Tried it, but I didn't turn out the way I wanted.

I'm not, but who cares. Anybody who takes that kind of exaggeration as a personal attack has serious issues that obviously go way beyond a weight problem.

Well I like cake... does that count for anything?

Fat Princess has hijacked this thread. I would actually think a Monkey Island version of the game would be even more funny. Fat Monkey could be the name. And now I expect someone to photoshop in a monkey from MI into Fat Princess :D

Congratulations to all the winners, although I must admit to being a bit annoyed about Scapetti's copy/update of my photoshop winning. No offence to Scapetti, though. I love his TMI-Guybrush sprite.

That's awesome about the prizes. I forgot I was even entering a contest when I posted in here. I just really wanted to see what a LEGO Lechuck would look like.

I suppose you'd have been even more annoyed if my extremely-late entry had won. :)

Don't be annoyed D: We both won the "Bringin' Retro Back" award, just think of it as a collaborative effort. You for the lab and me for the sprite. And of course our other work, this was just what they figured to be the best showcase for "Bringin' Retro Back" as it shows a little piece of both of our work :)

My main confusion is that they used a slightly out of date version without the inventory items I added :S I believe I added those before the contest ended...

That was soooo retroactively credited by the way. The pun isn't even intended. So yes, Bagge AND Scapetti are now credited with the awesomeness, and thusly, you'll both get a prize.

Also, I said I'd use one of the winning entries as my forum avatar. The first person who cares to make a reasonable-looking avatar version of their entry will be the one I use.

That is, if anybody wants to make one. emotohdear1.png

Ahh, now I can understand why he was annoyed. I would have complained for him too. He definitely deserved a prize for his work :D

I'm going to have a little trouble sending a hires version through. :)

Thanks to TTG and everybody who participated... we really need to do this again some time.

I should mail you enough post-it notes of various colors to reconstruct the image life-size on a wall somewhere.
  • edited August 2009
I'll accept that IF each post-it note is signed by at least one team member ;)

What if they're just spat on by one team member each?

I don't think that would make it past customs.
