I woke up suddenly shaken up. I try to remember what I was dreaming, but I can´t. Most have been a nightmare. I always had some at home, but Brooke always calmed down. She was pretty sad when I volunteered. She isn´t even my real mom, but I still care about her and Cole and I am doing it this for them. When I win we will live like Capitol´s people without worrying about the tomorrow.
I got out of my bed and I walk out of my bedroom. I looked at the window before getting out of it and it´s pretty early. The living is still like it was the yesterday when he arrived. I rub my eyes and I see that one Avox is walking past me to my room. They are people who were some kind of rebel and because of that they got their cut tongues cut off and were slaved. I gave her a sad look while she still walks past me. She has dark skin, black short curly hair and brown eyes. I turn around and I walk to Lilith´s room. She is my district partner and volunteered as me, but she did to save a little kid called Mist Everdeen from being reaped and going to the games. I don´t know her from home but she looked really poor. I slowly open the door of her room and I see she is peacefully sleeping, her short brown hair covering her green eyes and the rest of her face. I decide to do not wake her up and I close the door. But what I can do now? , maybe I can go Training now? It will help me. I didn´t change my clothes to sleep, even my escort Prudence tried to force. Then I walk past her room and I hear her snoring. It´s pretty loud, how could I even sleep with it last night?
After I reach the elevator I got inside of it (people probably haven´t use it in the night) and I push the bottom to go training. I quickly find myself in the Training Center. There are a lot of stations. Wiring, climbing, throwing knifes and arrows, snares, spears, physical combat. But I see two figures, both a little smaller than me. I recognize them, the boy from District 4 in the spear are with a trident and the boy from District 11 in the puzzle are. I think I need an ally in case Lilith doesn’t want me as one, but who I should choose? Maybe it´s just better on my own, maybe not and I need someone with me. Or i could just go learn about edible plants. I will need food and i think if i got some of it in hte bloodbath it won´t last much
