A New Angle for Season 3

  • Vernon and Mike had reasons though. It's horrible, but the group admitted they'd have done the same as Vernon in Ep5.

Which group? Do you mean Lee, Kenny, Christa, Omid, and Ben (if he's still alive)? Because Christa is the only one who says they would have done "the same thing". Kenny disagrees with Christa - to put it mildly - and Lee's response depends on how the player chooses to characterize him.

  • Yeah actually :o I'd like a kind of "The Road" style game, less characters but much more bonding, make them like family

I think this time they should just focus on maybe one or two characters instead of eight different characters. I also think they should increase the # of episodes from five to eight.

  • Exactly i think should steal some of the good writing ideas TLOU , I want to see Crazy Nate and Clementine in Season 3/4, and their adventure to get that taco.

  • We know Kenny is hypocritical though. I love him but he'd say that of lots of things. Vernon's group had been almost killed by Crawford, all younger people, and here was another group of young people looking for a boat that wouldn't hold all of them even without Vernon's group. Add Kenny's brash demeanor, moreso towards Ben in front of Vernon and getting Bree killed, the idea of getting screwed over by more young people who led a herd into town, knew where their hideout was. It was horrible, as was not telling Lee's group about the herd, but he helped Lee navigate the sewers of his own kindness, and helped Omid of his own kindness, both if you didn't even ask him to if you played kind Lee

  • Idk why Nate wasn't in S2. I thought his popularity kind of implied he'd be important, like a St John ish entire episode character. I hope they're saving him for a new DLC or S3. I want to see him run into Steve from Russel's old camp, the insane guy, or Carver

Personally i know this would be far fetched but i would love to see a odd couple parody with Nate, Lilly, and Clementine in the middle.

  • First idea that comes to mind is no more Clem (least, hardly any Clem) buy I truly hope this doesn't hold true.

  • Wouldn't mind using a new character in Season 3. But Clem better be in it! And hopefully Christa.

  • I personally would be quite amused if Nate adopted Arvo as his new companion.

  • Hmm. I don't seem to see anyone suggesting that our protagonist for season three will be the kid with the group you turn away at the end. That turn around from him and cinematic pause seemed rather important to me. Maybe some sort of side tale? Either way, I am certain we will see him in the future.

  • Not gonna lie, I really want to see him again.

It's gonna be Nate! You know you want this misogynistic, murderin', stealin' bastard to take the reigns!

  • Well....TWD2 has my favorite ending ,which is staying with Kenny, so... I want to continue that ending in my imagine.
If the protagonist in the TWD3 is Clem, Kenny is gonna die....I don't want that..

  • That what I was thinking....

Im thinking you will end up at Wellington with AJ no mater what ending you had..

I think next season is going to be a lot more............. intimate....

Maybe we play from within a community? Instead of moving from place to place all the time?

  • I can support this, you know he would call him Crippled Potter.

  • Ive considered this also, and for the same reasons..

I think it's unlikely but its there to be considered,

  • A new angle?

It could mean we play as an even older Clementine with a new way of thinking/surviving etc.

  • edited September 2014

My immediate reaction to that line was that they will probably be focusing on a story within a larger community, like the one at Wellington, probably still playing as Clem, just not as worried about basic survival for a small group all the time.

  • It's unlikely. The kid's appearance is determinant and his model is just a recolor of Duck's...
