  • It's not like that... I just feel more empathy for things that really matter.

    What matters?

    I don't because I can't. Tears don't come.

Well, I guess I could pause the game, get drunk and listen purposely to sad songs while reflecting on my life failures and missed opportunities, start to cry and rush to the screen again with tears flowing at last, but that would feel... kinda forced.

Because I watch/play drama to be entertained. Flawless logic.

After all, games like L.A. Noire were a complete financial and critical failure, right?!

    Entertainment...?

  • I had to re-watch it about 4 times just to get the tears out of my system.

  • Alvin's death.

It was heartbreaking to see him sacrifice himself to Hank and telling Clementine to look after his family. ;(

  • I don't think I've ever cried at a video game before. I've welled up, but I've never cried.

  • Friends and family.

  • The only time I've ever cried because of a video game was in season 1 with Lee's death. Judging by all the recent Telltale tweets and the trailer we had for episode 5, I think it's safe to say that next time I'll be crying for a video game will be next tuesday for episode 5.

  • Haha, Yeah it really is weird how some things end up :3 .

But I just really loved the Modern Warfare series, in my opinion it beats World at War, Black Ops, and Ghosts.

  • wow I never cried

with lee only a tear but I don't think that's crying

  • When I first played no time left, it completely wrecked me. I was crying so much. And it still makes me sad everytime I think about it, or every time Clem refernces it in season 2. The Walking Dead is the only game I've ever cried in...

Mass Effect 3 fucked me up.

I played the whole Mass Effect trilogy extremely late, like, last month kind of late. So, I already had all of the DLC, and because of that, the ending wasn't that bad for me. So, I chose the synthesis ending, and just...Goddamn.

When Anderson died, a single tear went down my face. And when it cut to the memorial wall, and Liara started crying, I cried. And when she hugged EDI, That crying turned into fucking sobbing.

  • when lee dies obviously

  • Deaths, emotional music and the like, examples come from Lee's death, MGS3 & 4's endings, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations makes me tear up too. Even though it's (for the most part) a happyish ending.

  • Two moments always get me to cry in gaming, just in case #SPOILERS

1: Lee says goodbye (Episode 5: No Time Left)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBD7Ir04Sis

It just always get's to me, no matter how many times I play the game I can never hold back the tears in that one scene.

2: Admiral Anderson Death (Mass Effect 3)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mSzuhLGH1o

The way he just says he's proud of you as you look out across space in his final moments, it's just too much to bare.

  • I rarely cry. Sometimes I mist up a bit and get a lump in my throat, like at the end of season 1 when Lee was so close to death that he couldnt even move anymore. That wrecked me. ::Sniff::

    Whose death makes you cry?

    Anderson's? Or Shepard's?

I get emotional at Lee's death, and the end of Mass Effect 3 (even though the ending was awful, the death scene of a certain character hits

  • I know that feel :'(

End of S1E5. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

  • There's nothing wrong with crying, no matter how often you do it, and no matter when you do it, crying is actually good since it helps clean your eyeballs :3

I cry at almost everything, even the parts that aren't sad. I seriously think there's something wrong with me XD

  • I still don't think that Bloody Mary is dead :c

  • So far, TWD is the only game that has made me very emotional. Granted, more than half of all the games I've played have been on N64, SNES, or Windows 95, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

  • Yeah, I hope so.

I hardly ever cry, usually just get feels. But moments that tend to make me tear up are the ending of season 1/Lee's death, Mordin's death in Mass Effect 3 and the ending of Final Fantasy X.

Only idiots cry about it, how could they cry about a video game ??? It is not real!!!

  • Shepard's. I grew extremely attached to my Shepard, and a combination of the music and the flashbacks to the characters made me really sad :(. Even though the game had its flaws, one thing that it did really well was emotional death scenes.
