  • You can kill them both, Don't pick up the gun and watch kenny kill jane, and then shoot Kenny. That is the most traumatizing ending for me

Yeah, while I'm glad the big pizza vs ice cream thing wasn't what EVERYONE expected, something involving Kenny and Luke at some point in the episode would have been nice.

  • I want to find them in the future and get revenge, Carver style.

Yeah, I was disappointed in Bonnie and Mike for that. Which is funny, since I really liked them in Episode 4. Oh, how our loyalties shift.

  • Ah he dies either way? Bonnie was mean to me when I covered him. Stupid woman did not realise I was saving him from walkers garghh

  • Luke freaked out. That shortens your survival BY A TON.

You can survive 3 minutes or so without air.. you freak out .. like 30 seconds.

Can I ask, if you choose to cover Luke, why he drowns so fast and yet Bonnie, who fell in at the same time, pops out afterwards without any

  • Sort of like Ben, if you saved him.

Damn Sucks to hear about his fate. My Clem has a crush on him so it's gonna be a blow when he kicks it.

  • So was Kenny, it was just their sadness

    shibbymary posted: »

Really? Wish I had known that. I choose to cover Luke cuz I figured going over there would put more strain on the ice, and she was HORRIBLE to me after he died. Next play through Im gonna let her drown >:(

  • I'm pissed but i dont hate telltale. Well i kinda do, but i dont. That probably makes no sense. When i saw luke drowning if you chose to help him, i was like CLEMENTINE SWIM DOWN DONT JUST STARE AT HIM.

Yeah, I saw that too. FUCKING TELLTALE.

Want some happy news? I'm writing the sequel. I've had it planned since finishing Growing Pains and I was waiting until the finale was over to begin writing it.

And good news, Luke will still be alive! ;_; and not sitting at the bottom of a lake playing cards with a walker.

I'm just going to leave this here in case if hasn't been already. Somebody posted it on tumblr about a week or so before the episode came out. I both laugh and cry at this:

And yeah, I miss Luke. I really wanted him and Clem to be family and for him to learn to take care of the widdle baby T.T

Edit: Oh and here's something to help you guys cope. I find humor helps with the pain of losing a favorite character at times like these.

It's interesting that the calmest, possibly one of the most heartwarming scenes of the season (the campfire) was when he was around. I loved that we got to hear more about him on his birthday, to have a laugh one last time with him. As soon as he died, that's when everything went down hill for the group.

Poor Luke. He was a great guy. He was everyone's beacon of hope and when he died, everyone was turning on each other. He reminded me a lot of Lee. May you rest in peace, and live an afterlife with ease.

  • Bland? He wants to lead them well but messes up, is too moral to lead in that world and yet is very good with ideas so doesn't seem bland. I thought he was on occasion but they fixed that imo, Carver should've been more interesting, true

Honesly I never cared about Luke I always thought he was an bland character just like all the others except Clementine, Kenny, Bonnie, Jane

  • True, they both lashed out at me, but Kenny didn't then decide to steal all our supplies, our only working car and then say "just leave her" when I got shot.

He's a male stripper to me.

  • Lee won't let it happen.

Thanks, and I can't wait to write it all. I find writing fics helps me with getting closure or when I'm sad. I think writing it will help me get over Luke and a lot of other things in the finale too ;_; although I still need to finish going over the last bits of Part 3 on Growing Pains [oh god, I'm dreading getting to that dream scene with Clem under the ice and seeing her parents trapped now. Oh crap! I better be drunk when I do that little part >.< I can't handle this pain! Why'd you have to go Luke, you'd of been awesome siblings!]

  • I really want to write a fanfic where Luke survives his little dip in the pond. I have so many ideas of how Luke would have reacted to all the stuff that happened after the lake incident. Luke wasn't too sure about Wellington and I don't think he would have wanted to stay back at Carver's place because of the bad memories. Personally, I think Luke would have asked where Clementine would want to go and just go along with her preference.

  • Yeah, in hindsight, leaving Howe's and using the herd to escape wasn't such a good idea. We ended up losing Carlos, Sarita and Nick(because he got shot), Sarah(because losing her dad hits her too hard), and Rebecca(since Carlos wasn't there to help her through the birth).

Ahhh but here's the thing, it's all a trick. You see, it all started when Telltale learned about the ALS ice bucket challenge...

Same. I kept expecting him to just pop up and be like "omg hai betches" but then he didn't. Then I was expecting to see him as a walker on top of the ice, but that didn't happen. THANK GOD.

Leading up to the finale I predicted that Clementine would get shot. I was wondering how the group would react and how Luke would react, AND OF COURSE SHE GETS SHOT BY ARVO AFTER LUKE DIES. I really wanted to see his brotherly side come out.

Please write it! I would totally read it. And yes, that ending would tie into her dialogue with Bonnie where she can say that nobody ever listens to her.

  • Luke would be by her side in an instant. He would have been applying pressure to her wound to stop the bleeding and yelling at her to "Hang on!" His focus would 100% be on saving her.

It's funny. I'm always imagining how Luke would react in certain situations. Like back in episode 4, when Kenny is giving Clem shit over what happened to Sarita. Bonnie, Mike, Rebecca and Jane just sit/stand in the background and let Kenny yell at Clem. And I'm sitting in front of the screen thinking, "Man, if Luke was here right now he would be defending Clem so hard."

I think I might just write it. It could help me cope.

  • I didnt particularly want a Luke v. Kenny decision. I was starting to hate the whole Luke against Kenny thing going on the forums. I do agree that he deserved better but he did have a heroic death. He gave his life to save Clem. I just hope shes not carrying that on her conscience too.

  • I almost believed that for 2 mother picking seconds as I was reading that. God darn you quinnics! T_T
