  • My choices still won't show. I made a new file and played through the entirety of Ep1 again yet no choices tab available. My XBL account is linked to my Telltale account and I was connected to XBL the entire time whilst playing through Ep1 again. When I goto Ep1 in the Play tab, it says "continue" as opposed to restart if the game actually saved at the end, which it did not, no save icon was available upon completing the final scene

  • When I look for the record of my choices from Episode 1 on the TG website, it only shows 2 choices; 'Did you ask Margary for help?' and 'Did you steal from Margary?' but no others. Seems strange that it'd record a couple of the choices from Episode 1 but no others...

  • Same problem. Decisions don't carry over. It doesn't even save them. My previously on Trailer does not include my in-game decisions.

    Choices aren't carrying over. There is no My Choices on the main menu nor were we able to see any choices after the game was completed. On the website, only 3 are showing up the last one about asking Margaery to help (which I did). Other two are related to telling about the grove (only one person) and volunteer to go to the Wall which I didn't.

    Girlfriend is rather irked right now.

  • The TTG account is linked albeit it wasn't until a certain point (I think until the choices registered on the website being listed) as there was an error on release day preventing us to link to it.

  • I am experiencing the same problem as well, all of the choices I made were not present in the cut seen entering into episode two and I can't find a choices made section on the home menu.

No save icon pops up after or during the ending scene of Ep1 and when i hover over Ep1 on the Play tab, it says "Continue" and puts me at the last save point before finishing the Episode which is right as Ramsay arrives.

    • Connected to the internet the whole time
    • Xbox Live account linked to Telltale before playing
    • I do not (and have never) and a "My Choices tab, when I complete an episode it tells me to check your website...
    • My save file from episode 1 is there.

    What is with all the recent bugs in your games? Problems with this game and then the season pass issue with Tales from the Borderlands (which still is not fixed, go figure).

  • This happens to me as well. I had to replay the last part of two saves and still nothing carried forward. Will there be a fix for xbox one soon?

  • Gah, this is infuriating Telltale!! Same thing happening to me...no 'My Choices' tab, none of my decisions carried over, have linked my gamer tag to the account and everything. (Garuman Live)

  • Same happened to me on Xbox One. None of my choices from Episode 1 have saved, either on this website or on the console. Playing the game without choices or consequence is a pointless experience. Telltale should pull the game from sale on Xbox Live until it's fixed, and should advise existing customers what's being done. I want to have some faith that this will work eventually or otherwise I want a refund so that I can buy a working version of the game on another format (PS4 for me).

  • Yes, I agree. There is no shame if they admit that they are stumped with this issue, being so random and worse on one end of a player than the other. It would just show strength actually if they would be honest about something like that.

    Personally, I do not even need a complete refund, just a part, so that I can buy a version on my PC, or PS4. I even stated that in the email I sent them, but I've had no response at all. Then again, Xbox Live has done it smart, that it always states that refunds are impossible, so...

  • I am pissed about this, I am not going to play until it recognizes my decisions. Why wont somebody from Telltale acknowledge this glitch and give us an answer? Also, to the people on XBoxOne who arent having this problem, what did you do to avoid it? Maybe you made the generic default choices so it fell in line with the glitch so you didnt notice? Any suggestions

    @TelltaleMike How come you are answering peoples questions about your glitch with more questions? Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering a solution? Clearly we are all experiencing the same crappy glitch and I wont play unless its fixed. I am having the same issue, on XBox One, my decisions wont carry over to episode two, I cant see my decisions after episode 1, my gamertag is linked, KenKris4602. I want a refund if you cant fix this. Have enough respect for your paying customers to fix the issue instead of "UUHHHH... Have you tried this? Have you done this.?" YOUR GAME IS MESSED UP RIGHT NOW

    @baconbag Can you please clarify if you are still experiencing the same issue? Also, are you able to see your Episode 1 save files in-game? If you restart the game, are you able to see your My Choices page in the main menu?

  • It's not even the fix that's annoying me, it's the lack of communication. I think they're working on it based on comments in posts by TellTaleMike but how are we going to know when it is fixed? Will they do some kind of public announcement on here? Email us all? Or will it just be an update on our consoles?

    We need to know what we can expect and some kind of timeframe. I'm putting off playing it until my choices are correctly used from Episode 1, but I've paid for a Season Pass. I hope the same thing doesn't happen with Borderlands. You'd think this would have been tested before release.

  • I know right? How does such a major bug get past testing? Is it even safe to say they even tested it? I find it absolutely ridiculous that its becoming normal for developers to ship god damn broken games.

  • Can you see your choices?
    Do you have a 'My Choices' tab on the main menu?
    Have you bought the season pass?

  • FYI, Telltale Mike: I just called Microsoft and get a refund for the season pass. Rest assured, I'll never play one of your games again. Your companies incompetence has affected too many, too many times.

    From this nonsense (your choices are the ENTIRE point of these games), to season pass holders never being able to download the episode the day it's released. It's too much. I hope your company crashes and burns.

  • I think our best hope is to wait for an update. I tried for several hours trying to get my game to work but to no avail. We'll have to wait and see...

  • Same here. The problem is the game doesn't seem to recognise your choices, the website says I haven't made any choices at all even though I've completed it multiple times....Also there isn't an in game choices screen like other versions of the game.

If you are currently experiencing the issue, can you please clarify what region/country you are currently located in, if you are using a wired or wireless connection, and when you played through Episode 1? (Did you play through Ep 1 when it released, or more recently?)
