Is Wellington really safe?
Because this is the Walking Dead we're talking about. There is one line that makes me think that it won't be safe there for Clem. The woman was against letting them stay because they have too many mouths to feed, but as soon as Kenny said just take the Kids it was alright. Now, why is one adult mouth plus a child and a baby's mouth too many to feed, but a child and a baby isn't? We don't know what the woman said when she disappeared. She came back and said something about I made the point that-but was immediately cut off by Kenny. What was the point she made? We need to repopulate the earth? the child is a little girl, and so here we have an easy target? This is something I've been wondering about. I mean, the Walking Dead series has a pretty bad ratio when it comes to safe zones.
I might be wrong, but I'll just say this. Remember when we thought going with Tavia was a good idea?

I'd like it be safe, for a difference
There's a lot of interesting story to be told in that setting, and seeing another beacon of hope get snuffed out just so the game can continue to be 100% doom and gloom. Especially when even the source material lets up now and again and provides a few moments of hope here and there (Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom etc)
A phisically able male on his 40s is going to need more food than an 11 years old child or a baby.
And they let the kids in...well , maybe because they felt bad about leaving them knowing that it would be almost impossible for a little girl and a baby to survive on their own if something happened to their care-taker (Silly humans , they don't know about Clem's plot armor) and since they don't require as much resources, its not that crazy. atleast that's my take on it. Sure , it can end up being a fucked up place , but we've all seen it...way too much, let's just hope they don't waste a chance to do something new-ish by TWD standards.
Also they wouldn't be giving away bags full of supplies if they where THAT bad, or atleast it wouldn't made much sense...
If it was going to be safe the walking dead wouldn't be working on S3
I found the ending very confusing because I didn't know what Clem had to offer Wellington, I mean wouldn't a grown man be more useful to them for strength and support than an 11 year old girl (not to offend Clem, we all know she is badass #1 ^-^)
Yeah it might look safe but if, like they said, it's over capacity then the infection will spread quickly just like Crawford, nowhere in the walking dead is safe forever -_-
I thought going with tavia was going to be fine and that really backfired
I hope telltale can work with the endings, if kenny dies in the first 2 minutes im gonna cry T_T
No place is safe for long. Like you can make Lee say about the St. Johns, IMO, the people at Wellington are delaying the inevitable.
Alexandria says hi.
Safe until the plot knocks on the door
No, beacuse this ending is determinant.
Could be safe and whatever conflict arises (and their will be conflict cause it's TWD) will probably be from an outside force. I guess the reason why the guard was hesitant is due to if you let 3 people in, why not more. Plus it's a huge responsibility to let in strangers into your community y,know. If they started shit it would be on her head, but a kid and baby would be easier to handle. Bad shit will happen no matter what, but it's part of why we play.
It won't be safe forever that's for sure no place last in this universe (The St Johns dairy, the motor inn, Crawford, Howes etc) either the people of Wellington will move on or eventually get destroyed.
I'd like to see them stay there for most of the season, but each episode presents problems like sending people out for food and water and supplies. Survivors who aren't as pleased to wait two months. Then depending on our choices in the final episode we choose whether or not to leave Wellington. Or better still. Depending on our choices we could get kicked out of Wellington.
It might be, at this point in time. But sooner or later something's going to happen, and Clem will leave. Although it would be cool to have 5 different games for S3 I don't think Tt can do it. So I imagine they'll kill Kenny/Jane and destroy Wellington/Howe's. But seeing as how that's pretty obvious, they'll probably do something different.
I propose that it is pointless to discuss "Schrodinger's Safety Within Wellington." Until we see that it is or is not safe, then it is both safe and unsafe.
Have a good day. :P
The Prison says 'hey girl what took you so long?'
I don't think anywhere is safe.
And the old saying ' if it looks too good to be true, it probably is ' is probably where that road leads, IMO. But i can never bring myself to let Kenny live, let alone indulge him on his deluded quest for Wellington. North was a terrible idea from the start, i don't even care that Wellington is an actual place. I would never trust that Clem wouldn't just end up captive inside the walls or taken advantage of.
Apparently i have trust issues during the zombie apocolypse.
When we almost got to Wellington the walkers weren't freezing or slowly walking...it might be 50% safe.
