why are there only human walkers?
why are the walkers always human? like if a dog got bit would it just die or would it turn? ive only ever seen zombie animals in resident evil and if the birds can turn from eating infected flesh why havent they turned yet? i dont know why but this bothers me what do u think?

Animal's don't turn because Kirkman said so.
Resident Evil is pretty dumb though. Those games have zombie everything.
I guess the disease only infects humans, other animals I guess are immune to the disease, I don't know, Kirkman has never really said anything about how animals are affected by it.
I think is that human's brains Aretha most complex and therefore the only one's the disease adapted to.
i wasnt talking about the game ive never played it,i like the movie but i saw trailers for the game and it did look pretty crap
but you die from the fever it only reanimates the basic instinct-eat,so if everything is reduced so much you'd think all brains would practically be the same
Not sure why but I gotta say it would be a ton more interesting if there were other types of zombified threats out there. Like evolved zombies such as those from the likes of Left 4 Dead along with some infected beasts. I'm guessing the zombie fungus or whatever it is that they haven't explained caused everything is exclusive to just human beings. Kind of like HIV or something. They can limit themselves if they like but it only gives them less ammo to utilize to make the story as exciting as possible.
The Walking Dead will slowly begin to loose flavor in all mediums, comic, show and game because this universe is kind of limited to just a handful of themes or situations.. like group confrontations, illness, scavenges, walker slays, and of course the good old fashioned romance (sex scenes). Walking Dead can catch your attention and is interesting, but to me their days are numbered and its only so much you can do with Walking Dead franchise before it gets naturally repetitive then boring. I give the comics until maybe the year 2020, the show until season 9 (before it gets really bad) and the game until the season 3 finale. Since the game has already begun to sort of fall of the wagon early with season 2. Where you gotta ask what were they thinking at some points as they really dropped the ball plenty of times in S2.
No, I mean Resident Evil's story is dumb. The games have fun bursts of enjoyment, but they're really hilariously written.
Not really,
like take Ebola, there are strains of Ebola that can be transmuted between animals/people. How do you think they got it in the first place, by eating rats and other disease ridden animals in the first place. That is why they destroyed that spanish woman's dog, and she sued for 100,000 dollars and won.
Different series different rules, an experimental virus was to blame there. Some real life viruses don't cross over from animals to humans, so you could argue whatever makes people turn into walkers doesn't affect animals, but it's possible animals could become carriers if bitten by a walker.
Seriously though, if The Walking Dead had infected animals like in Resident Evil running around [giant spiders, fast zombie dogs] Clementine would be so screwed T_T give that girl a rocket launcher!
ha lol but they didnt get ebola from animals it travels by liquids, good point though
Right, i'm just saying its possible.
ehhh... not only zombies but also diff kinds of plagues/disease like B.O.Ws and las plagas.. t- virus, C-VIRUS, whatsover virus..well thats resident evil is all about terrorizing a country by using a fucked up virus..
you can say re6 sucks then i couldnt fuckin agree more...
well what do you wanna see in resident evil?? some rainbows and unicorns shit?
As said by someone who clearly hasn't played RE:Zero, RE1, RE2, RE3:Nemesis and doesn't understand that Resident Evil is one of the best franchises and Capcom's best selling games.
In The Walking Dead universe animals are not affected by the virus, simple as that. Why? Who knows, maybe Robert Kirkman.
Resident Evil games are awesome, at least 1-4.Actually most people would say that the movies are crap
I never said the games were bad, but the plot is pretty B-movie levels of dumb.
I've only touched Resident Evil for a bit, beaten RE 2 twice now, beaten RE 4 and 5 at least 5 times both, and have touched on playing RE 6. So, although I'm no Resident Evil connoisseur or anything. But I know a bit about how ridiculous the games usually get.
Edit: Oh, and I'm looking to buy RE: Revelations. Cause I quite enjoyed my time with the game... plus, dat Jill Valentine ass.
'cause it's a human virus.
Unless Luke's "I don't know a mosquito bite from a lurker bite" is meant to be foreshadowing...
Animals have an immunity to turning they one up us for all the animal cruelty we've caused.
