Seriously, this is the best one.
BUT, if what Jake said is true (about changing the beggining of the title), then I would say season one will become "The Pox of Monkey of Island," and season two will be one of the aforementioned titles...
Personally, I think "The Disappearance of Monkey Island" sounds fun and intriguing. Along those lines, I submit: "The End of Monkey Island?"
Of course, that would suck if it actually turned out to be the last Monkey Island ever made...

You have every right to do so. Personally I disagree with both of you and think that name of the next season (if that ever happens) should be something original and not a reference to some other work.
Yeah, I think they are fine with sticking to the Tales of Monkey Island name for this franchise. It makes it clear that it's an episodic series. For the next season, they should call it "Tales of Monkey Island: Whatever the plot is" and rename this first season to "Tales of Monkey Island: The Pox of LeChuck" or "Tales of Monkey Island: The Cursed Hand"
