About cutting Saritas arm off...I cut it :/ I didn't know what to do :'( What do you guys do?
Oh,and I'm also mad that you only see a small cameo of each 400 days character,I wish it would've been more.

EDIT: After playing episode 4, SPOILER ALERT i think not cutting it wouldve been better :(

  • I second I saw that her hand was bit I wanted to chop that fucking thing off.
  • I cut Sarita's arm off. And if Alvin survived episode 2, he is beaten by Carver and he covers for you while you escape after setting off the speaker system and is shot by a guard

I chopped her hand off. Still, the preview didn't really help that much. Well, at least Kenny isn't mad at me.

If Alvin lives through ep 2, he'll spend most of his time in Carver's office, getting beat up for most of the episode. He will die, but he takes one of Carver's guards with him.
  • i think she will become a determined character, shell die if you killed the walker, shell live if you chopped her arm off

I had to pause and think about it.

At first I was determined to cut the arm off, out of reflex.
But then I thought she would lose too much blood to make it out of there alive.
Unlike Lee, she had no string around it that would slow her blood loss.

And being inside a walker herd might be a bad place to lose an arm and tons of blood.

I figured - as stupid as that sounds - that she'd die this or that way and
wanted to save her the pain and keep the group moving...
  • On the ol' chopping block she went. Shook me up though. It was actually like a split second decision for me. Then the *raises hand* AAAAAAAAAAH.
  • She yells while looking at it,and it's ends the episode. What happens if you don't cut it?

If you don't cut it, the walker dies and Sarita stares at her bite in disbelief.
I'm sure she knows what that bite means.

    Poor Kenny will go crazy.....

  • I cut her arm off, she'd have to get it cut off anyways or else she'd die regardless, so might as well cut it off while she's already in pain instead of giving her more pain later, right?

I fucking hated not being able to talk to the 400 days characters aside from Bonnie. I would have loved to tell Becca "fuck you", Wyatt "thanks/alright" and Russel "lighten up". I'd probably not get the chance to say much to Shel after mouthing off to her little sister, though.
  • No doubt here, I cut it off...
  • I cut it off. I wasn't thinking straight and didn't think about the blood loss, but I still think it was for the best.

Well, if she dies because I cut her arm off.... Fuuuuck.
  • And then die in episode 4 or 5 because the story is linear.

  • I would have like the option to talk to the other characters from 400 Days also, and just stick it to Becca for being a bitch

I cut her arm off, she'd have to get it cut off anyways or else she'd die regardless, so might as well cut it off while she's already in pai

  • I chopped it off the second I saw it, glad they gave the option to do that.
  • I chopped it off. Hopefully she lives and Kenny is grateful. I mean that was a heck load of blood comin' out her arm.
  • I cut it off, but I feel like she's going to die anyway, I mean, the hatchet was covered in walker blood that is now mixed with her blood.
  • I was like... Why is it taking so long? Ohhhh we have to cut it don't we?.... Okay screw it, *chops arm* then Sarita screams. THE END! lol
  • I cut it off as soon as the option popped up. She got bitten, and if she wanted to live that arm had to come off one way or another. I really hope she lives, and not just for Kenny. I like her.
  • Chopped it off. She had no chance of living otherwise. Hell, she may still bleed out and croak but it's more a chance than she would have had otherwise. Will Kenny understand though?
  • I chopped it off.
After ending the episode I felt sick.
And that's a great thing coming out of an game!
  • I shot her.
  • Cut it off.

She's dead if you don't anyway. At least it improves her odds of survival just a bit.
  • Wait... you can do that?

    I shot her.

I cut it the moment i got the chance.
  • I cut it off without a second thought. I think that Sarita is probably going to die for character development in the next episode though :c

Yeah, if you took the gun from Alvin you could shoot Sarita. ;)

    Wait... you can do that?

  • say whaaaaaaaaaaaa?!?! O_o?! I'm going to have to replay the episode then

    I shot her.

  • I killed the walker. I figured, she'd die from blood loss, or lose consciousness from the shock. I didn't want her to die before she could say her goodbye to Kenny. I know he already went through this thing with Duck, but at least they can share one last conversation while they're both fully conscious before she passed.
  • Everyone should cut it or she end up like uncle Pete
  • Gonna wait til the whole season is done and then I'm gonna try that for myself! Love this game!

  • Some people can pretend that certain choices can happen, but I can't confirm it's false.

  • That would be a bit of a plot hole now, wouldn't it? We all know that you don't turn from a bite, you get a fever and die from it, but you'll turn when you're dead, regardless if you're bitten or not. I wonder how they'll handle this predicament in the next episode.

  • I cut it off too, but during the credits I thought, "hey, that hatchet was covered in walker blood... wouldn't that mean getting cut with it would be the same as getting a giant walker bite?"

I chopped it off. I figured she'd have a better chance if it was cut off immediately, and the virus couldn't spreed. Also, I could just get it over with. She never saw it coming, and that's probably for the best.
  • I cut it off, too, but I don`t have much hope for her. She'll probably die next episode or the last :(
  • But doing that in the middle of that herd is pretty insane. I cut it too, but she will probably bleed to death now.

I cut her arm off, she'd have to get it cut off anyways or else she'd die regardless, so might as well cut it off while she's already in pai

  • Was I seriously the only one here that saved the arm? Wowzers!
  • i came to the same conclusions. The timing is clearly why Lee died but Reggie lived, but a big mess of walkers smelling fresh blood from a stump that we wouldn't have time to tie off seemed more threatening in the moment than waiting a little while.

I'm sure that the difference in outcomes between Lee and Reggie is why we were presented with this choice. If people question why Clem chopped the arm, she can talk about Lee waiting too long. I'll be curious to see how it plays out since this is shaping up to be one of the few choices where the percentage heavily favors one choice over the other..

  • Nope, but the percentage is heavily in favor of chopping. I killed the walker since a massive amount of fresh blood from a stump we couldn't tie off was not the thing we needed in the thick of a herd. The inclusion of Reggie, who lived because he was amputated immediately as opposed to Lee, also made me ready for something like this. As bad as a bit is, I guess I figure Sarita's chances are a bit better if we can get to safety first.

  • Not a likely chance she'll live, though - even if you cut off her arm (they have no supplies to tend to the wound; and Clementine used a blade that was smeared with walker gore). The chances of Sarita getting infected are pretty high.
