It is so disappointing that there are actually a multitude of players who are up in arms about Kenny's actions in the finale. The haters are worse than any of the craziest Kenny fans..
Lee rage kills some guy pre-apocolypse because he was nailing his wife and we all love Lee. Kenny attempts to rage kill Jane post-apocolypse after he suspects her of killing a baby and people hate Kenny.
This makes no sense to me at all.
Those 70% on the wiki are fake.
Only 23% are with Jane lol.
And 37% with Kenny, 17% at Wellington, 23% are alone.
At least that's what I got when I played my game (I got about 16 or 17% for my Wellington ending). Everyone can edit the Wiki.
Since Flog61 and his pals are trying to imply anybody who doesn't love Kenny or didn't save Kenny is targeted by this thread.
OP and I ar… moree only talking about harcore Kenny haters.
Not people who disagreed with Kenny's actions or disliked him, not even people who hate him as character (which is the right of anyone) but who still respect his presence and interest in the game, and are okay with the players who found the Kenny endings were personally best for them.
We're talking about a margin within the community who are basically obsessed with Kenny and will jump at every single f*cking comment approving of Kenny's actions to let the author know how wrong he is and what a despicable character Kenny is. The ones who will not let a single positive comment towards Kenny go unpunished under their overzealous watch.

Kenny was crossing the line, that's a fact that he acknowledges. Killing him is something he knows is the only right decision to make in that situation and he's happy you stopped him from becoming the next Lily/Carver.

Oh so before 20-20 hindsight kicks in they made the right call with the information available... hmmm. They couldn't accept that it wasn't a storybook ending therefore they pretended it never happened. They're children.

Lee knows he made a mistake, he never says that he was right to do it - ever. He was even going to pay for what he did until **** hit the fan and he was resigned to that fate as he knows that he had to be punished for what he did.
I'm sure if Clementine could go back and shoot Lee to stop him from committing murder he would be proud of her too as he's haunted by it throughout S1 and regrets it a great deal.

Than you have anger management issues. I have 5 brothers and if they were killed by an accident I would want to know what happened and why before flipping out. Lashing out over something that was out of someone's control and committing murder against an innocent isn't my style and it's a shame it isn't yours as well.
I am biased here.
I have a younger brother and sister who were babies while I was in my teens and I would lose my $hit like Kenny if I th… moreought someone had harmed them in anyway even if it was an accident... add on a post-apocolyptic setting to that mix.... all roads would lead to a brain implosion for me.
Why do you say that as if I quoted your name ? I don't know you from a hole in the ground, don't even know which characters you prefer. Actually your name is not unfamiliar, but I think I remember it more from TWAU discussions, no ?
Anyway, doesn't change the facts such "threats" existed back then, I remember it clearly. Some members of this community (I have no names in mind) couldn't stand the idea that Kenny could have made it from his situation at the end of S1, and did make it clear that if he actually returned, it would ruin the game to them and they would boycott the sequel.
But you know,
I bet anyone who did say that didn't actually do it.
Of course, I agree and never said the contrary. Such ultimatums to Telltale are common (If Clem dies we riot etc), and it's not because people say it that they actually act on it. But it's still an attempt to try to bully Telltale into casting some characters, which I don't consider fair game.

Damnit, Kenny, even though he has a dark side inside he did everything for Clem, i'm going to be honest, some people will dislike me, others will not, but here i go, I love Kenny he is awesome, but i hated him in many parts of the episode, Telltale, congratulations, you guys really played with my heart, like i was saying i hated him most of the episode, but I'm not giving up on him, in my main file i had to kill him, i saved Jane and of course i forgave her, but what Kenny saiid, that I did the right thing, it made me cry, he proved again that he would do anything to protect the ones he loves, that's the reason i decided to make another file and save him, then in Wellington, he sacrificed for AJ and Clem by leaving them in safety, but no, My Clem won't leave friends behind, that's the reason I went with Jane and Kenny in both files, to be honest I think Kenny is a hero, his endings were so awesome, I loved all the endings, but Kenny was the character that made me cry, not Rebbecca, or Jane, or Luke, not even the flashback, Kenny was the one that made cry, I am not saying this as his fan, Im saying this as a gammer, to me he is a freaking hero, he apologized even when he got shoot by Clem, god... Sorry for witting I like this i, i felt lazy to write it properly.
Umm... why not? I came onto this forum after playing the episode expecting a good amount of people to finally be on board with me. Its disappointing that so many people will throw Kenny under the bus no matter what he does. That was the point in what I was saying.
Possibly, but I don't think I stated that I would murder anyone? A couple of punches may be thrown, however if someone decided to bring a knife to fist fight I don't know how I would react.

Did you mean "..after he suspects her of killing a baby...". Absolutely, the relationship between Jane/Kenny was acrimonious at best and to me that fight esclated to a death match once Kenny was slashed in the gut. I can't remember too well but don't you have a fight option between Lee vs Kenny on the train. This is all hypothetical which I really dislike, but I don't think Kenny would have killed Jane unitl that knife was presented.
I'm totally 100% sober, though perhaps I am not being as clear as I should be.
Finally be on board? LOADS of people were proKenny - and still are!
I see people say that a lot, but I don't know. Maybe they float around, but they do not seem to be as vocal as the other side of the spectrum. I genuinely feel like my opinion is in the minority. I know I have seen other Kenny supporters say the same thing. We could be wrong, I don't know. But for whatever reason we feel like the minority.. at least when it comes to discussion on the topic.
Expecting that everyone should agree with you is just...
I'm only saying that there is a large portion of people out there who will always hate Kenny no matter what, and I'm disappointed that there were not more people who had changed their minds.
I do not expect everyone to agree with me. I truthfully do not know where you got that from.

The only other explanation I can think of is that you've been hacked because you're coming across unfortunately as quite self-important here...
You're not sounding like your usual awesome self..
Well in fairness Jane actually puts away the knife halfway through the fight and looks like she doens't want to continue, and then Kenny attacks her again.
So, I think since he carried on fighting after Jane warned him with the knife and then sheathed it to end the fight, we can't really blame her for actually using it.

FYI - I shot Kenny and left Jane
I agreed with Kenny on a lot of things but the fact is that he CROSSED THE LINE and I wasn't going to let him finish crossing it. Murder is never okay, I expected BETTER from him and when he was close to killing Jane I had to put him down because he was no better than Lily or Carver at that point and I REFUSED to let him become those monsters.

I can't help it that I'm disgusted by those that try and rationalize cold blood murder. I'm in the medical field. I was trained to SAVE LIVES. I have NO respect for those that gleefully condone killing those that don't deserve to die because they're angry or fanatical followers of a person/cult/religion/ideal.
My advice is to leave for a while. Get some fresh perspective and come back with some actual topics. Not whatever... this is.
I'm so tired of these threads whining and crying that Kenny's character isn't treated right because people are fed up with him getting away with every crime imaginable and people blindly supporting it. These threads are truly reaching new lows. I've seen people calling Jane a whore that deserves to burn in hell? Are you all that say this serious?
She as defending herself and she put it away at one point. Kenny turned it into a death match and intended to murder her before she even took the knife out the first time.
Possibly, but I don't think I stated that I would murder anyone? A couple of punches may be thrown, however if someone decided to bring a knife to fist fight I don't know how I would react.
Nah. At the start of the fight she did, but she never did after that. After Kenny pins her to the wall, Jane goes into full on attack mode the rest of the way, escalating the fight into a fight to the death. She doesn't back off then, even when she herself had an opportunity to. At some point during the fight, she decided that she wanted to kill Kenny.
Honestly I think the whole point of her putting her knife away at the start of the fight was just to give Kenny more confidence in attacking her. If she truthfully intended to end the situation there, it would have been completely counter productive to her entire plan in the first place.

What context do you think I mean?
Yeah, 70% of people shot him.
Hm, not worse, they're just as bad.

Key word 'suspects'.
It was actually more than 70% on my playthrough.
Blind Sniper's next resort....
If you were a real Kenny fan you would give him what he wanted, kill him and save an innocent from his blood rage.
I think Kenny escalated the fight after Jane put away her knife, and Kenny then attacked her again.
She essentially said 'this is over' by sheathing her weapon, and he carried on.

Feeling 'disappointed' in people for not liking Kenny at the end isn't really fair is it?

Well hopefully. This thread should definitely be closed.
I've flagged it now, anyway.
Pay attention, Jane gave him multiple chances to back down and even put her knife away. Kenny attacked her.

I did too. Fair is fair.
Dude, you're saying valid things but just...tone down the rudeness a little yeah?
I agree, but phrasing it in the way you did isn't going to help anything
Thank you for stepping in before I do.

I know, and I completely agree, it's just....these people aren't going to listen to that opinion if you phrase it in such a way![:/ :/](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Do it. It's doing more harm than good.
Dude have you SEEN the thread that said 'if you shoot Kenny Lee hates you'? It got ONE HUNDRED LIKES.
They CLEARLY ARE here and they CLEARLY ARE VOCAL.
I think there are as many people who hate Kenny no matter what as who like him no matter what. Those things are just as bad as each other.
Being disappointed that even more people than already are are agreeing with you is silly.
