I'd rather play a character who's actually the leader of a decent sized group who's at war with another group. The in house fighting has run its course, imo.
Because Telltale had even said it themselves that LEE IS NOT FUCKING COMING BACK.
He/She should have gotten it by now, It's been like 2 years and he still doesn't get Lee is dead It's over?
They said it in interviews. And it's pretty much confirmed he's dead by Clementine. People who think Lee is alive and will return are just idiots.
How did you take the news that Lee was going to die at the very end of Episode 5?
Dave: Sean Vanaman, the head writer, told me while we were recording Episode 3. At first I thought he was kidding and when I realised he was serious I was very disappointed. I like Lee Everett. I like playing him, and by that time he was already becoming very popular with fans and I thought it was just a bad idea. But… as an actor… playing Lee after being bitten in Episode 4 and getting through the final scenes in Episode 5, gave me opportunities to touch emotions very few game voices ever have.
Melissa: Uuuuuugghh….that was some sad news indeed! Like Dave, I was told earlier on, maybe even during Episode 2, that Lee was going to not make it in the end. I was bummed then, but became increasingly more bummed, the more we recorded, and the closer I got to our characters! When it was time to record Episode 5, it was not difficult at all to conjure up VERY REAL tears. It also left me feeling very scared for little Clementine! I mean, what the hell is she going to do without her Lee!
I thought Lee was a fantastic character, well thought out and certainly well played. However what the OP has to realise is, this isn't Mario, Donkey Kong or Pokemon.
This is the Walking Dead universe and in this universe, much like our own, you only get one life. Once it's gone, it's gone. You can't just reset the console and begin again.
Yes there are characters that disappear and have a slim chance of returning, but Lee isn't one of them. He either turns to a Walker, or you shoot him. Simple.
You could keep on at telltale if you wish, but they don't listen to people who have constructive criticism, or to people that have a genuine grievance. That's just the way they are. So the chances of them listening to you and doing what you wish, you would have better odds at winning the lottery.
They said it in interviews. And it's pretty much confirmed he's dead by Clementine. People who think Lee is alive and will return are just i… morediots.

If they bring Lee back then season 3 would be screwed, Lee is dead, Clementine confirmed it, nobody is inmune and I don't think TT can decide that, Kirkman is the one who decides I guess, Yeah we know Kenny got real lucky out there but there's 100% more chance to survive a horde of walkers with a bullet or even with a toothpick than surviving a bite, we want a realistic game not a fantasy one, saddly Lee did not get lucky, real lucky, Kenny did, what would be cool would be bringing Back Lilly again so she and Kenny could fight and give us a little bit of Season 1 emotion, Lilly is nice even though she is not the best character to me (personal opinion here) but I think it would be a good idea to bring her up.
People have a lot of love for season 1 and get pissed off when people demand Telltale ruin it by making Lee the only one who can survive a bullet wound to the head or a walker bite.
nah man it would make the game awesome again season 2 was not as good as season one they are straying from the path, plus its funny how angry people get on these forums. if people don't agree and just want to be hateful just don't comment, not you but a majority here.
Even if Telltale could come up with a plausible explanation for Lee's survival, they shouldn't do it. Season 1's ending was so great because… more of the sacrifice Lee made, and the emotions that come with it. Ret-conning Lee back to life would destroy the ending. I've replayed Season 1 a couple of times, and I still well up at the ending. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen if I knew he was coming back.
They could bring him back in a flashback. There was a decent enough time jump between Episode 1 and 2, and they could probably fit in a story between Episode 2 and 3.
Edit: I just realized you made the exact same post, word for word, back in February. For shame.
No, I am just not being stupid. THERE IS NO IMMUNITY TO THE BITE. To make someone immune would go against Robert Kirkman's rules and the rules of the walking dead. And it doesn't speak of my lack of imagination. It speaks to yours that you just want them to bring characters back from season 1 that ARE DEAD. I mean. You're saying that Clementine can shoot a moving target in the head but not one at point blank range? Okay.... I bet you want Carver to return from the dead too.
ONE: WE didn't see Kenny get bit. TWO: WE saw LEE get bit. Then he gets bit some more during the herd scene getting to Clementine. Then he gets shot in the head by Clementine. In series 2 Clementine confirms he's dead and that she shot him. THREE: The writers never said Kenny was dead. FOUR: The writers and the voice actors for LEE AND CLEMENTINE HAVE CONFIRMED HE'S DEAD. HE WAS PLANNED TO DIE FROM THE BEGINNING.
I BET you think Carver can return after that beating he got.
Lee coming back would tarnish the walking dead. Telltale was able to bring kenny back because you didn't see him die. Lee you see him collapse if not shot. And he was handcuffed down while bitten and visibly getting worse. It's obvious he died but I hated how they did it. I loved the first four episodes and then the end of around every corner when he gets bit was a big letdown. It's hard to tell, it's like I was so into the game that when it happened and sealed what was to become in the last episode was something I didn't want. I would've rathered christa or omid to be bit seeing how Lee should've survived but what can you do.
absolutely horrible, horrible idea. I had Clementine end it for him, you do not survive a shot to the head (and I do not think she missed, since Lee made it a point to train her).
Get real, dude. The brutality and bleakness of the series is what makes it so great. If you want a zombie game where you just start back over when you die, go play Dead Rising or Left 4 Dead or something.
Yeah. I like how he said I lacked creativity and imagination when he was asking the writers to not use their creativity and imagination and just exploit something which had been done in season 1.

The fact that so many years later people are still refusing to accept Lee is gone forever despite the games creators confirming it and the voice actor, goes to show how good a character Lee was and proof that Clem couldn't, quite fill his shoes as a protagonist.
Season 2 didn't retain the magic of season 1 because of the absence of the Lee and Clem's relationship which was the spine of the game. TWD isn't just about groups of people surviving in the apocalypse it's groups that have become like family that we read about and see on screen. When someone dies it means something to them and the audience or gamer. Lee and Clem's relationship was believable, we saw it develop. The relationships with Clem and the other characters in season 2.....not so much. There were a lot of time jumps and Clem just didn't seem close to any of the characters to me, let alone as close as she was with Lee despite the fact she had been with Christa longer. I mean, she still dreams about Lee after all this time but seems to get over the loss of Christa and Omid whom she had been with longer.
Season 1 had better writing, better pacing, better character development, better relationship development for the characters and the relationship that made the the game and story stand out from everything else out there, Lee and Clem's. Killing of Lee was was a big mistake but what's done is done!
Personally I think if the game is to continue Telltale should move on from Clem and explore new characters so they could recreate meaning bonding relationships with the characters that are believable like what they had in season 1. New family members fighting to keep each other alive.
Yeah. I like how he said I lacked creativity and imagination when he was asking the writers to not use their creativity and imagination and just exploit something which had been done in season 1.
In my opinion. Rihannon Frater's the Last Days books are quite good. Film wise it would be 28days later and Dawn of the Dead. Games, it would be the Walking Dead, Dead Island, Dying Light.
Comments
Same. That's what I was hoping Season 2 would be like with Cabin Group vs Carver but nope, they butchered that idea
I hope season 3 or at least Michonne does something like that
No. Leave the "Lee is alive!" shtick in shoddy fanfictions where it belongs.
Keep trying hard, they wont listen to you :C
When did telltale said it ? Why didn't we see anything about it ? Is there any website about that ?
They said it in interviews. And it's pretty much confirmed he's dead by Clementine. People who think Lee is alive and will return are just idiots.

Okay. Thanks. I had to see something about his death.
oh my fucking god no
Damn
oh my fucking god yes!
no

tHANK GOD. You may want to ruin TWD but no one else does.
how would this ruin it? you obviously are not very creative and thoughtful about this subject
if Kenny can do the impossible why not Lee? they crossed that line in season one
nah man it would make the game awesome again season 2 was not as good as season one they are straying from the path, plus its funny how angry people get on these forums. if people don't agree and just want to be hateful just don't comment, not you but a majority here.

Guys, just get over it. Lee is dead. He won't come back except if it is a dream sequence like in S2. ._.
Lee Everett, good man, DAMN fine man, powerful heart too, one of the greats.
Cyborg lee for season 3 (Seriously tho no)
Don't you mean Cryborg Lee for those who make threads like this.
Cryborg lee 2016
I would like him to come back, but only in flashbacks and stuff.
Lee coming back would tarnish the walking dead. Telltale was able to bring kenny back because you didn't see him die. Lee you see him collapse if not shot. He's dead... Close the discussion.
And let's not entertain these types of threads anymore.
Yeah. I like how he said I lacked creativity and imagination when he was asking the writers to not use their creativity and imagination and just exploit something which had been done in season 1.
You are right
It was stupid and terrible when Kenny came back. Telltale should learn from their mistakes.
Guys I am really sure on season 3 Lee is coming back Lee is almost important to twd game Clementine too
As a flashback or dream maybe. But he's dead. The writers and voice actors have said so. LEE IS NOT COMING BACK.
On a completely unrelated topic... Love your profile pic. Wallace and Gromit =

Please tell me the the best zombies games or Zombies movies name.
Yes.
FOR FUCKS SAKE. THE WRITERS AND VOICE ACTORS CONFIRMED HE WAS DEAD.
