Best voice actress and voice actor?

Ok, so all games from Telltale has an amazing and talented voice casting. But i'm talking about Game of Thrones. These are my favorites:

My favorite voice actress is definitely Laura Pulver, who voices Lady Elissa Forrester, her voice is so amazing, and she plays Elissa with so much talent and passion. When Elissa make Rodrik promise that he will defend the house against anyone, i had goosebumps, she's just amazing XD She's my favorite NPC, by the way.

And my favorite voice actor is Brian George, who voices Royland Degore, and he slays as Royland. Royland looks like he's always angry and ready to fight, and Brian knows exactly how to do it. But he knows how to play Royland when he's touched as well, especially when Duncan sends Gared to the Wall.

But what about you guys? What's your favorite voice actor and actress? And why° There can be only one voice actor and actress, that's the only rule for this topic. Bye, people!

PS:Sorry about my TERRIBLE english, i'm brazilian.

  • Rodrik's VA is amazing. I could seriously listen to him talk all day. :3

  • Man... best voice actor? That's a hard one, as everyone really has done a great job, characters from the show as well though if I had to pick the best voice role from the show, it would Ramsay, he is still scary as hell. But for original characters, damn, Royland always does seem angry and ready to fight which fits his character perfectly. Elissa Forrester is voiced well by of all people Irene Adler from Sherlock, blew my mind believe me. All the playable characters are done really well, Rodrik in particular is voiced to perfection by Russ Bains. I could go on for just about everybody, its a stellar cast, nobody has done a poor job yet, quite impressive and Telltale has only used one of there standard voice actors.

  • I would say the Maester's voice actor is pretty great.

  • Rodrik's VA and Gwyn's VA (even though people think she does a horrible accent for Gwyn, she's Laura Bailey so that automatically makes her the greatest.)

  • Sacha Dhawan has done a fantastic job as Gryff, hate the character, but the voice actor has done phenominal.

  • Laura Bailey is such a great VA, she is Helena Harper in Resident Evil 6 and Chun Li in SF IV!

  • And Fiona in TFTBL, Aunty Greenleaf and Rachel in TWAU, kid Trunks in DBZ, Lucina in Smash 3DS and Wii U also the Fire Emblem games, AND SO MUCH MORE

    Yes, I'm a Laura Bailey fanboy ;_;

  • Gared and Elissa's VA's are the best.

  • Ludd's, Gryff's and Britt's VAs are great, Gared's, Gwyn's, Croft's and Duncan's are good too, but not the best, in my opinion. And Rodrick's VA is really cool, especially when he is calm and confident. He sounds like a true lord should sound. It isn't so great when he is angry.

  • Asher's VA and Beska's VA.

    1. Rodrik Forrester.
    2. Elaena Glenmore.
    3. Arthur Glenmore because his voice is badass.
    4. Gared Tuttle.
    5. Asher Forrester.
    6. and I should add Mira here.
  • All of the voice actors and actresses does an amazing job.

For the voice actors, I have to pick Rodrik. His voice actor Russ Bain has an amazing range. He can be strong and commanding, which he is while talking to his men. He can be gentle and soft-spoken, which he is when he talks to his family and Eleana. The moment that I would like to mention, it is in episode 4. When Ryon was on the floor after Ludd shove him aside, Rodrik desperately call for Ryon to take his hand. You can hear his voice breaks. It really hit me when I heard the tone of his voice.

For the voice actresses, I'd say it is Beskha. I just love the raw emotions that Toks Olagundoye is able to put in her voice. Especially in episode 4, where she has to put a lot of emotions into her dialogues.

  • I'd agree with the general consensus on here--most of the VA's do a great job. But in terms of the "best," it has to be Rodrik (Russ Bain) he's pitch perfect at everything. He sells defiant anger (e.g against Gryff), melancholic (scenes with Elissa and Talia), and lordly (any council scenes).

But speaking of Gryff, Sacha Dhawan is also incredible. He brings Gryff to life perfectly, and makes you hate him, (and depending on if you maim him) even feel a bit sorry for him. Purely through the voice work alone.

Other honourable mentions, are Asher (Alex Jordan) he's great at selling those smarmy, charming and badass lines. Talia too, with her song. Ah, forget it, I could go on forever here.

Basically all the voice actors deserve props :)

I have to agree with this, i think he did a great job with Gryff's voice.

Sacha Dhawan has done a fantastic job as Gryff, hate the character, but the voice actor has done phenominal.

All our performers all amazing! It's a privilege to work with such a tremendous cast. Makes my job so fun and rewarding.

Also want to give props to our recording studios OMUK and Side UK in London, Studiopolis in LA, and Pomann Sound in NYC. Great engineers and facilities make all the difference for performance and audio quality.

  • Sacha Dhawan as Gryff easily one of the greatest performances in a Telltale Game.

    I'd say Talia for female

  • Russ Bain ftw. Dude's not even a native Yorkshireman and he's able to pull off the accent 100%, not to mention that his range is just brilliant. I'm really surprised he hasn't gotten more work up til now. Sacha Dhawan (Gryff) would get second place for me.

Also props to Lena Headey as Cersei in the game, who's able to reproduce her show performance brilliantly. Same for Iwan Rheon.

If asked who had the nicest/most pleasant to listen to voice, though, I'd go for Mira or Sera.

  • Wow, how did I not mention him in particular? He is BEYOND impressive, if you choose to stand up to him, you can hear the fear in his voice. And the beating scene is so well acted, he goes from insulting, to a bit of insulting, to saying enough, to crying out in pain, to yelling about his eye, to crying out that he yields, to just plain crying. The voice work makes that scene all the more satisfying.

Sacha Dhawan has done a fantastic job as Gryff, hate the character, but the voice actor has done phenominal.

  • Geoff Leesley does an outstanding job as Ludd and Laura Pulver is amazing as Lady Forrester.

  • Honestly, I cant name one bad voice actor in GoT. They are all so impressive. My favourite has to be Rodrik's VA though. His voice is so badass and he does such a great job projecting emotion in his voice.

Not to sound like a bastard, but I feel like Laura Bailey's portrayal of Gwyn isn't quite up to scratch.

Don't get me wrong, I love her for all the amazing voices she's provided in various other games. But whenever there's a scene with Gwyn, she seems to sound a little off. It sounds more Australian than anything else. Surely I can't be the only one that hears that?

It'd be easier to select one person who isn't a great voice actor, and even then it's still pretty difficult.

The voices of Ethan, Rodrik, Royland, Gared, Ludd, etc.) all do an outstanding job to match the face and personality of their character.
As it stands, I'll probably have to go with Gryff.

The women voice actors are good too, but I'm meh on my selection

  • That's what you get when you hire a non-British actor/actress to Game Of Thrones voice acting...

Not to sound like a bastard, but I feel like Laura Bailey's portrayal of Gwyn isn't quite up to scratch. Don't get me wrong, I love her f

  • Ludd and Gryff Whitehill have done amazing, but overall the game has picked really good voice actors/actresses. I think Gared's VA kinda overdoes it at times and Rodrik's was a bit meh in Ep4, but overall they have picked some talented people.

    1. Rodrik
    2. Elaena
    3. Gared
    4. Arthur
    5. Mira
    6. Gwyn
    7. Royland
    8. Asher
    9. Sera
    10. Beskha
  • Ludd's voice actor is great

  • The only person who sticks out to me as not great is Laura Bailey as Gywn Whitehill, its just the accent, she can't seemingly keep it going for a full conversation. But even that isn't bad, its just not to the high level everyone else is at.

  • This guy

Something about how he said "Pathetic" has really woken up warmth in my heart and it sticked out from all the other voices!!!

  • Rodrik's voice actor sounds great; Lady Forrester's great, also fun because that actress was in Sherlock as Irene; Ludd Whitehill is pretty priceless, too. But most of all, Sera's voice drives me craaazy; it has that slightly nasaly huskyness (or whatever) with those fryish creaks... Gods, that really works for me.

  • Oh my god they're all so great... I really like Duncan/Gregor's voice actor.

  • "You really ARE a pig farmer aren't you?" >:D

This guy Something about how he said "Pathetic" has really woken up warmth in my heart and it sticked out from all the other voices!!!

  • Ludd Whitehill and Rodrik are by far the best to listen to, especially together. It is gold when they have a scene together. The highpoint scene for me was the highlight of the series so far. (I haven't played Episode 5 so that could change )

  • My favourites are Geoff Leesley (Ludd Whitehill) and Martha Mackintosh (Mira).

  • Don't Forget Troy Baker :) I'm a Troy Baker fanboy too.God He's Amazing the Best VA I know so far and yeah Laura Bailey is good too and Ashley Johnson, she plays the cutest little robot ever and she did great playing has Ellie in The Last Of Us
