I was surprised by how little Luke's death affected me, I let out a sigh and felt sad for a moment, but that's about it. It's strange. I loved his character in ATR and AHD, and at the point he had been my favourite character introduced in S2. I felt that episodes 3 and 4 sidelined him to develop other characters, and I guess that's where I stopped caring for him as much. I still enjoyed his scenes in ep5, especially those with Clem, but my feelings surrounding his death scene were just panic and a momentary flash of sadness.
I wish TTG was consistent with his development across the episodes. He had so much potential that just went down the drain after ep2.
