Do you think Michonne should have recurring characters from the game series?
Michonne could be an opportunity to bring game and comic series closer together. While I would be fine if Michonne doesn't have any ties to characters of the game series, I think that this is an opportunity to show what happened to some of the characters whose fate was left open, like Christa and/or those 400 Days characters who didn't go with Tavia. However I don't think that major characters like Clem, AJ, Kenny and Jane should make an appearance.
Also it could be a great opportunity for Nate's comeback.

I think it is perfect and probably the last oportunity to show us what happened to Christa and/or Bonnie, Arvo and Mike.
I'll take that bet.
I think Kenny should be in every episode, regardless of whether you kill him or not.
No thanks, the comic characters and game characters need to be kept seperate.
Why? We already had Glenn, Hershel and Shawn in A New Day, so the comics and game aren't completely separate from each other, but the game is a spin-off of the comics.
And I wish those characters were never in the game, I want the game to be the game and the comics to be the comics, let them be different things.
It seems that here we disagree. Personally I think that those characters helped to establish that we are in the Walking Dead universe and not just in some random zombie apocalypse world and I think that Michonne can help to strengthen the tie between the game series and rest of the franchise.
Besides if there are no connection between Michonne and any of the game series characters, then it's hard to explain how your decisions in Michonne could have any effect to Season 3.
Oh god no... Oh please fuck no...
It'd be cool but there might be the problem that if characters like Arvo, Mike and Bonnie returned, players might automatically treat them horribly because of what Arvo did to Clem. Whereas Michonne as a character might not have any reason to treat them horribly because she has no idea who they are, what they did and who Clem is.
Honestly, I'm fine if Michonne DLC won't have any ties with previous games. I understand that some people may want to know what happened with Christa for example but I agree with developers that even in real life we don't always have a chance to find out what happened with someone we once knew. I don't know... like he or she was there but in one moment decided to move on somewhere else and after that won't hear anything from him/her again.
Yeah, I agree. I'm fine with Glenn and Hershel making a cameo appearance in the first episode because, like you already said, they kind of helped us realize that events in the game are set in comic universe.
Also, I've a question - why do you think that Michonne DLC will have any effect in Season 3? Telltale Games already said that this DLC won't have any ties with previous games and also it won't affect Season 3 in any way.
Where did they say that? I haven't seen anything about that in the blog. This seems to indicates that the game series and Michonne are connected: "In our effort to bring the world of the comic and the world of the Telltale series closer together, there is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap."

I think they said it during video interview. I'm might be wrong but this sentence you brought up, it doesn't really mean that this DLC will have any effect on Season 3 or have any ties with previous games. Yeah, it's says that this DLC will bring comics and games closer to each other but it doesn't really mean that this DLC will affect S3. Maybe we will meet characters like Molly, which I doubt it, but I'm pretty sure that they said it won't play any role in Season 3.
It certainly indicates some sort of connection. Back when this blog post was made the common interpretation of the announcement was that Michonne mini-series connects the comics with the Telltale Seasons and that it has similar role in the story as 400 Days had.
But maybe Telltale has clarified that since then.
Some sort of connection, maybe, but like I said it can mean anything. Also that characters from previous games like Molly, Lilly or Vernon will make some kind of cameo. Though I'm not really sure because, like I said, I remember Telltale being asked about any connections to the previous games and/or Season 3 and they said there won't be any. Maybe this tweet will brings some answers. Just before Michonne DLC was officialy announced, he posted this tweet:
That tweet just means that it won't be about Clem and co. Instead it will have a new main cast. Like you said it doesn't mean that there won't be cameos.
Yeah, for now we don't know much. I guess we'll find out once DLC will be released. Although I'm fine if it won't affect Season 3. I mean, how it could? Telltale's main goal with this DLC is to answer one question "What was Michonne doing when she left Rick's group for some time?". Also, I can't see how it may affect S3 because Rick's group at the time when Michonne DLC will take place is a bit too far from Clementine. Like a few states, you know.
Naturally we don't know when and where events of Season 3 are going to take place.
Yeah, we don't and we won't until Michonne DLC will be finished so probably not until 2016.
He's one of those walkers Michonne uses.
I'd actually pay more money for the episodes if that were true hahaha
I feel as if that's be too cheesy.
Uh, yes please!
I agree with you.
As a comic fan, I think it's weak that they had Glenn in it. Then tried to have Vince and it just was weak.
i hope the Michonne series has no effect on the game other then maybe you meet someone from the game. If it's on the boat like the comics say, then this won't make sense to connect.
We need Molly
Yes, I think it would be a great way for them to provide development for characters a lot of people complained about being, well, undeveloped.
That's lazy writing.. And lazy all around. This isn't the real world it is literature
Does anyone remember the Season 4 scene with Michonne going on a walker killing spree? Imagine that in this mini series being the opening scene, but the walkers are instead the 400 days crew, Christa, Nate, Bonnie, Mike and Arvo and there's the answer to our question: "Where are they?" ...I'm kidding.
TeamMolly
No, not Christa.. Everyone else is fine. Hell throw Kenny in there.
You're right. I like Christa, but Kenny definitely can be added to the list.
Maybe Michonne ends up in Wellington... Wherever the heck Wellington is
I wouldn't mind something like that happening. Would be a win-win for TT and the fans. This has potential, of course for a new amazing story, but also tying up loose ends or exploring the old characters like as you said Christa.
Yeah it would get ppl like me to shut up. But then again another way to keep Kenny around
Well I also agreed with the topic creator that the main characters should not show up in this new DLC. Just the "other guys" that didn't get much spotlight in S2, hell even S1, and was left with a unknown status. Could be fun to explore that. Even if it's 1 or 2 characters.
In literature, there were tons of situations when character disappeared without knowing what happened to him/her. Don't act like Telltale have done something no one ever done before. Lazy writing? I don't know. I guess, you're probably think like that because you aren't happy with how they dealt with characters like Christa. I don't know... she has unknown status, not determinant like Molly or Lilly so maybe (or maybe not!) they will introduce her again in S3. If they aren't going to do that then I'm fine with it too.
"I got lucky. Real lucky."
Kenny's beard is ten times longer.
I think it should be Nate, Christa, or Kenny/Jane, Clementine and AJ to make a appearance, or the 400 days crew.
