  • If you know a better place to go and talk about one's opinion of The Walking Dead Game, be sure to let me know, I'll take my stuff and go there immidiately. Oh Good. I didn't say I hate this game, I said it is simply overrated. I wonder why people keep calling this game a masterpiece, that's all I wanted to know. Unless you want me to go away, I have no problem with it.

It was a horrible idea to go to a fan base and say the thing they love is horrible, average, or terribly overrated. I think you came into

  • It's the closest we have to masterpiece in this era of gaming that focuses mostly on shooters, good graphics, good gameplay..Telltale took a risk and tried something different, and succeeded.

Im starting to think he might be a troll with multiple accounts.

  • The reason I'd probably call this a masterpiece is because of the quality of the story. To me, story takes the #1 spot when it comes to video games for me, and TWD delivered. It was the first game where I felt attached to the characters, and felt like I should help them. I came to like character like Ben, Clem, Lilly, Doug, Katjaa, Duck, Mark, Chuck, heck, I even liked Larry. This was mostly in part to the fact that the characters were portrayed as flawed beings, not just characters there to make the story function. Everyone had a reason for their actions, and we got to learn about them, and that's something I don't see very often.

Out of curiosity, could the OP give an example of what they consider to be a good game?

  • You mean to hate on the game for the smallest flaws?

Maybe hating on the game in the fan forums isn't the appropriate place?

This game is amazing, no one claims this game doesn't have flaws but we do claim it is a great game.

Honestly I think your bias of apocalyptic games DID in fact affect your opinion on this game, you pointed out small flaws, by the way most of the flaws you claimed can be explained and justified.

If you don't plan on playing season 2, how did you know that Johnny's voice actor was the same as the guy on the radio in 400 Days?

  • It's alright, I just wanted an explanation as to how you knew the information. Continue on with your life.

  • No, we were done with that house because plot forced us to go off and find a boat. There was a toolbox inside. Perhaps Lee would have used one of them to pry things open instead of took Molly's hook - she suddenly got rid of her most valuable weapon to help a stranger who wanted to beat her down; and gave her an exuse to demand a place on a boat. They didn't check out a second floor either.

Why did Molly give Lee Hilda...Clementine.

Actually they did however LEE didn't, his job was to check the first floor.

You didn't like it, we did, you're opinion isn't better than ours.

Again, why go to a fan thread to complain about a game you didn't want to play, like the subject, and didn't like?

Sometimes its better to keep your opinions to yourself.

  • I don't care how many subscribers game has, what I'm saying is that TWDG is a strong leader in the most of "the best game ever; 10/10" reviews I've seen, and I dont agree with this.

Lol it's not THAT overrated. The creators of the game has 70,000 subscribers unlike the most overrated game ever, which is Call of duty which has 2,000,000 subscribers.

  • It wasn't my point. Hope you're having fun.

No. You should speak out your mind when you need to do it. It ain't a fan thread, it's a forum, all opinons matter. I liked the game, I just didn't love it. I haven't asked you to comment, never wanted to create a troll or hater of myself.

  • Not much point as it's 2:30AM where I am and most of your retortions are simply ridiculous. It's obvious you're looking for trouble otherwise you'd have moved on without complaining about the game to its fanbase. I'll just give my response in regards to Kenny.

Let's say Danny St.Jones sacrifices himself instead of Kenny. Is that brings a tears too?

The St. Johns were fucking insane cannibals who only cared about themselves. Kenny was a good man who pro-actively looked out for the group, but made some mistakes on the way. Upon seeing Ben/Christa in trouble he realizes that it's his chance to cement himself as someone who looked out for others... It's hardly out of character and I don't see how you could think it is. I've literally never seen that argument made here because it's plain foolish, and I'm sure even the most overzealous Kenny-haters would agree with me on that one.

  • That you all should allow this game to take a bit of criticism. Accept different opinions, let people speak without throwing stones at one another.

    What was your point?

  • Or Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing... They're both quality games with riveting storylines!

    Probably Ride to Hell Retribution...

  • Being misunderstood often leads to that.

    Sadly it appears you did...

  • We do accept criticism...When its valid.

  • I understand it isn't a game for everyone, but im alright with choices not drastically changing the story, because they wanted to tell you a linear story, which is alright because i like a good story. But the choices just added a little variety in everyone's playthrough without changing the complete narrative. You could be a completely honest good guy or a survivalist douche but you still had to protect Clem and it still ended the same way. The characters just got developed very good and it made me care for them, and i know some people don't get that attachment i got, but like i said it isn't for everyone. And yes, there are some plot holes but i mean a lot of games have some. I just don't worry too much on the plot holes and i just appreciate the story they told me, and it is one of my favorites. I guess im alright with the illusion of choice, but i know it doesn't really matter what i choose because it ends the same way, but the choices are different enough for me to enjoy and think they matter, which they sort of do in my mind because of the character's reactions and them mentioning it later on. I understand your opinion completely though.

  • They couldn't search all the rooms in 15 second.

Yeah they were searching and found the attic and Kenny stayed there.
