Ok, I haven't seen the preview, and I don't plan to... but, for those who have, Does it look good? Did they change anything (maybe gameplay-… morewise)? It's just the first 5 minutes, but, I'm intrigued as to what will have changed between S2 and this. (please try not to spoil some story stuff. If you HAVE to, it's fine. There's probably not much story stuff to talk about)
It looks better than previous Seasons for sure. It's still not all that great, but it seemed to be running smoothly for the most part and definitley looks good for a Telltale game.
If you mean grizzly green jacket dude and friends, probably not. They might be related to what happened or who did it, but not the ones responsible for it.
Possibly. We'll see if they continue using it when they start using their original characters again in The Walking Dead Season Three (and especially if they still use it in their Super Show, as that'll be completely their own characters and setting).
It's possible though the change might have something to do with one of their other registered trademarks. They own the trademark of Telltale Games, but they also own the trademark of Telltale for entertainment purposes. Since Telltale is a more generic term than Telltale Games and was used several times in the past for trademarks that are now dead (and in one case an active trademark for Telltale by Gothic Wine), they might have decided to use the term Telltale Miniseries instead of Telltale Games Miniseries to actively use the Telltale trademark (since you can lose the trademark if you don't actively use it).
Maybe because Michonne is not TellTale's character but rather is Kirkman's. That's my guess.
"TellTale Games Series": Essentially, everyt… morehing but the fictional universe itself is TellTale's creation.
"TellTale Series": TellTale only created the story. Everything else down to characters and canon are another's IP.
If that was the case, they would have also used that on Wolf Among Us by calling it a "Telltale Series" since Bigby is not an original character from Telltale. As Jennifer said, I'm guessing it's just them using their newly trademarked phrase.

Another thing that I just thought about is that the official name of the company is Telltale, Incorporated. Telltale Games is apparently just a brand name and trademark. That might have something to do with it too.

I personally think it's a way bigger step-up from Season One to Season Two. It looks far more cinematic and the action scenes have shown a massive improvement. Like Dojo said it looks more like it's part of the comic.

If I am interpreting this tweet from Samira Wiley, a trailer is coming. She could be referring to the old reveal or the extended preview, but it's worthy noting:
Just did a reverse google image search. Looks like it's from this site:

I'm pretty sure she is reffering to the trailer or preview that are already out but it's highly likely that there will also be a release trailer before launch.

New walker designs and groans and also a slightly changed hud (the arrows and signs during QTEs look slightly different) and such
I did not and wont see the preview, but did they at least improve the engine? does it look sluggish etc...
i'm currently on boom 2, I don't think i'll read to book 11 and whatnot to that point, will that be an issue and a huge spoiler if I play the game?:(

Coolio. I like the look of that stringed-up walker in the first photo.

Wow, Monroe looks really cool.

I'm not sure if she's referring to the new or old trailer in this Tweet, but I do think there is one more trailer coming for the launch of Episode 1.
Monroe looks like I imagine Oceanside to look like: really awesome.
I took that as her referring to either the Extended Preview or the Teaser Trailer from December.
The last one reminds me of the Do Lung bridge scene from Apocalypse Now.
Pre-Ordered and I talked to my boss to have the 23rd off so YEAH!!!
I'm pretty sure she is reffering to the trailer or preview that are already out but it's highly likely that there will also be a release trailer before launch.
Ugh... The wait
