Does anybody feel like Mike and Bonnie's betrayal are out of charcter?
First, this isn't hate on Mike and Bonnie. It feels out of character, Bonnie is a prime example of a hypocrite. For example, Bonnie shows regret for leading Carver to Clem's group, and she tries to redeem herself by helping them escape and survive with them. Tell me, who didn't say "AGAIN?!" when Bonnie popped up with Mike and Arvo. None of us knows that much about Mike, but who's idea was it to give Arvo a gun? If Mike just wanted to leave, why did he have to steal all the supplies and leave in the truck?

I feel like Mike's was. I could see Bonnie doing it because her fat-ass got Luke killed, but she blamed me.
It made sense
How?
Trying to get away from someone who could kill them if they say the wrong thing.
That's in their perspective , we all know kenny was awesome.
I don't think it was right for them to steal everything Clem's group had, that's just being selfish.
Yeah , they are assholes after all
Yeah they are. Let's hope we see them again in Season 3 and get some payback.
No. They seemed to be quite un-trustworthy and even Luke picked up on it, especially with Mike. I did also feel that Mike would be acting kinda too friendly with Kenny after we see Kenny pretty much holding him up against a wall.
Well, I mean they were scared of Kenny. And what do we do when were scared? We run away from it, or sometimes fight it.
Them wanting to get away from Kenny made sense. Leaving Clem and the baby behind + taking all the supplies was out of character. (At least in my playthrough)
Am i the only person whos Bonnie died?
Maybe.
When Bonnie said "I knew a lot of men, heard a lot of promises, none of them came true" and told Clem to think about she really wants, i guess she had been tricked and hurt a lot by men before, while she was nice and truthful. This traumatized her then she got tired of that and eventually turned from good girl to bad girl. that´s where came from her shifty behavior, not concerning to account for what she does.
We don´t know anything about Mike though.
I liked Mike. I said this in another thread. I didn't peg Mike as a traitor but as a follower. In the scenerio where Bonnie is with Arvo and Mike. I can believe it. She talked Mike onto her side because he was feeling bad for Arvo. She was a manipulative cow. In that, I can see it happening. She was a wishy-washy LIAR from the start. Her giving me a coat didn't make up for the fact that she was a constant complainer and a big part of the scheme to steal the ski lodge supplies, kill our friends, hold us captive and force us to work in their labor camp. I never trusted her.
However, I let Bonnie fall in the ice and die. So, it was just Mike and Arvo. That I didn't see coming. I didn't think Mike would make his own decisions and I was like "Who gave that little jerk a gun??" I didn't think Mike was that stupid. I did feel that was a little out of character but at the same time Mike was a afraid of Kenny so I can see him being a coward and sneaking off in the middle of the night. It wasn't too hard to believe just wasn't expected.
I TOTALLY thought when I woke from the dream that Kenny and Jane killed them both. "They ran off into the woods."....OK. Is that like the story you tell kids about the dog going to live on a farm with lots of space to run around aka it's dead??? Ha.
Well, this is what? The third time Bonnie's run away from her problems instead of facing them head on? It made sense that she did what she did. It's just kinda dumb she would take all the supplies but whatever. About Mike... well, we didn't really know him that well. Oh, and he could also accidentally kill Clem in a game over in episode 3 because he didn't want to get caught so, yeah, he probably didn't really care much about her.
Man, I regret cheering for them when Episode 4 came out.
I once was scared of some guy beating this foreign teenager that didn't tell his group to stop attacking us...
so this woman and I decided to side with this foreign teenager and leave two adults, one kid, and one baby without truck or supplies in a roof-less house in the middle of snowy nowhere.
Oh, did I mention it was during the Zombie Apocalypse?
No ragrets.
Nope, I let her die after discovering Luke dies any ways.
Lee would be ashamed of us and them.
Well, you did have to leave Luke for dead so that Bonnie would die and since Luke was fairly likeable...
You and me both...
The thing about Mike is that he was a prisoner at Carver's community and we really don't know what he did to be in that position.
Maybe he wasn't such a great guy as we thought in episode 4
Nope. My Bonnie died and I didn't even remember because I was more concerned with Luke...also I hated her....also it was her own stupid fault.
Mike felt a bit out of character, but not Bonnie. When Clem got shot and Mike and Bonnie were talking, Bonnie was sort of acting the same way she did when she accidentally killed Dee in 400 days
It's kinda out of character if you help Luke though as she's pretty sweet to you after it
They were just completely fed up of Kenny's actions.
Yeah they were dicks for betraying us, but come on we knew them for what, three or four days?
We barely knew ANYTHING about Mike. He was just appalled at how Kenny treated Arvo, and Bonnie blamed him for Luke's death so I udnerstand why they left.
It's still wrong and assholey, but understandable and hence not so much out of character.
I bet that Cigarette she gave Clem was pretty sweet too.
Bonnie... I thought she's learning from her mistakes! I forgave her once she said she regreted what she did in the Ski lodge, because I thought a lady who succeeded in giving up drugs can also succeed in growing better. I understand why she want to leave. She had tried so hard to get the group together in E4 and E5, but the facts disappointed her. But Jesus, all the supply and leaving the baby behind? Abandoning Clem, who she "cares" so much about??? It made me feel bad when Bonnie ask Clem to get to the water from the gap, but she soon appologized, or said that she should have never asked if Clem refused. I hope that only if you lied to Leland in Bonnie's 400day Esipode, Bonnie will be that stupid and hypocritical.
why would i risk my life to save a grown man
How is it that Kenny is blamed for Luke's death? Bonnie man, that girl's logic is a mystery.
Kenny was psychotic and, as far as I'm concerned, needed a bullet in the head long ago.
That's still no excuse to abandon two children with him and a female sociopath.
I tend to side with 'foreign teenagers', for what that's worth. Racist rednecks with brain damage tend to scare me.
You killed Kenny?
Leland. Carver. Kenny was the next 'alpha male' she had to deal with, and I suppose she saw Clementine as being in a similar position to how she was with Carver.
I still find it ironic that she still leaves with tough guy Mike. Maybe because he's not a domineering ass and Arvo definitely isn't in any position to boss her around?
So was Jane. And Reggie, whose crime was helping Luke. And then Sarita and Kenny, whose only crime was protecting their friends after the cabin group took shelter in their home.
Still, he was going to steal all the supplies in the truck.
I feel like you haven't seen both Kenny endings, it's definitely enough to change the mind of a Kenny hater.
Those Racist rednecks are pretty funny and redeem themselves in the end.
I'm an European who is half Indian, half Hispanic, with a black boyfriend (from Florida coincidentally) and neither of us thought Kenny was racist for a moment... it was just a funny moment.
He still thinks the TV series are better than the game, meh.
Besides, Kaatja was Belgian, and Sarita (though that seems to be a Spanish name?) was Indian, how is Kenny racist again? Only towards black people? During Season Two he says nothing but good words about Lee.
Because... eh... it's not like he has a machete or anything!
Right?
