Here's a character I created in Aion, a new NCSoft MMO.

    *picture of horror*

That's horrific and disturbing yet completely funny at the same time! :)

This must be how our mighty pirate hero feels when encountering porcelain.

"Where the hell did I put that portal?"

Not sure if we don't already have one of those (this thread isn't exactly easily searchable), so just in case:

    IMPORTANT!
I've just finished uploading all images up to this point to A Picasa Webalbum, because it's become pretty much impossible to navigate this thread with it's dozens of pages and duplicate images.

Right now, it's still marked private, but I'd really appreciate if you specifically said whether you're fine with me posting the images on Google.
  • edited August 2009
As long as you credit each and every one to their correct owner before you make it public, I'm cool with it
  • edited August 2009
Already done. I'll wait till tomorrow evening if anybody doesn't like the at all.
  • edited August 2009
If you posted it somewhere and gave everyone credit...don't see the difference between it being here or there.
  • edited August 2009
The only link to it would be here anyway and the only beneficiary (if anyone) is Google. To me it's really just about a better way to look at the images.
  • edited August 2009
I'm down with you reposting my image in google mhmm.
  • edited August 2009
I wouldn't object to you posting my stuff on Picasa either.
  • edited August 2009
All right. I know that a majority vote isn't legally binding, but you can simply ask me to remove it if you don't want your stuff on Picasa.

Innofficial TTG Photo contest mirror on PWA

I still have to flatten the transparent PNGs (PWA removes transparency by merging the image onto a checkerboard) and at the end of the day each image should have a link back to the post from which it came, especially the PNGs and GIFs that PWA doesn't display correctly, but it still gives you a much better overview than the forums.
  • edited August 2009
Thanks for posting those in a web album. I apparently had missed some in my following of this thread.
  • edited August 2009
    No Problem.

Irishmile, maybe you could add a link on top of your first post, so that there's an easy to find link on the first page of this thread?
  • edited August 2009
I edited my first post with the link....

When you put them all side by side it makes me realize just how much I did..... I didnt even realize I had done that many.

    You miscredited this one: http://picasaweb.google.com/hansschmucker/TalesOfMonkeyIslandPhotoEditing?authkey=Gv1sRgCMukgsv7-8nl8wE&feat=directlink#5366253995816727778

The background is Telltale's concept art and the Guybrush is MonkeyMania's, I just compiled them with the text and verb coin and added some lighting effects.

Thanks. Fixed it. I also have one sitting around with an "I'm Pro Kate" label that I can't find in this thread, eventhough httrack mysteriously downloaded it.

That may have been from the "speculation on cliffhanger" thread.

I also just realized that's the older version of my fake CMI-style TMI screenshot, the newer one looks like this:

    Nice work!

Some pictures appear to be missing... I was the first person to say I was cool with it D':

    *feels forgotten*

Edit: There also might be some more here. That IS what started the whole thing off after all
  • edited August 2009
Hmm, which ones? I really tried my best to get them all and match them up with the posts, but there were a lot of them and maybe I made a mistake. Just give me the post and I'll fix it.

Here are my creations in one convenient post:

    Monkey Slug
    Retro Tales Guybrush
    In the Lab!

And they were scattered around the thread too D: I'm not really sure how you managed to completely miss all of mine XD

Oh and I noticed you miss out a few of Bagge's creations too :S Maybe you've missed quite a lot? I'm thinking you better go recheck the thread :O
  • edited August 2009
Urgh, I know how: You're only one here using GIF. I'll fix it.
  • edited August 2009
I should have said "only" GIFs... turns out there were a few more that I had actually looked up in this thread, renamed accordingly and put into the upload directory... but as it turns out, Picasa silently drops GIFs during import.

I've got three more animated ones that I'm not sure what to do with. PWA can't display anything but the first frame ... should I still include them, with a link as first comment?

I would just include the first frame, I don't remember seeing any that actually need the extra frames. And yeah I did actually figure it was something to do with gifs. I'm not really sure why I used gifs actually, I think it was to do with transparency and the such.

    Done. Any other problems?

Edit: I'll plunder the previous thread on Monday

Nikasaur, I hope you used the images posted in this thread and not the gallery, since there are quite a few pictures in it that were NOT entered into the contest.

The voting was over in a timely manner, the only trouble was the awarding and suchlike. Don't worry, I'm on top of this!
  • edited August 2009
Great. I've sent everybody who posted images in this thread a ping-style message to check this thread again.

    ???

    Apparently some form of code
(or is it a My Name is Earl reference?)

I think it simply means "Oh, no! Nikasaur is 'on top of this' so the competitors are probably going to have to wait another month before the results come in!"

Or Nikosaur squashes all the competitors, while being on top o... oh never mind. :D

"Oh, snap!" is the appropriate response for when somebody gets told.

"I'm on top of this!" qualifies as us getting told, I think.
