I was posting something in the "Listing To" thread and the memory I was talking about reminded me of this song I, also, listened to on that day. Now it's just playing in my head.
I wouldn't say Trivium has a diverse catalogue, but they do experiment and try new things every now and then. Early albums like Ascendancy and Ember to Inferno are more metalcore, while Shogun contains a lot of thrash metal elements, along with hints of their metalcore sound. Their latest album, Silence in the Snow, contains no screaming and a more regular heavy metal sound (part of it was due to their singer recovering from throat surgery). With this song, it looks like it has a lot more of the classic Trivium sound than Silence had.
Now that I finished watching the first season of 13 Reasons Why, I found many cool songs worth sharing.
And (although it's not my style) my personal favorite...
I like listening to these on my 'depression walks', as I like to call them.

I first heard about it when discovering my favourite Radiohead song 'Lucky' uses similar chords. Of course the song's sound is influenced by Pink Floyd and not just sheer coincidence. If you listen to the beginning you may hear slight similarities.
Hey you - I haven't heard this song in a long while. It's good to have this song return into my life.
Had no idea the other song existed till now. Pretty good though.

Thomas Newman, along with James Newton Howard and Ennio Morricone, are amongst the best film composers working today.
Underground psychedelic rock.
(don't judge me)
Psychedelic rock is awesome!
EDIT: This sounds like a song off of Revolver that's crazy.
Hell yeah, glad we agree!
I never thought of that. It totally does.
This song is so good that it deserves to be featured in the next TWD season.

New Trivium material, hopefully a new album soon.
If the rest of their music sounds anything like this. I'm going to start binge listening to their music.

My all time favourite song.
I'm working my way up from their first albums, so that's good to know.
Oh sounds interesting. I'll give them a listen after work.

Don't you think this guy would be a perfect addition to their band? (If they're still alive of course)
Listening to the last Armored Saint album.
What can I say? I like Bush.
If I had that voice...
Anyone else got trauma because of this song?
This is one of those songs you don't listen to for years but randomly end up singing to yourself every once in a while.
EPIC
When you've been on the internet where I've been. This song becomes ruined forever.. -_-
I was looking at the video for so long I swear I saw the woman moving! ❂.❂

Yah. They sound very similar.
The way the singer starts singing his notes at 2:50 triggered thoughts of Muse songs. Too bad none of their songs are as calm as these ones are.
