But nonetheless I still hate Season Two.
...And because every time I edit, I get the original to edit from and would have to retype quite alot, the one thing I do need to clarify is that I had it in my head that Andrea's name was Bonnie. This wouldn't be the first time and I've been doing that for years. Why, I wonder? Was it her little sister that was named Bonnie?
The first season was better than the second and the second better than the third.. Haven't seen the fourth. I still like it though.
Some … morepositives: Most zombie genre titles don't get the opportunity to delve into some of the darker and more compelling human elements of the ZA (The real long-term struggle to survive apart from running from and killing zombies; the struggle for companionship and its manifestation in the forging, loss, and reforging of familial bonds with folks you otherwise may not have given the time of day; the way it the monsters are a great backdrop for highlighting the classic theme of man's inhumanity to man; etc.) In fact 28 Days Later is the only film that springs immediately to mind as having done a good job of this.
I also enjoy the departure, in ways, from the predictable safety of principal dramatic characters. Rick is the only character I can feel totally assured will be alive at the end of each new episode, … [view original content]
I still can't get past Season 2 cause i see like 15 minutes of each episode every day XD. Season 1 was good though. My biggest problem is the characters, i don't really like any of them. The game beats the show anytime.
Haha, he's not effeminate, lol. I actually follow him on Facebook and he (or his publicist) is always posting pictures and videos and stuff. Is it because of his voice? He has a lovely accent. I agree he's very talented. The reason I love Rick so much is because if you watch him in season 1 and now, he's like a completely different person. He shows so many different emotions and so much range, its just amazing. The trailer for next season has got me so hyped, especially if it means they are going to take down those Terminus folks.

My favorite show on TV, yes it has its slow parts but overall its entertaining! However, when I first played Telltale's Walking Dead video game and first finished season 1 I favored the game more then the show. The game is amazing because it really plays with your emotions and its just nonstop and unpredictable. I do love the show though, anything Walking Dead is great (besides Survival Instinct, that was awful).
Oh, don't tell me anything. I'm still waiting on season 4 to hit Netflix.
Maybe its something in the voice. I've definitely gotten the impression of him as somewhat effeminate in interviews and things, though. Don't misunderstand, I don't mean that as any kind of slight against the man. I mainly bring it up because I'm always so impressed by the marked difference between Rick's demeanor and his own, and what that says about his skill as an actor.

I like the TV show because i like zombie apocalypse type stories and i am looking forward to the start of season 5. I like most of the characters on the show but i don't get the Daryl obsession, he is a good character but if he died i wouldn't be too upset but the Daryl fans would probably go crazy :P
Before playing season 1 i didn't watch the TV show or read the comics but after playing the game i decided to give them a go and i really enjoy them, but out of all of them the game is the best as it has the best characters and story.
If The Walking Dead on AMC had the same emotional state as The Road, it'd be topped over anything. The Road is the only thing that has the same amount of emotional impact as TellTale's TWD. Other than that, The show is merely a bust of "wow that's pretty brutal" but nothing sad.
Season 1 was absolutely amazing. Great start, great story as followed by the comics.
S2-S3 was pretty bad. Characters pissed me off a lot throughout the duration and while there were few "wow damn dude" moments, the rest is merely abandoned in thoughts.
Season 4 brought back the series to a great level again. Especially the last few episodes. Amazing surprises every 5 minutes or so and while the journey is still lumpy and boring, there was more heat in it. That's just to summarize it up. I did highly enjoy how they did a cool (yet confusing) back-story on The Governor and some of Michonne.
Apparently Season 5 is supposed to be the most crazy (in a good way I guess) season yet. Tons of action and blah stuff like that. I'm just waiting for the feels to kick in.
No is cause i get bored, it's not like i'm watching the clock and count eaxctly 15 minutes it's just an estimated XD. Season 1 was way more entertaining imo
So true. Apparently TWD Tv show is Carl's story and not Rick's. Coulda fooled me. Chandler Riggs is such a wooden actor. And yeah there is an insane following of Daryl fanatics of "If Daryl die, we riot." You summed up my thoughts perfectly.

Season 1 wasn't bad, I liked season 2 because of , the character developments, season 3 was just okay again and season 4... Fckin boring. I forced myself to watch but I think this is it...The last few episodes were incredibly boring and predictable. The characters became stupid and dull. No feels. The game is so much better it almost hurts

I love it. I wouldn't have given the game a chance of it wasn't for the TV Series. Season 2 may be the weakest (Which a lot of viewers seem to have stopped watching) but it gets a lot better.

It does tend to get mundane after a while purely because there is so many episodes and that main theme becomes somewhat irritating to hear. But that being said i still love the show definitely.
The fourth season was focusing on characterization. I personally don't find that boring. I thought season 4 was amazing and I think it was the closest to being like the comics.
Yeah but al the characterization kinda led up to nothing. So maybe the fifth season will do something with it. But if you like it that's perfectly fine.

I like it. I mean, I'm only invested in what happens to Carol and Tara at this point but it's not that bad of a tv show. I'll agree that season 2 was pretty bad. Season 4 made up for it though imo.

There's no Bonnie in the show. Andrea's sister was Amy.
If you havent watched passed fifteen minutes worth of season 2, you really havent seen much character. There have been a lot since then.

What i mean is that i watch 15 minutes of an episode then i watch another 15 minutes starting in the part i left. Right now i'm in Chupacabra
No i don't get the best experience is not cause i want to , is just that i get bored, Season1 was way more entertaining imo
PS: 15 minutes is an stimated, is not like i'm watching the clock to count exactly 15 minutes XD, sometimes i watch less and sometimes more.
Why are you doing it that way? I can't say you'd get the best experience.
Lol, I swear I've been doing that forever and I have no idea why. Silly.
Having an actual TWD character named Bonnie now probably isn't going to help.
Oh, don't tell me anything. I'm still waiting on season 4 to hit Netflix.

I like it.

I don't know why I like it. I just do. It's entertaining.

Season 2 was just bad my friend. It gets a bit better in Season 3 and 4, but 2 is the worst of all.
Season 1 was good, season 2 is fu**ing boring.

Sorry, I don't mean to spoil you. Season 4 has been my favorite so far so I hope you enjoy it.
Carol is still alive.! WTF
I like it, shame when Merle and the Governor died but, oh well...
I don't really like it, but I still watch it. Dunno why.
I love it. I wouldn't have given the game a chance of it wasn't for the TV Series. Season 2 may be the weakest (Which a lot of viewers seem to have stopped watching) but it gets a lot better.
Yes, I've not watched all of season 2, but I liked Season 3, and S4 restored my faith in the Series. It looks like S5 will be even better.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch the fifth season. The 4th was really boring. The only characters that I like are Carol and Michonne

Game>>>>>Comic>>>>>>Show>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Survival Instincts
Is that even a question? Clem, of course.
i love the tv show

Hell yeah, Carol! Best character ever, 10/10.
I dunno, Survival Instinct had some pretty great stuff. I mean, where else would you find zombies as glitched as Survival Instinct's?
Led up to nothing? Okay.
