    White Carlos

    Hispanic Molly

  • I was surprised most people saved Pete over Nick.. Pete got bit

  • I know Telltale reuses models, but Jesus, it was so obvious.

  • Right, hadn't crossed my mind. I guess that he may be.

  • I still think it was sort of fishy with the amount of times he kept bringing how he was a father up.

  • I was surprised more people stole supplies from the abandon car in S1

  • Cutting off Sarita's arm poll surprised me.

Hm, I haven't played the game in a while, so I don't really recall him bringing up that he was a father readily. And if he did, it was probably to gain sympathy from Clem and Jane when he saw AJ and asked them if that was their kid. I'm not denying the dude is suspicious or anything (I got my eye on him too), I mean it's an apocalypse you can't be too careful, but he could probably think the same for Clem and Jane from his perspective.

I was a little surprised that the majority had Clem shoot the Stranger instead of Lee strangling him, though that is kind of a hard QTE to pull off the first time, since you have to mash down the X or A button hard to get Lee to successfully strangle the Stranger.

I remember that I was pressing the wrong button near the end, so Clem shot The Stranger.

  • It's not that you have to mash it hard, it's the same as all other quick time events in the game. The only difference is here the prompt starts fading away then disappears so you think ''Oh it's done''. but you actually have to keep mashing for a good while even AFTER the prompt disappears in order to successfully strangle the stranger.

  • Hm, maybe I just looked too much into it. I´m sorta paranoid these days with who you can trust.

Well, I guess better safe than sorry, haha.

  • Yeah, same here kinda. That's also one of the reason I didn't turn them away. Telling them to get lost doesn't really help to keep Clem, Jane and AJ safe since, well... the family's now pissed off and they now know where the Howe's Hardware store is, so there's nothing stopping them (at least Randy) from coming back at night or when they least expect it to get some form of revenge. I let them in as more of a means to keep an eye on them if they ever do plan to do something drastic.

  • Yeah, I´m already preparing myself for their comeback. I doubt they´re gonna let this go by just like that, that´d be too easy. That and Jane warned me about it when they were leaving. Clementine replied "we´ll be ready" but she´s honestly more confident than I am.

I was surprised how many people took Lilly with them.

  • Also, i was surprised how few people didnt want to hold the baby (i was part of them)

  • Yeah. Either way, if TellTale actually does continue Clem's story with the possibility of small different prologue openings based on the endings players got, I'd doubt whether you let the family in or not would drastically play any differently. Randy will either still try something or another group (more hostile) will stumble upon Howe's Hardware causing Clem and AJ to leave.

  • I actually think they´ll continue it. Which, yeah, is Randy´s family´s demise anyway. If they´re let in they could cause confusion and die/leave or simply die. If they´re not let in, they could attack us and die regardless/flee.

  • Kenny, too, for those who saved him. I just hope it´s not Omid style. :/

  • Same here, otherwise it would be really cheap and just a rinse and repeat of the prologue of season 2.

  • I was pretty surprised at how many people didn't shoot Rebecca. I mean, I get it might have been confusing but this far into the ZA you should know you have to put her down.

  • Yup, let them last more than 10 minutes, please...

Oh, and I was also surprised that more people chose to cover for Luke at the lake instead of going to save him.

I personally ran to save him because I knew I was a terrible shot.

I kind of wish one of the two choices would have saved Luke. I genuinely felt like I had personally gotten him killed on my first play through.

According to the Wiki, most people wound up with Jane and let the family in. I'm not one of those people who is going to try to make this a

  • I chose to cover him because I thought if he leaned forward he could sort of crawl and get his leg out. I also thought the walkers would have gotten him if I hadn't chose to cover him.

  • Haha. I think its cuz most of us tried to be reasonable and figured adding more weight to the ice was a bad idea. He only had one leg in the water. If Bonnie hadnt gone after him I think he could have made it.

  • A lot of people picked the "Negotiate with him" choice, and for some reason, that's considered the same as siding with Larry.

Back in S1, I was surprised that only about 50% of people stood up to Larry at the drug store.

  • I panicked and chopped it off cuz I just kept thinking that if I cut it fast enough, the infection wont spread. In retrospect, it was an incredibly stupid idea. I have no idea why I thought it would work.

  • Same here. I also thought that by the time they escaped the herd completely out of site and danger it would already be too late to do anything about her bite.

  • I think it would make most sense to try anyway, even if you know you've gone past the point where it'd effectively save you. The nastiness is in the blood, but the stuff infecting the bite is still in the bite, so in the event bleeding out can be managed and prevented, I think most people would rather get rid of the bite if they had the stones to do it themselves or if someone else was around who could. It doesn't save you, but it does help the body in a way. Lee blacked out less after the amputation.

I was surprised that more people chose to give that bandit water. Why would I give the guy who got Clem and Christa separated anything he wanted? For all we know Christa could be dead because of that douche. I let him suffer.

  • covering him is also exactly what he suggests and that fear is exactly why. if you listen close while youre shooting you can hear him getting pretty upset with bonnie for not just cooling her jets and rushing her 115 lb heap of treacherous carcass over to "help" (read:kill) him, instead of doing what he asked. luke was a noble guy, but im pretty sure he thinks the "everybody buy me some time and back off so i can try to be delicate about this" option is the best way to save his own butt. the fact that it didnt further endanger bonnie or clem was incidental.

Exactly because I was afraid if I went over to him I would have broke the ice completely drowning us both. I figured that staying back and cover for him was the most logical and more likely to work.

  • i was one of those people. The dialogue option for that is "can't we try the door again?" or some such. It wasn't anything like, "Hey, Bonnie? Will you stick your arm in there blind like the utter moron i know you to be?"

I was thinking of hell Chrysta gave both Lee and Clem at the station house under the bridge in a very similar situation. A]I (as the player) genuinely thought batterng the thing down with a cannonball or something would`ve been wiser, loud or not, than anyone poking any appendages through that gap... let alone "trying the door again." B)I figured that i (as Clem) was sure to remember that day and that lesson.

i, myself, was amazed that such a huge majority (probably the biggest of all 50 tough choices, with the possible exception of holding AJ) chose to forget all about the bridge and poke their face in.
