I just decided to take a quick peek at the steam discussions for Michonne, and as expected, they're already pretty terrible. And the best pa… morert? The discussion section for Michonne hasn't even been up a full day.
Why is it that steam discussions are somehow able -- without fail -- to pull all of the stupid people, assholes, and stupid assholes together into one huge trash-bin of a forum? I have never seen a single game that has a good steam discussion section. Ever.
I mean sure, there's some good questions or relatively sane posts that get made time to time, but that hardly makes up for the other 90% that is just terrible.

So I am feeling my shield lowering slightly. A part of me want to buy this game because I want to do my monthly Telltale routine again. Being able to look forward to another Telltale episode. To have something to look forward to every month. But another part of me are feeling reluctant about playing Michonne's story.

Oh I love Michonne. She is a badass character. But the stakes aren't as high because we all know that her and Pete will survive their ordeal. As for what they have shown for now, the story doesn't really appeal to me.

Why? You don't like Michonne or you don't feel like the massacre theme is going to work or...?

I have played the Wolf Among Us. But comic book stuff aside, it was a whole new setting that I was totally unfamiliar with. That was what attract me to the game. To play as Bigby and watch how the fables opperate in their own small corner on our world.
If you are a comic reader, then you'll certainly look at Michonne in a different way, even if the story itself isn't that appealing. She will have a little more depth, so to speak, as you will have known all she went through, but most importantly, everything inside her own head —the thoughts of course— which she doesn't show very often.

So you shouldn't really have any issues with Michonne then?
The thing about the mini-series is that the majority of the characters are original, so the stakes are high for them. I would try to forget who will live like the Wolf Among Us and let the game play itself (not like sitting there at a hub doing nothing) but like let the game guide you and take you on a ride.

Hell no. It has only 3 episodes as opposed to 5 and it has an established Comic character at its center who we know is going to survive the game. That's a lot of pressure man.
I would say to this, don't "expect" Michonne to be compared to anything else. It is what it is and you'll either like it or not.
I think too often, people expect or compare one thing to another and if it isn't as good as something they really liked, then they say it sucked. Or people tend to delve into the discussions and let others opinions or expectations dictate what the game "should" be. then when the game doesn't deliver what people "expected" then they are disappointed. Go into it with a fresh and open mind of your own and hopefully you will enjoy it for your own reason's.
Job just tweeted this and confirmed that Cissy Jones (who played Katjaa) will be a villain in the game.

episode 4 = WHY DID YOU MAKE THREE SEPARATE POSTS
Because it looks so awesome at how seperated and terrible the episodes really are
Why do I get that a lot.

carry on
You are right, I am.
I like ya man, cheers. You are a truly good person. I like you.

Can we please do that
Funny.
I was about to mention the Steam forum being rather great for this title at the moment. I've found myself deleting a few posts.

But did knowing that Bigby and Snow would have lived take away from your enjoyment?
No, it didn't take away my enjoyment of the game.

Hmm...You make a good point. Thanks, for easing my mind.
Want another reason to ease your mind, or should I say, screw it over?

Love is blind, so they say. And happening on a boat no less.

"Where to, miss?"
"To the stars"
Are we expecting this to be as good as TWD Season 1?
I expect nothing from anything.

Last time someone wanted a game to be like S1 it was boycotted because it wasn't good enough. Cough Cough Season 2.
Expectations are a bitch and can ruin your experience if the game doesn't meet them even if it's a really great work.
That comic background is AWESOME!!
Huh. That's interesting.
Also that comic background!!!
The comic background does look cool, here is a slightly lager pic of it from the tweet.
