Alvin Jr could be the next protagonist of the walking dead future games?

Not on season 3 of course.. i mean after Lee in season 1, clementine can't be the only protagonist for every walking dead game series right? Someones gonna have to take her place..Not that i don't like clementine.. just predicting is all.. maybe on the final episode of season 3, clemetine gets bitten then got into a familiar situation like Lee and then asks Alvin Jr to shoot/leave her .. what do you think?

I would have wanted Sarah to be the protagonist of S3. And Clementine should not die, she is from the beginning. She is dead, GAME OVER.

We don't even know if there will be any future seasons after S3, this could very well be the final season of Telltale's The Walking Dead. Also, the game is restricted to the comic book storyline, which means it cannot go past where they are in the comics (which is only about another 2-3 years). There's no way AJ is going to be old enough for him to be the PC.

  • No way, I really hope not.,.. its bad enough that Telltale doesn't give us a say in whether to take the baby or not, its worse if that unreal monstrosity we're forced to care for actually replaces the Clementine we knew from Seasons 1 and 2.

I'm doubtful, as that would require a radical timeskip that would potentially go past the amount of time passed in the Walking Dead comics which Telltale sticks to for source material. If people disliked a 16 month timeskip in Walking Dead Season 2, it would be that much worse for a timeskip of several years after the conclusion of Season 3.

  • to shoot/leave her

    Imagine baby Aj shooting Clementine.

  • No thanks. If Clem dies, the walking dead is over. It's always been her story... even when we were playing as Lee! He was needed to create the bond and prepare Clem so that she could survive on her own. There is absolutely no need to change protagonist.

As much as I would love a few DLCs to find out what happened to various characters, (Mainly Christa tbh) I wouldn't want to take over as someone new. Besides realistically the chances of Alvins survival are very slim (not to mention the huge time skip that would have to accure). Clem was smart and able to adapt but babies cry and that attracts walkers. Food is scarce enough as it is and it's not like he can afford to be picky or even eat solids.

  • As long as I don't have to suffer with Clem as the protagonist again, I'm alright with it.

  • Clementine pulling a Lee is ridiculous unless if it's in a different setting and she sacrifices herself to tell Alvin to run. However, you gon have to wait in a couple of years when the Comics get 6 or 7 years ahead.

  • I would have one of my Saltlick Bros saltlick me.....Not sure how a Saltlick saltlicking a Saltlick would go though....

  • Maybe if you got Kenny to drop them from high enough? Maybe?

In s3 older clem will be taking care of aj and teaching him things just as lee did her, story goes full circle. I know it's just a prediction BUT it's like a given. :p

  • Nah. Assuming Season 3 is the final installment in Clementine's story, I'd like some DLC's that show other characters that were never brought up again, (Lilly, Christa, Molly, all of 400 Day's group, etc.)

  • Telltale TWD is the story and character journey of Clementine (a much more interesting protagonist than Rick or Carl) - the DLCs can do whatever they want, but they rarely make an real impact on the main story and so aren't that important (unless Michonne meets Clem...) - but we the players started with the story of Lee's redemption and ultimate sacrifice to save the girl who would become the protagonist of the next season - after that we see her show her potential as a survivor (and really the only competent member of the cabin group) during the late phase of her childhood - in the next game she should be older, not just prepared by Lee from S1 but also more mature and formidable from her traumatic experiences in S2.

  • I really dislike AJ, and don't want it in the next season. They should pretend S2 never happened.

You don't need a radical time skip. It could be fun to try to escape the walkers, when protagonist is just learning how to walk.

That's the thing that sucks SO bad. If there were to be any time skips, they'd be so limited.

I would love that. Friendship comes back again, but if clem dies, im gonna tell my friend, "Dont invite me to play this anymore!"

  • True. Shoulda been a good time skip around 2011 in our time of course.

  • How can someone "really dislike" a character with no development besides cries and coos? I'm pretty sure making a judgement on a character like that is just jumping the gun excessively.

  • As much as I want to care for clem, she is getting boring.
