I know right. She has a nose, mouth and two ears. Just like most Asians... Total asian features....

It's not as broad as that.

Clementine's eyes are incredibly almond shaped, which is why a lot of people mistake her for being Asian. Also, for some reason, her skin color doesn't match an African american tone, which is also why people mistake her.

But, yeah. Clementine is definitely black. No Asian has ringlet thick hair.

Hmm, Well, From what I saw, He resembles Alvin a lot more than Carver, But it could just be Rebecca's gene's in play. Either way, I think it

  • Hey, don't get all pissed at me, it's not my fault. I'm just informing you about information that I KNOW. Bottom line, Clementine is black. And it was not Clementine's voice actress who said that during the interview. I would have remembered Melissa's name.

  • I think he is Carver's son, but who cares. Clem will tell him that he is named after his father.

  • Scarred for life.

  • How the fuck is she black Clementine is white as vanilla Ice cream

Clem is asian dafuq She's black.

  • That's a fault on Telltale's part. They made a black girl look white.

  • Telltale literally made her white as hell, and her father is pretty dark while her mother is light. But not as light as Clementine.

"White as hell"? What are you talking about? She's clearly shaded light brown.

her father is pretty dark while her mother is light. But not as light as Clementine.

As I mentioned earlier, you'd have to be from buttfuck, Vermont or live in a whole other country to be as clueless to think that black Americans don't differ greatly in complexion. Clementine could have had two very dark skinned parents and been even lighter than she is. It happens. It's not uncommon in real life at all.

Clementine was extremely white in Season 1, and looked more orange/peachy in Season 2.

Of course they differ in complexion. Clementine's, however, doesn't look in the tone scale considering she's extremely white. I'm not saying she's not black.

"Tone Scale" as in human overall skin tone or black skin tone?

  • Not really. Look at the hair and eye color. Also in some shading, she's darker than Rebecca .

That's a fault on Telltale's part. They made a black girl look white.

  • A lot of black people look "white". It's an unwritten rule that if you have even one black ancestor you're considered black.

  • Eye color doesn't determine race. And I've never seen her darker than Rebecca in any lighting.

Not really. Look at the hair and eye color. Also in some shading, she's darker than Rebecca .

  • Yeah, but the chances of that happening are slim to none. Two dark-skinned parents don't usually have a light-skinned baby.

Not necessarily. He could be lighter skinned and get darker or just be lighter than his parents, like say maybe his grandfather. Genetics are complicated.

  • Im sure its not unheard of though. As has been mentioned, we come in all shades.

  • Neither Rebecca nor Alvin knew who Lee was, so they wouldn't name the baby after someone who had no type of relation to them.

I'm still pissed we couldn't name the baby Lee

  • Not always, because that's like saying since your great x10 grandfather was black, you're black.

It's Carvers. I'm pretty sure AJ would be a lot darker than he is if Alvin was the father. It says Carver is the father on the TWDG wiki page too.

  • I think AJ's father is Alvin only because I don't think anyone is dumb enough to have sex during an apocalypse. Then again, kenny caught jane and luke.

  • A lot of people go by that.

  • "Blue eyed people have blue eyed babies" WRONG. Genetics and stuffs. In this case, Blue eyes are the recessive gene, which are less likely to show up in the 1st grade offspring. This is because a blue eyed Rick would be, er. gettin it awn with a brown eyed-Rick's gal in one local- Sorry, I forgot the bi- VERY NICE female's name. ANYWAYS, blue eyes aren't common when Blue eyes + Brown eyes mating is going on. It's undetermined unless we know Shane's or Rick's -gal in one local-'s parents eye colors. If one of Shane's parents are blue eyed, Judith's baby daddy can still be Shane. Unless gal in one local's parents eye colors are blue. We have a problem since we now don't know the baby daddy's identity now. Bam. Wuuut.

Both Lori and Shane have brown eyes, Rick's the only one with blue eyes. Judith also has blue eyes. It's more of a possibility that blue eyed people have blue eye babies, so...? I guess thinking she's Rick's isn't such a bad opinion.

  • And stupid. Her ethnicity should be obvious to everyone who have played the game.

However there is a possible reason for her light complexion. I have read from several places that the entertainment industry prefers lighter skinned black women, while it's all right for men to be darker skinned. Apparently black women with lighter complexion get the bigger and better roles. I don't know if this preference has affected to Clem's character design or not.
