Yeah I just knew when in E3 if Clem told him that Lee figured that out,he'll say "Thank you,Lee,"
BUT if you were a bad friend with him in S1 he will stay silent and turn away.
For me random shit happens in my game:
-Troy appears in the cabin instead of Carver
-Alvin is still alive and he came with us in E4

I think they damaged his once great character enough. At this point it's just beating a dead horse. If they're going to make a DLC I think it should be about Javier and his backstory so we have some insight on who he is before we play as him.

In their defense, they didn't revive this thread, someone else did. I also rarely look at the date a comment/thread was posted because I usually just assume that the thread is new if it's on the front page. But I have noticed an increase in thread revives lately, which is very annoying.

He survived 'cause fan service, no real reason for him to survive plot-wise.
You didn't circle the gate, the most glaringly obvious escape route had Kenny not locked it.
Kenny didn't need luck to live through that, he needed to not want to kill himself.
I always thought he got out, or in by climbing into the sewers, but the window theory seems more plausible.
