I suppose this wou… moreld be rather unoriginal, but I can't help but think how cool this would be if this was set in the games story-line and you play as yourself thrown into Lee's group. You could end up changing the story a bunch depending on your choices, maybe even end up in the season 2 events if you were lucky and did well enough. Maybe as a separate game? I dunno :P

Like I said I appreciate the sentiment, but please I doubt the moderators would want to ban me right away, even if I was doing something wrong by making this game, and sharing it with the community. Even so, I'll speak with them myself instead of having users risk themselves for me.

NOOOO! I'd hate to see you banned! I probably wouldn't even log in anymore, I wasn't as pumped to join the forum until I saw this game I immediately registered. I've stuck around to see the development and I don't want to see you banned for making a game like The Walking Dead. Heck there are a lot of fanmade games out there and all because you want to post it to the community doesn't make it wrong! I mean wow It's FANBASED as in you are a fan of the Walking Dead, and there are little to no references to the original game at all. Is it possible to add background effects (sound effects, etc) or something? It definitely would help witthe atmosphere, also background pictures if possible, that would be 10/10.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it. Yes I've finished around 90% of the project, with just a few more scenes and some audio to re-do (because sometimes files like to just disappear) and make. The name thing is quite annoying mainly because it's extremely hard to get around it. Especially when a character is trying to give everyone in the group commands and such.

Actually yes there are sound effects and music that I am working on. Depending on your choices whilst you read them you'll hear sounds and all sorts that show the outcome of your choice or is just there to help set a certain mood. The online version is quite glitchy at times with sound. Some people claim they can hear music and such, others claim they can not.
Also there may be some file size issues with uploading, considering the file size is quite large for a text based adventure game with music and sound. So I may make the file and sound availble to download, so long as you download the 'Quest' software: HERE
You can use the 'Quest' software to open '.quest' files, which is the file for the text-based adventure game.
